  1. Just unlocked all vehicles and weapons in the armory and its great! It took a while but it made fun and it was definitely worth it (although I did not see any special treatment like messages etc. after I unlocked everything playable. The only room for improvements (my book): Faster loading of the objects (Can be archieved by placing them in hoovering in 2000m height or in the middle of the sea, so there is just kind of a white/blue box around them(like in the arma2.com weapon preview pictures) This would limit the loading times to (mostly) under 1 second, which is better than the annoying 3-4 seconds now (on my good system) But keep up the good work so far!
  2. 2nd: I'll send you an example config via pm

ARMACast | The Arma 2 Podcast

I listened to the full version and it was great. I like that you always have kind of "armory item of the week" award
  4. You've found some new pics while they're on your own webpage server?

Do you like the ArmA2 OA box art?

Its alright but way more professional than the community covers because it does do the job of promotion. It does transmit an urgent feel etc.

Future Expansion engine additions (Survey poll)

Such things should be in the next normal retail game installment and not "expansions".

    JCOVE Lite for free

You should get your pents, pants and take note: Lets break it down for you! Start up Jcove and see the engine, Compare it with ArmAII, it runs like a dream no tension! Jcove is like ArmA; just with an extension, High framerate=save energy, soon you'll live in a mansion! Yes its like that, its nice from the start, High framerate=less stutter, good for your heart! Realism, the performance does never drop, The physics aren't nice, but do the job! Only 2006 game you can play on a 2005 PC, Just start up the game and see, Yeah!
  8. From the lightening the CH46 does look not well placed.

    Friendly competition idea?

Thats some cool stuff! That one is nice too: Since the bullets disappear at 2500meters, we need other things than range to make it more hard. I've made the SSG 69 sniper rifle especially for this matter, its nice, accurate and deadly for anything until 800meters. Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?zv4zhityydu Lets see if YOU are able to push the boundaries, and extent the "effective" range up to even more?
  10. Hello people, it often occured to me, that I would not be able to differ if a static weapon such as an mortar is still intact, even from a close distance. The darker tone is generally hard to spot, especially when the static installation is in the shadow. My improvement suggestion would be, to change to damage model and "damagehide" the regarding parts. What do you guys think?
  11. Hello, I stumbled across an article which does describe Chinas enconomy (e.g. in 30 years it became from a third world country, a world class player) While I welcome everything, I definitely do not support their course with Tibet for example, and I am also against the death penality, which they enforce in masses. What do you think?

    Need help with key

Hello, I had to reinstall my system today (lukly everything is baked up except for the games) and wanted to install ArmA 1 and ArmA 2 again. Unfortunately I am not able to find my manual no more, so I pictured the DVD's and sent an e-mail to Morphicon, because I've read that I should do that since I've bought my version from that publisher. They refered to the 0900/1466582 hotline number which I called immediately and they told me, that they were not there for that matter. What can I do?

China's Economy Growing: Welcome change or Danger

Every single somalian I've ever spoken with, to a man, have all expressed deep pride in their country and a preference, to their own non existing system above all others.
  16. These whole models of VBS2 would look super ugly, please not! it does focus on performance and not beauty!
  17. They are also making good games and this could be one of those
  18. Hey, I do not understand one thing and wonder, if you've got a solution for it up in your sleeves. The bicycle does make a "ring" sound without having a bell. Is that normal?
  19. I like the new music in the FLIR video
  20. It looks all great. By the way, is it just me, or do trees in the distance glow?
  21. Screenshot from a regular tuesday (Note: T u e s d a y ! No weekend!). (The first one does have 92 Players) At all were 1293 players online So why are people claiming that ArmA does not have a lot of players online? Cut the chatter!

    X-Com reimagined... as an FPS.

The game is made by the same people, so you can at least be hopeful

    X-Com reimagined... as an FPS.

Again, do not speak for everyone. I mean it is not optimal to judge a game in such a manner, before it is even released. Indeed. I think the FPS way might be more appealing to a broader audience, anything else than dinosaurs from the 8bit era. (Not meant in a offensive manner)

ArmAll=no players? This is a lie!

    Exactly.

    X-Com reimagined... as an FPS.

You do not like it, other peoples do like it. Or are you like one of these black-white-asian power guys, who do not accept something different than they are, you racist? At the end it comes down to personal preference and don't call it shitty, when others don't.
