  1. i know pr doesn't use devheaven if you read my post you see if im asking if their is any feature request on the regular arma2 devheaven Your saying the rv engine doesnt handle it well.. so i assume their is done some research about it :rolleyes:. But doesn't stepping over require physical interaction between the soldier and the object?
  2. All that jumping gets me to.. manteling. Should be great to have some mantling in project reality instead of the simple step over. Is their any feature ticket on devheaven on this subject in the regular arma2?

  4. Im not saying they aren't able to get it work with regular arma2 vehicles. I know its all just scripting to make a basic load system. But that's not how things work if you look at PR on bf2. No work a rounds as you would see on other mods. If it doesn't work a 100% it's not going to be in a public release of their mod(I think :rolleyes:). And I hope they continue on that path in arma2. It's about realism.. and if you wont to load a ammobox thats fine but drag it to your chopper and use the cargo ramp.
  5. I think he already answerd your question.. this is not possible to play the "mission" with different factions at the alpha release. And I'm not sure if you can talk about missions if you look at Project reality. It's more of a gametype instead of a single mission. For example If you looked at their teaser you saw working ramps for the merlin helicopter to load ammo etc I'm sure that the default arma2 models don't have working ramps. They will probably add more factions in later time.. at least lets hope for that :rolleyes:

  10. ah well.. this war simulator still supports third person.. so i dont see the problem with big scopes in your screen :mad:
  11. Agreed.. some people think that movement needs to be complex to act like a simulator.. so you end up with the feeling your unit isn't doing what you really want it to do. I totally diasgree with that, its all about finding the right balance.. there are people who can turn a big arcade game into a war simulator just by finding the right balance between gameplay and realism. If you have a look at the mod project reality for battlefied2 they did a hell of a job.. of turning the well known bunnyhoping game bf2 into a smooth running war simulator. I'm not saying that we need to turn arma2 in a bunnyhopping game. But it would be great to have a manteling with a key press. So you could get on small buildings etc..
  12. Would be great indeed. But height detection is a must.. i think its called manteling right? so that the animation and time it takes is different for every different height. I hate the fact when ur under fire and you want to run to cover it takes you 2 min to get over a knee height fench.
