Umm ^^ a10 dropped bombs for me, also the troops work fine with U.S and even Russia. for Takistan no troops drop though... just parachutes ---------- Post added at 11:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:59 PM ---------- For some reason you cannot accept or decline when you use the simple support module with the secop... remove the simple support module and you will be able to accept the missions. :)

I was testing this out, driving around could not find anyone driving around... i was just about to quit when i looked to my right and saw a car driving! i tried to catch him up in my tractor, did not happen.

Is the "Simple Support Module" New? never noticed it before and now i can call in Artillery,Airstrikes,mortar bombardments,ammo drops ect just by placing it down :O Can't believe i've been using scripts when i could of just placed this down!

Something has to be wrong! i was in a T-55 on MP... we took an RPG round which disabled the tank and the crew bailed... we killed the enemy on foot.. then i repaired the tank and ordered the crew to enter it. they took about 5 minutes real time just scanning around!! i changed them to safe they just would not move! (and yes the tank was fully repaired) by the time one a.i entered i was destroyed by incoming enemies! very frustrating.

Make a ticket for them to increase size i will vote up :)

It don't really matter to be honest since in a couple of months every server will be running all kinds of mods. i'm just enjoying the early days of OA being able to join any sever i see. :)

Yep of course, someone already said they were adding thermal to the T-90. :)

The M1A1 does have FLIR on it in ARMA2 when you install OA over it... the Russian HIND also has counter measures in ARMA2 after OA has been installed. so have some other units. Two M1A1's yes, because one is Des camo and the other is green. would be nice for other units that do not feature in OA to get upgrade but very doubtful.

When you avoid the City centre to keep fps as high as possible.

Good luck with the Army mate, joining the best in the world for sure. So am i correct in thinking there will be no fix for OA?

Its not cheap, its war... Artillery is very important in war and should be very deadly.

I had no stuttering what so ever and i find choppers VERY easy to fly. clearly had no clue what he was doing. this is not cod where you can pick up and play within 5 minutes. Edit: does the campaign remind anyone of Generation Kill? C.F Kane even looks like the commander lol

You cannot create a game of this scale and expect no bugs what so ever. yes there are plenty of minor bugs (some not so minor) but BIS always patch their games, they always post on the forums... they ask for feedback and LISTEN etc... you say they treat us like dirt? they do not release poor ripoff's and then abandon them few months later like CM do. Also, I have no idea from your post what bug or bugs that has made you turn away from the BEST war simulator game out to date. :cool:

Funny, my game just crashed in MP as i opened the map about 60 seconds ago.... first crash since i got the game hope its just a one off.

Yes, i think OA is brilliant and its my favourite of the Arma games. :) I normally only play in the editor making missions and such, but with OA i have been playing capture the island on MP and i am very much enjoying it. worth every penny.

If you install OA into arma2 folder you should get the ARMA 2 Combined Operations shortcut which is obviously both games.

You really should install patch 1.07 its a big improvement over 1.05 in my opinion. Also, i think OA is the best of the arma series so far(even though its just an expansion)... combined with ARMA2 its an amazing game.

Buy Operation Arrowhead and install the beta patch, then see if you can shoot and actually hit anything without aiming.

There has to be another way to fix this problem, i've actually noticed the quality of sound is down when set to 16bit.. i never had this problem with arma2 though :S
