  1. Oh noes. Really? Thought I got rid of that bug? Anyone else confirm this, on any other of the units also? Ill look into it further tonight. I have a feeling it might be Mikero's pbo packer, as its the first time I have used it to pack something other than CWR2.
  2. Cheers. Sander is making a mission pack set in Chernarus, which will be released in due course, these units are for that mission pack. They have been internal amongst our gaming group since about march this year. As I have a lot on my plate for RHS and CWR2 at the moment, other projects are on the backseat and will continue to be so.

  5. The problem will be that all texture files need to have _co, _nohq, _smdi at the end of them. Its not sufficient to have a texture just called uniform.paa. It has to have the suffix.
  6. What the author needs to do is add the correct geometry lods to his objects.
  7. Is there any progress on how the AI handle the custom map objects? Or anyone that has tested have any feedback? This is an issue that has to be fixed. As pretty as the map may be, it is useless if it you cannot play ARMA 3 on it, if that is the intented end state. If it is simply a creation project then fine its your time in the end, but im sure it would disappoint many. It is highly likely that the problem is the Geometry and Fire LODs of the objects. Simple as that.
  8. This is a bad idea. It cuts your player base in half, maybe even into a quarter. Look how other mods have fixed this issue. Ask them for help.

  13. Spetsnaz FSB v2.0 Requires ARMA 2 Combined Operations I have had these on my hard drive for ages for private use after they got the WIP thread closed. These are a change in direction to the mediocre "modern" FSB I released about 6 months ago. I am releasing them today since Hcpookie released his heavy grenadier update including many new thermobaric and handheld launchers in use by the FSB, and I want the community to get the best of out these units as possible. These units have been thrashed about in SP and MP and work fine. There doesnt seem to be any major bugs. The mission scope for these units however is quite limited as ARMA is really a conventional warfare simulator, but I could see these being an excellent addition to the Forgotten Few Campaign by King Nothing. And as always. Enjoy guys. v2.0 Features Overall the look and feel of these units is generic "Police" Spetsnaz, maybe from groups such as Alfa, that were involved in the Beslan hostage crisis and several other missions in the North Caucasus region throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s. They wear overalls, armoured vests, and the distinctive helmets of the period. 6 kinds of Operators wearing Gorka BARS. 6 kinds of Operators wearing KZS one piece suits. 3 Balaclava heads used by the units by default, can be used using setface or setidentity commands. OA features compatible: Backpacks etc (OA thermal textures will come in a later update), and can administer first aid. Equipped with default BIS MVD loadouts because they inherit directly from the BIS MVD classes (This is intended so any weapon replacement packs can work, or you can just set the weapons manually). This also means if you run ACE they will have ACE compatible loadouts. A weapon pack I recommend is Suddens excellent AK74M pack. I jumped into action to make a few missions for people to enjoy this timeless and classic piece of ARMA terrain. I originally considered making it addon dependant on ARMA 1 content addons such as PRACS or SLA addons to make the missions more nostalgic then I decided against it as most addons lacked the desired functionality, and wouldn't be compatible if users wanted to use ACE 2. The SP mission Battlefields sees US mechanised forces seizing an oil field from Takistani forces then resisting a large armoured counter attack. The mission utilises Delta Hawk's US Military Mod.   17. This only works when the unit has hiddenselections defined in the model, the model.cfg, and the addon config itself. The author probably hasnt defined or added these. Cheers.

    Nice work chairborne. When reskinning charachter models, use the nohq and the blue AS layer as a multiply and overlay layer in PS. It mades the uniforms retain a little depth. True story.

  21. Davids is at Basic at Pirbright. He is passing out in a few weeks and will be home for Christmas. Don't think hes gonner have much time for addons anymore though.

    The liscence says no backward porting. Forward porting is allowed, but no back porting.
