Would You like to see Mumble's LINK - 'open plugin' implemented into ARMA 2?
Bryan replied to Dwarden's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - SUGGESTIONS
I voted yes although I'd personally rather prefer an official integration with Teamspeak3 once it's out of beta. I've been using both Mumble, Ventrilo and Teamspeak for several years, but as far as features and interegration goes Teamspeak (again In my opinion) offers the best suited community solution.- 132 replies

I personally had an incident with him yesterday on the CF public server. I were doing chopper transport when he hauled at me wanting me to pick him up, I went for him and the second I landed he shot me out of the chopper. After a few kicks it eventually lead to a ban. As Jman is mentioning he is a guy with obvious issues.

1 Sector Control map?? and No template??
Bryan replied to jump artist's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - MULTIPLAYER
While your wizard looks interesting I don't really see it's relevance to the topic. On topic: I too find it odd that they didn't incorporate it as a editor wizard, let alone included it as a template for customizing it. -
You obviously didn't get the point. What is eventually being asked for is an altered version of the map. (let me quote the OP) He suggests being able to switch between the normal vision and digital map (gps and the map would provide somewhat that result), and the fact that he prefers a "more simple solution" he should make use of what he's already got.

Have you tried using the "M" key? To me it seems as if you want another "map" with pretty much the same functionality as the other one. You simply have your commander mark the enemy vehicles on the map with some fancy markers and you have your digital map.

Yesterday I was playing a mission with a few guys, and we had no problem fitting 6 people in the minibus, nor have I had any problems with fitting people into other vehicles. Might be a mission issue you're having there.

A rather annoying bug is that you can hear when other people's magazines are empty (the clicking sound) in multiplayer as if the guy was standing just behind you, no matter how far the other player is. How to reproduce: Have another player running out of ammo, and just tell him to keep clicking his mouse, everyone on the server will hear the clicking sound, weather or not they're near each other.

ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead discussion thread
Bryan replied to Tonci87's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
My guess is that Arma2 vanilla uses the one in the main folder, and OA the one inside expansions. -
Alltogether they're 7,2gb Doing the installation it'll decompress to the 9gb as the announced size. Yes, from the point you start installing it'll be as if you're installing any other game.

The files are named as following: setup.exe setup01.bin setup02.bin setup03.bin setup04.bin setup05.bin setup06.bin setup07.bin
-
The downloader will download 8 files (1 .exe and 7 .bins, all having a size around 900mb)to your "C:\Users\Username\Documents\Sprocket". So all you really need to make sure of is that you have enough space on the C: drive.

ARMA II Patch 1.03 & Dedicated Server Released .
Bryan replied to Placebo's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
As mentioned quite a few times today. The issue is not on either side, it is due to steam's updater which doesn't support BI's way of updating the addons(in this case, the update). Hopefully, that'll be ready in the next steam client update.
