Possible to set object texture on air vehicles?

title pretty much says it, after doing some vehicle reskins on my days off school, i then tried to reskin the apache, using set object texture nothing happened tried other air vehicles too but to no avail so is it only wheeled and tracked vehicles that use this script? -

thanks for the tips on the crane, should come in handy afaik from pics, the ramp at the back is used for loading LAVs onto the LCU while at sea, so a lowerable ramp is a must :) as well as the ramp at the side the rhibs i hope to do also and also the lights, isnt there an addon that allows you to place lights anywhere you want? cant think of the name but im sure someone could help that in the config and Crash, some inside pics would be great :) and what resources do you have? cheers -

Hey guys Over the weekend, i seen this ship on the internet, HMNZS Canterbury, a sealift ship in service in NZ. Even though i stopped my projects, i thought this could be a good ship to make for arma. So i set about making it, however i wont call it the canterbury, as there are some differences to the real life ship, and i feel it wouldnt be right to call it the ship it isnt So, after making a basic model of the outside, and adding the cargo hold, i thought it needs an inside for troops, so i set about making a basic walkway system from the cargo hold, right up to the bridge. i found i had a lot of room still to play around with. so i made a big room with two smaller rooms for gear and briefing rooms some pics, from buldozer http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm180/guitaro-man/deck.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm180/guitaro-man/walkways.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm180/guitaro-man/side.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm180/guitaro-man/cargo.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm180/guitaro-man/canterbury2.jpg So what i ask from the community, is what would you add to the ship that you feel would make it a proper ship, e.g. what, and where would you add rooms, weapon systems, anything to make the ship look better. P.S. if any project would like to texture the ship, please PM me, as i havnt the knowledge, never mind the time to do that I will however get the config working :) -

you dont need someone to make a map what you want is someone to take the time to do it, besides, most maps take months and months to make...so if it seems "rushed" it well isnt -

if the backpack is on a soldier and you want to access it step 1 ) tell him to halt 2) walk behind him 3) click "open pack" (various depending on name of pack) 4) like if you are using an ammobox, take the ammo you want if you want to use your own 1) press G 2) click on the bag icon 3) select "open bag" from the bottom of the menu 4) see step 4 from above NOTE: if you have a full loadout and use your/another pack, a magazine etc. will be swapped into the pack in place of what you selected -

if you want to make another MK12 varient heres an idea i messed about with o2 a while back and put a ACOG then ELCAN on it and it looked quite nice..might be a good marksmans rifle

For this next arguement Let Arma be sex and COD masturbation (sorry maths is getting into my head now :P "let F be the function of x"...wtf :S) Telling someone who says "oh i dont like sex because you have to do this and its just awkward to find" to go and "masturbate yourself" is just giving them the easy option when you could say " why not give it a go and hey, your were going to have to pay her anyway" ( as in, hey to find out you didnt liek arma you were going to have to buy the game..hence pay her...get it? :P )

only problem i got with movement in arma oa is the fact you cant walk and throw a nade..he has to stop

yea ive come to be a bit of a good bullshiter in english tests haha keep the A4 pages coming! :D @ryguy, cheers for the offer :) (could have done with you months ago! :D ) but for now im afraid ill have to turn you down, i just feel it would be wrong to put you into all that work and i cant config the addons up for months
