Good point guys! Better include those rounds that nobody knows the performance of because... ... Hmm...- 16577 replies

Agreed on both points. This is an amazing mod, but my PC isnt super hot. We have a blast on our hosted server, but something a bit lighter for the weaker PC's would be appreciated. And any chance of the requirements for unlocks being definable or able to be set at mission start? Something like "1/4 normal, 1/2, normal, 1 and 1/2" etc?

I agree totally. IMO, it should be very small-arms resistant. But HMG fire and greater should be a very serious threat still. 300 rounds is far too much.

The MQ-12 Falcon could benefit from a larger "window" or "windshield" so to speak to emulate an array of synchronized sensors. Hell even better, the ability to look around while in the UAV to look to different sides would be the best of all. It also really does need some sort of HUD internally, or at least an altimeter with appropriate flight instruments to show flight conditions.

Its probably to help with the issue you've posted about :) If the vertical dispersion is a bit higher, then rather than hit the same point over and over and failing to kill a tank it will hit other areas and get a confirmed kill. It should help the AI I mean. Regardng the T-14, I doubt there's enough solid data on it to merit its inclusion given what the RHS folks have modeled so far. Practically nothing is known about its armor levels for instance.- 16577 replies

Is the Javelin missile meant to be "spoofable" via chaff/flares from helicopters? I assume given its guidance method it'd ignore them even if it did somehow trigger a launch warning.- 16577 replies

Funny little bug I'm going to post about on the tracker :P A Hind with ATGM's sitting 90 degrees off (like aiming west, while Im sitting North) in a vehicle is capable of locking onto me, and the missile soars out, loops around, and comes back on the right. Pretty funny to see!- 16577 replies

Hey, love the update! :) I was wondering if the Longbow Hellfires are working as intended though? I fired 14 of em frontally into a T-80UM and it survived. 14 Hellfires. T-90A (2012) took 4. Is this a shared issue with how the AI aims, so the "Lock on" was actually hitting one of the tank's strong points? Or just the tank not cooking off, but being out of action?- 16577 replies

Is anyone else experiencing improper FCS LRF returns when firing at a vehicle from a different elevation? Abrams firing at a T90 from 2.2km on the dry lake bed's Southern edge, at the elevated portion, will constantly get shots landing short and requiring repeated manual adjustment.- 16577 replies

Does dumping lead with the G key on the Abrams FCS also drop the range to target, or does it maintain that until manually reset or an invalid entry is given to the LRF? Given how vehicles in ArmA move and can stop/turn extremely sharply, I've yet to come across a single situation in which the auto-lead has been useful so I just try and drop it out of habit.- 16577 replies

NATO SF and Russian Spetsnaz WEAPONS for A3
nerdwing replied to massi's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Love the mod, and grabbing the update now :) Would you be up to changing the counter-measures sensitivity of the SA-7 in the future? Its currently the same as the Titan, Stinger etc, when in truth its a super old missile with no countermeasures rejection implemented. For refernece, RHS gave the Stinger 0.96 immunity and the Igla 0.95. These are both updated, modern variants of the missile. The SA-7 was a first-generation, Vietnam era system. It should be something you see Guerillas spamming and flying all over due to CM interference I imagine, with Iglas and Stingers being much more efficient versus flares and all. I'd suggest going as low as CMimmunity = 0.3 or so, if you think this is an acceptable change. I know it'd make flying over Rebel units less suicidal, but no less hair-raising! :) -

nerdwing replied to soul_assassin's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Thanks :) Are you able to confirm if the FCS isnt properly calculating your height when adjusting for fire? Firing from the upper rim of the salt lake, compared to firing from the bed itself for instance. The shots taken from elevated spots dont take into account your height advantage, so dont give the proper measurement when you fire which results in a miss. Or maybe its firing from a non-level surface, IDK.- 16577 replies

RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)
nerdwing replied to soul_assassin's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
M1A2 sights dont work like that anymore I dont think, guys. Earlier M1A1 definitely did, but at some point it just became an auto-lead thing while you follow the target with the reticule. Kinda weird, since I imagine the M1A1's worked better :( So what RHS has currently is, in fact, accurate. I've been getting some erratic and incorrect readings for range on the M1A2 though, namely trying to shoot towards the area of 2km using the gunner's sight. I lase the target (stationary, as I am too), and I often get a measurement that results in my shot hitting a good bit low of the target. Is this possibly an issue with the ingame LRF reporting range to the closest part of the model or some such, rather than the actual point attempting to be designated? It very often results in me getting obliterated by T-80's etc because I am repeatedly hitting short :( EDIT: Think I found the problem. Seems the LRF isnt properly calculating for differences in elevation between the shooter and target. So shooting from above will end with my round going short, for instance. Is this fixable, or an engine problem?- 16577 replies

In the future, are there plans to improve the systems for rotary-aviation assets like the Apache? Proper optical systems with accurate levels of zoom, LOAL/LOBL Hellfires etc? or are they outside the scope of the mod's goals at the moment?- 16577 replies

Mod would be worth it for the B-2 alone. Brilliant job gentlemen. Only bugs I've had were already reported, so I'll leave it at that. -
Random though: why did CSAT not receive a MLRS?
