  2. D. Sorry I never got that island spreadsheet to you. I'm working on an updated version of it. I have a question about the editing the skill level down to such a low number like .3 - If you're setting the precision down to .4 already, doesn't setting the skill to .3 just make them too slow and too stupid?
  3. Dsyelxi this is fantastic. I have a question. Would it be possible to make an option so the green dots are hollow instead of solid green? IE. make is to the dot outline is the same color as the HUD markers. It would blend better with the existing HUD and if the dots are outlines instead of solid we could see through the display better. Thanks again for an amazing add-on. :)

I'm just in a mission I made with some LGB Harriers and I'd like to Lase a target for them to destroy. how do I do this, and what type of grunt do I need to select that has this feature (the laser)? Then do you have to manually call for the Harriers to come in and bomb it even if they're already overhead?

    In ArmA2 the Proper mods lower the quality of objects (and their respective LODS). So I was afriad it did the same thing in this mod.

    I just picked up ArmA1 from Sprocket, buy my rig is specced out for ArmA2. I wanted to play the ArmA1 campaign and thought I'd see some mods. This one looks great but I'm wondering if there's a way to disable the lower resolution proper mods? My computer should have no problem running everything in the highest quality settings. or am I misinterpreting what the proper mods do in Warmod?

    The scenario: Russia and "Tinland" (LOL - Finland) are at odds with each other. Karelia and Salla, the two areas of land forfeited to Russia after their bloody WW2 conflict, decide after 70 years of oppressive rule they want to rejoin their motherland Tinland. Tinnish and US/NATO forces move in to secure the area while having to defend against a massive invasion by Russian forces and Guerilla/Insurgents in the area who are native Russians.
  17. Gving gaming sites leeway because they have a lot to do is what's causing so many sites to hire crap reviewers. As the common denominator sinks superb writers like Tom Chick, Bill Abner, Troy Goodfellow, Evan Lahti etc get marginalized. We'd be better off if 90% of the sites out there closed and all that traffic was went towards a few high-quality sites to better support their writers. Legislator - could we dump all those into one giant mod folder so it would work like one big ArmA1 pack? I would love it if someone ported OFP campaigns/missions and ArmA1 campaigns/missions to ArmA2. I feel like I missed out!

    I would love SNOW for DLC. Snowy weather, snow sound effects, snow gear, and big map. Think the contested area of Finland in WWII... Add some new shaders (frosty breath), low hills, 2 medium sized towns on opposite sides of the map, 2 associated airbases, a big DEEP frozen lake in the middle, footprints and tank treads that last for a really long time so tracking can be a big part of gameplay, a huge factory in one town that's too big to just destroy with just mortars...
  19. Is this the best script for getting a set of units to defend a building, or should I be using a different method? I like the idea here because you woudn't know where they would be, but am concerned about the fps hit when applying it to say 20 buildings and 40 individuals?
  20. Wolffy this looks awesoem. I have a question though. If I make ~150 armed civilians across all of Takistan to use this script - would that be a pretty extreme performance hit?
  21. Loyalguard - I don't have ArmA1 but thanks to your super cool electrical grid I want to experience it as well. I have ArmaA2 and OA... so I have a few questions about ArmA1/Sahrani/CEG. #1 - Do I need to buy ArmA1 or does CAA for ArmA2 add everything that's needed? #2 - If CAA does it, does your CEG work within ArmA2 OK? #3 - Do you have a few favorite missions people designed that uses CEG for both ArmA1 and ArmA2? #4 - I have an idea for electrical usage in Takistan... When the electrical grid is on, have the Muslim loudspeaker/prayer thing at the top of the hour (or all the time in softer tone) within the radii of the town. When you cut the electrical it can no longer play :) ex. The problem with Takistan and Zargabad is it lacks the great lighting and infrastructure of Chernarus/Utes. When electrical is off you'd hardly even notice because there are so few street-lights/shop-lights to begin with. You could have a trigger radius zone for each one of these towers: But it'd probably be good if you could integrate it from the beginning with your mod as opposed to having it be a latter add-on.

  24. I'm setting up a dynamic scenario of Russians vs. US. The civilians start out netural (armed), but whoever is the first to accidenally cause a civilian casualty will then have to fight the civilans as well. The trick here in the scenario is there is a lot of "area of effect" weaponry, but they'd better be darn sure there's no a civilian in sight before targeting an area. So how would I do this? Thank you! :)
