You dont need to tell the AI where you are, they always no, i think they just like asking. As for go i'm covering, they say this when there in danger mode, you can put them back into safe mode but they will not go into safe mode if there is still enemy AI about. ---------- Post added at 12:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:02 PM ---------- I have no problem with the choppers but i use a joystick, 5 fps sounds very low, i havent played the demo so i dont know if its the same bench mark as the full game, but anyway i get 30+ on the full game bench and i wouldn't like to play with anything less.

With 200% 3d res and 10000 view?

To get the medic to heal press back space, f7 (if thats the medic) scroll down to action and click on heal that hurt guy.

I also have the 2d weapons, using arma2, oa combined, patched to 1.54

After i installed the 1.54 patch i get a (no entry 'bin\config.bin/cfgingameui/mptable.shadow'.) then i get (error compiling pixel shader psspecularalpha:0) and the then the game just fails to start. please help :confused:

I use ddr2 800mhz and i have everything veryhigh, PP is off but i can have it veryhigh, 5000 view at 1680x1050,100% 3D, 32fps and no problems with the water or in the towns, i do get slow downs but thats mosty when i'm using a scope and its not at all times maybe 10%, i play mostly online with a lot of flying off line and i use these settings and have never any problems owning the AI, so dont blame the ddr2, works fine for me GTX285 oc2 quad Q9400 2.6mhz 4 gig ddr2 800mhz xp pro 32bit

There fine on my end, a bit slower to do a full turn than say cod but that would be more a realistic thing imo, did you try messing about with the mouse smoothing in settings?

Updates going on in the background or malware, try running msconfig and going to startup and turning off the running programs you dont need.

I could never max ofp, i always got the out of memory crap when i up'd my view, as for the hardware not being in existance, i think your wrong Zipper its more down to the game not using the hardware to its best, ie cpu 60% ram 50%

My setup max's the game, i play domi, most servers dont let you go higher than a 5000 view. so online thats what i play with, that and full grass. Intel quad q9400 2.6mhz 4gig 800mhz ram bfg gtx285 oc2 windows xp pro 32bit I play with everything very high and a 6000 view when on the ground, 10000 max when flying i do have post processing off but i can have it maxed without any problems,(i just dont like the blur) i get 32 fps in the oa bench mark, i did have aa off but after i installed the beta patch i can now max that aswell :) it also let me up my view a tad Playing the game, i dont see the need for any more fps, plays smooth. I have not over clocked anything, the gfx card is overclocked but it came like that. I dont have a x52, but if you go into the game menu controls-controller does the x52 show up in there ? If it is then its customizable from there.

I had a ctd the other day and i was shocked, thats the first for me, other than that one i haven't had any problems.

My setup, bfg 285gtx oc2 1 gig intel quad Q9400 2.66mhz 4gig 800mhz ram xp pro 32bit No over clocking needed I play at max settings but with no aa and no pp( i dont need aa and i dont like pp), my res is set at 1680x1050 and i use 125% 3d res:D My view is set to 4000 when im on the ground, when im flying fast jets i set it to 5000, but i'm using 3 22" monitors and have the res at 5040x1050 and 100% 3d:cool:, when i'm flying choppers on 1 monitor at 1680x1050 i set it to 10,000(max) and 3d res at 125%(death from above mission with this view is :eek:) I am very happy with my setup and at the moment dont see the need to upgrade, my game play is very smooth running with no stuttering at all. My fps on the OA bench mark is 32 at 4000 125% 3d res and all settings maxed but PP & AA is off, a better setup is a bonus but not needed imho

Hi guys, i've been having this problem from i started to use the beta patch as a fix for crashing at the ammo boxes, I now have a new problem, but it only happens after i've been playing and died afew times, what happens is, i'll die then respawn back at base, rearm and head to the flagpole to parachute back to the target, but when i try to open my chute, nothing happens, its as if i dont have one. Am i the only one?

I love that i can turn of the windows key with my g15, no more dropping out of game in a fire fight :) the back lightings great and can be turned off, also has a mute key for the sound, the lcd screen is great, i have it monitoring my cpu and ram.

F1 F2 F3 and so on, look at the bottom of the screen if you see pic's of men, tanks, there yours to control, select them with the f keys and scroll the mouse whee,l press backspace before you select will give you diffent commands

make a new short cut for arma2 ace marksman, this is my own ("C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -mod=@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_SM) then use this for ace you still have your old shortcut if you dont want to play with mods, theres no need to update everytime you want to play ace as far as i know.
