Oh, yes, that's what I though too. I'd be great for upcoming update to have pilot without oxygen mask. I think the easiest way will be making 'mask' selection on the model, and then have it hidden in config. At least, that's what I'm doing for my small WW4 extension... ;)

I'm looking for hi-resolution seamless swatches of following camo patterns: USMC Wine leaf, '62 and '68 ERDL, '81 Woodland and '62 John Wayne Tiger-stripe. I've checked sites from here and Camopedia, but they contain only small fragments of said patterns or very lo-fi tiles. Google search gave me only uniforms photos. Anyone have reproduced said patterns to easily adapt them on texture? Thanks in advance!

I don't know if it was reported, but Everon's AH-64 and their APCs seem to have West pilots (Apache) and Resistance crew (instead of Everon Alliance ones).

Well, from what I've read Ghaddafi/Gaddafi soldiers acted very brutal in early phase of revolution - in Misratah and Benghazi cities. So I wouldn't be so sure that they haven't killed civilians (remember that rebels ARE civilians, this is not military junta). These two are facts. That 'mass-rapes-hoax' was widely commented in Poland. And 'collateral damage' is... obvious in modern war. By posting link to CTC report I didn't wanted to change this thread into 'rebels are or are not terrorists' flame war. I just wanted to focus on new threats emerging that are connected with new power in rule of Libya. I'm sure that if new government will turn to fundamentalism, citizens of Libya will protest again - Libyan society is very atheistic (at least when comparing with other Islamic countries). But some people, connected with Al Queda, might gain power and use it against us.

Take a look at fig. 6: Misratah and Benghazi citizens were 'the core' of anti-Ghaddafi rebellion. Are we getting Al Queda after Ghadaffi*? Hope not... *To be honest, connections between the rebels and Al Queda are widely known, thing is that Libyan rebellion is even full of old Ghaddafi's officers, so we can say that amounts of terrorists won't be dangerous - rebels are just group of everyone who want to throw Ghaddafi, no matter if they're old regime officers, democrats or fundamentalists - just like in Egypt. But still, we should have been more cautious.

Matteo1944 There are two Higgins versions (one very old, and recent one from JdB) and there are only WW2 landing boats made for OFP I can remember. But there is a little chance that someone, sometime ago made or started making another type of landing craft: there is huge amount of unreleased WW2 stuff on authors HDDs, so if you'd say what exactly you need, you could get answer if this vehicle was planned by anyone.

Have you started realizing this plan? If not, will you do it in future?

In my opinion, having ready to use units within your pack is better than manually equipping soldiers with weapons - it's faster and easier. And it enables using your weapons in missions without creating custom units, which is still question of future, I think, because WIP status of your pack (it sounds funny when talking about such detailed addon!). So I support idea of units within the pack.

Good idea. TACTEvents are very nice but sometimes they increase lag. Having an option to enable or disable them (for example via game logics) would be great for mission makers who could choose between graphic immersion of mission or it's level of complication and scale. Great news! There are many winter island that are waiting for WW4 mod ;) One question: will Desert Malden and Everon come back in 2.5? I'm not on the verge of dl'ing full 1.0 modpack only to have them :p, so I'll wait to next full release.

Well, due to some bugs in it, you can't play it on-line without problems. Someone found out what is the problem but there was no word from Reyhard. There was one WWII server but it was closed. So no on-line WWII games now :(. Maybe Incubus will host some WWII missions on [LoL] clan server...

I found out that was mistake on my side: I had older version of Laser's US weapons which doesn't have M249 with Elcan... Jan: Check if you've latest HYK soldiers and Laser's weapons - as you can see this mission relies on latest stuff - ACU soldiers from HYK pack 2.02 and 3.0 version of US weapons pack. Having older versions equals problems... PS. Laser released Navy SEALs pack in 2005 - maybe they can replace HYK ACU units?

This weekend I gave this beast a try and... it's really hard! :eek: I'm not good at commanding an AI squad, neither in 'spec-ops' kind of missions and this is real madness! It's like Hitchcock's movie: starts with an earthquake and then it's even worse! :D Warning: text below contains spoilers! Overall: good job Aldo! Some voice acting would be nice addition :)

850 faces is relatively small when we're talking about 'main playing LOD' (let's assume that 25,000 faces LOD won't be showed during normal session) - I've some German AK model with ca. 1300 faces and it'd be nice to add some things here and there. But then again, when it comes to FPS I'd like to have 850 faces, not 25,000 :) But don't worry Miki, if you'd keep LODs as they are now, I think that we won't have much trouble with your AK ;)
