Is there a way to make the Simple Support Module only show one option (ie: Air Support) like in the campaign? And all the other options are blured out? -

Different every time for me too. Although at the end (Assaulting Jaza town) I am always left with myself and 2 or 3 other units and end up having to rambo the town taking out every single OPFOR unit solo.... -
Sandstorm Help Needed

Yep, don't make your units packed close together, I like to get my armour lined up for a charge directly southwest of the airfield and I make my infantry head with Hitman instead of your own division, Badger. Make use of your artillery strike on the airfield itself, that is the hardest part. Take it slow and steady too otherwise you'll get fucked up by choppers as well as the large ammount of tanks/Infantry. -
OA Mission E04: Jackal

I didn't fire my rifle once. I parachuted right beside the tanks by the ammo crate and immediately went prone (The only guy to watch out for at the tanks is the lone guy circling around them, do not engage him or anyone for that matter, just stay prone all the way through the level). I placed one satchel charge beside each tank and got more from the crate once I ran out, next I went to the service building and placed two satchels beside one wall. I then crawled under the broken wall leading to the road and layed still if the armoured patrol came down the road, I waited till it went away then rolled to the other side of the road staying prone till I had placed one satchel charge beside the gas pump, and another inside the building. Finally there is a straight path up a hill then detonate all the Satchel Charges at once, makes for a great explosion and everything will be taken out at once. -

Me too, I went to play Bad Company 2 the other day and I found myself slowly moving across the map, taking forever to get a shot with a Sniper right and was wondering why everyone else was running around with no cover like a complete maniac lol. I also wondered why when I threw a grenade at an enemy he just stood there like "Oh look, is that a grenade? Oh well." [Runs off after standing right beside the just exploded grenade] -

I can load my save game with this new version, didn't test for long but from what I saw there were no errors. Nice. -

I read somewhere back several pages that this will work with Combined Operations, but will it work with the old ArmA 2 units and user created mods (ie: SAS pack and SEAL Pack) as I just got done half way with my Campaign (Using ACE and ACE features) so will all my work not work in Combined Ops ACE? -

I think I am having the same problem, I am using just @CBA seeing as I have A2 and OA merged. I am restarting my campaign to see if it was because of the CBA update....But if not :butbut: EDIT: Using A2 v1.07 + OA v1.52 EDIT 2: Yep, it breaks the campaign. I tried starting a new one and it crashes upon loading, only started when I installed this new version.... -

I finally got it this morning, it is really amazing. Great textures and environment with much better FPS (The chopper landing part at Good Morning T-Stan would have made may PC shit the bed in Chernarus...Hence why I never finished Harvest Red....) and the campaign so far is going great. I like the new voices which don't sound as robotic, actually, the dialogue all around is better now. 10/10 -

Some of you guys are starting to sound like ungrateful assholes. Dwarden didn't say anything 'uncalled' for, he's helping us, and his english is fine. At least BIS is actually helping the community and giving us this instead of making the consumers go out and buy Combined Ops and buying both games twice just to get them to work together. -

Yes, if you un-pbo the mission you downloaded and insert the codes to add weapons. Look at the example I gave and then go to the editing section to find complete list of weapon/ammo classnames.

This belongs in the Editing section but: Editing someone elses mission would require you to un-pbo the file and find the description.ext and edit what is setup for briefing weapon selection. If you mean the set weapons of the unit by default (ie: Not selecting your own weapons in briefing) you go into the editor find the unit you want to edit, then type (This is an example, weapon and ammo types can be whatever you want given you know the class name): removeallweapons this; this addmagazine "15Rnd_9x19_m9"; this addweapon "m9"; this addweapon "binocular"; this addweapon "NVGoggles"; this addmagazine "Handgrenade_West";

I'm sure 90% of everyone on these forums owns both A2 and OA and have them combined. No point in releasing a stand alone OA version for the 10% who don't own OA or haven't combined them. -

I ordered simply OA (I already own A2), I just place the download on the first page into the OA directory and all my A2 stuff will transfer to OA yes? I am just asking for whenever OA arrives. EDIT: Both are disc versions -
