Hope Ive summed up what I mean in the title. :) All I need, is a basic, simple, for non scripters, (or newbie scripter) no frills, bog standard way of spawning a single unit, or a group at a definable point on the map. Called from a trigger. Not for multiplayer, not for respawning. ================================= I did use the search function, but I just couldn't find a simple explanation. I know the info is there in some of the scripts and examples from these searches, I just can't work out what it is I need out of them, (most seem to be scripts for spawning and something else. Search queries: Spawn Unit Spawn Group Basic Spawn Script The last search had This in, but, I can't make what I need out of that script. Any help would be really appreciated guys. Thanks.

lol..you know what. I watched that vid and thought to myself, if this didn't have the history and all the negativity that the "new" operation Flashpoint deserves. I would find myself quite intersted - going by the video. Of course we are talking about the kings of bullshit marketing here, so thankfully the words "Dragoin Rising" will have me putting off any plans. But, it's there...interest. Ahh...bit of a mix up there it seems. Still, it doesn't alter the fact that one would have to be a very very niave person to think that they are actual walking-around-in-the-game-screen shots. Had RR gone so "hardcore" - like crap heavy metal & concrete - that there is no HUD? Or is the player character such a bad ass he needs no weapons? Whats the player doing on the floor there? Looking at his squad mate how awsome looking he is with that a-10 flying over? The only thing that looks as if its from a game in that particular shot is the soldier model. The rest just doesnt gel as in game graphics. CM havn't built a new engine for this have they? Something so groundbreaking the background and even the gun looks like the same as the infamous publicity renders? Though I will say, if when the game is released and you can find me a part of an actual mission that mirrors that screenshot, looking that good, I will not only rush out and buy a hat, but I'll serve it with a selection of caps and other assorted headwear, set a dining table up, silver service, and tuck in with a nice bottle of chilled piss to wash it down with. But, trust in CM. Have faith in thier "work", and maybe Jesus will deliver the game gift wrapped in rainbows & granted wishes trailed by fluffy bunnies, bluebirds and leprechauns all singing Zippity Doo Dah. If you want to belive those shots are actual gameplay footage, or un rendered game engine cut scenes (CWC Style), fair enough. But, given thier portfolio, scenes/images produced by RealtimeUK will most definitely not be in game. Unless CM are stretching thier definition of "in-game" to include rendered cut-scenes. Afterall, when has Helios ever been given inaccurate information to pass on relating to OFP?
