Not at all, if u have a look at my profile and statistics.. you'll see i am dumb too :) GLHF ! A server managment program, like Rcon ? Im afraid the best way to manage your server is to have admins present, or make a vote system so people are able to throw out unwanted TK'ers etc. To set up a mission to start in a spesific way(time of day, spupplies, number of revives etc) the "paramsArray" i found not to be working as intended.. so easyest way is to edit the mission itself. The params are often found in description.ext file inside the pbo. Common code of conduct if u edit a mission is to give the file a new name and note in the mission file that you have edited som material, for example the parameters for the mission.

Use template = co@40_ACE2Domination_1ID.Chernarus; Not template = co@40_ACE2Domination_1ID.Chernarus.pbo; Allso see that you start the serverexe file with the apropriate addons for the mission.

CAA1 has been updated in the last few days maybe.. or atleast the last time i started sync i got 450mb to download (2 days ago) I use Yoma Addon sync

Yes it is Celery, we are looking for all kinds of people that want to contribute to the community. The servers we are hosting now are managed by a small group that tends to play toghether, but by putting more admins into battle.no it is possible to make new servers with any purpose. We have a forum, server park and public teamspeak with about 15 000 subscribers where its possible to inform the comunity about anything and everything regarding Tv2 servers(battle.no) so i hope the community will put it to good use and make new servers and host them for the public players. All the resources are there for the taking :) The forums are multilingual though it tends to attract scandinavians, admins atm are from all over europa so its no problem to sbscribe and give your oppinions in the Arma2 section of the forums in english. I've tried to keep it as updated as possible so all can view the current information about the servers and be able to give thier opinion as such. As mentioned there is no clan/squad or team alliance so everyone are invited to join. If you have a idea or want to put up a server its possible to do so by joining the admins group by application in the forums. The organization is there with their own support group, personell department and organized admins group for server admins. The community was started in 2005, but the Arma2 section is new and added by intresst for the game when it was released.

What you need is a pillow table. Its like two things in one actually :) Underneath is a pillow made like tha saco sacks so the table on top will rest comfortably on you knees or stumack or wherever you need to have your keyboard and mouse while playing. LOL - Domination and the other missions made by Xeno are really great, and as he has stated in other treads-- maybe somone will learn from the missions he has made and make them even better (correct me if im wrong) Form the mission pack we loaded up the moonwalk mission and had a really good time on it, though the ppl joining midgame where pretty confused on what to do and where to go. But on that mission everyone joining had to join a squad, for public play maybe that was the downside to a good mission ? Donno - but if you find a server you like, then play it and get to know the players.. i do not have the privlige of joining a 40 player closed server and i dont think i will within the next 10 years or sommet..hehe. The veterans keep to them self and maybe thats the difference between Project Reality and ArmA2. If you make a mistake in PR you are corrected within the next 1-2 minutes by a veteran playing the server.

battle.no has free servers :) If Zaphod or anyone wants to develop Berzerk or another game mod they are most welcome, as long as there is an intrest battle.no wil probably supply the servers

@Richie - your vidds are great, your able to capture the game with images and sound blended with music that no other are able to :) Simply beautiful.. keep up the good work ! About movement inside buildings - its kind of annoying that i cant strafe around corners and if the new one of the new islands are going to be CQB as i picture it beeing inside buildings and clearing buildings this will be a problem compared to other FPS games (even though "you cant compare Arma to other games") Maybe its my "rifle" thats to long and keep getting cought in the doorways :P A smoother way to move in arma would provide for more action filled scenes in close quarter battle and player vs player.

I second that ! Though i reeeaaallly hope more players take intresst in the new communities popping up in the Arma community :) I have to say im so impressed by arma, it blows anything else out of the water so to speak. The possibilites are endless with this game and the community around the game are building stuff every day. Arma is by far one of the best games in the genre, speaking from 15 years of PC gaming experience

Hi there ! Im allso one of the players coming to ArmA II with the PR experience. First of all i found thh game (arma2) to be very confusing at start, and like you i playd a lot of Domination at start when i joined a public game. I allso had a few friends that play arma2 and we enjoyd playing coop for a while, but what we really needed was to kill other players so to speak :) We found the Warefare by benny to be a fantastic mode to play. It has both AI's and other players and those joining can play lone wolf or as a part of a team where there are mulitple choices to make. Unlike Project Reality you seldom have to listen to your group to be a part of the game, and you seldom get kicked.. Maybe its unfair or maybe its a good thing. I suggest you try to find a group to play with and find a good mission to play. If you choose to play online public there are som good servers around with a pretty set group of players online everyday playing them, a random game will allways have different players to play along side. Finding a few stabile servers are pretty fundemental in my eyes if you wanna play public :) Please feel free to join on Tv2 servers

It should i guess ?!?, but i noticed a significant increase in performance when puting this option to veryhigh/high. I use a 8800GTS and i dont think the setting is suppose to be very high/high when useing that card (notice turned of post fx)

Bought it on the day of release, playd it 2-3 hours and went back to Arma2... cd is back in its cover and on my desk looking at me.

Anything else i gotta do to the server.cfg or any other files to make this work? I've added all 22 values and no change to the server, it starts up at default every time. Heres my paramsArray = [1,0,1,0,5,1600,3600,30,12,10,1,2,5000,1,1,2,300,1200,1,0,0,0]; From what i can read i want no AI and starting time 0500, funds 1600 and supplies at 3600, but no dice... everything else is default
