  1. Nice, I love the Cobra! Just a little suggestion: the AH-1S couldn't deploy the Hellfire, only TOW. Guess the payload of 8 Hellfires is way to heavy and the guidance doesn't support laser guided missiles.

    Bayern (Bavaria) is one of two federal states still issued with green/silver Cars and green/tan Uniforms (the other one is Saarland). However the Bundespolizei is present in all states and is using blue/silver Cars and blue Uniforms. All states that have been issued with new Uniforms and Cars still have older Cars in service. This is especially true for special Vehicles like Sonderwagen (armored cars) and Command Vehicles but also some Patrol Vehicles. The bavarian USK (riot police) is issued with black Uniforms. Bavarian Wasserschutzpolizei (riverine Police) has blue/white or blue/silver Boats.

    Well, thats sad, for me at last... You really have some nice units here and a lot of stuff no one else is doing. However I completly understand your are busy with other stuff, I thought it would not be to much work but I am no 3d-Artist ;) Thanks anyway!

    Hello, Vilas! I am using nearly all of your addons and enjoy the realism and detail-level. Especially the polish units are great. I don't know if this has already been reported but the ALICE ammo pouches are a bit to large and sit to low. The attachment lugs are in the lower 3rd of the pouches. I would guess they are 10-15% oversized, look more like M14 pouches currently. I really like the new US units with the LBV. I really would love to see more of them, especially a Machinegunner with large ammo pouches on belt and an Officer/Squad Leader with hipholster. This would also be a great addition to other units (Brits, Russians could use an SVD gunner with correct pouches, and so on). I know you have a lot to do and a load of requests... At least I am sure you like what you do ;) . Edit: Do you plan to add an M-17M/MD (aka Mi-171), even some western armies rented some of these (namely the Canadians for A-Stan, as well as others).

    Chechen War Russians

    In Chechnya some russian special forces used AKM varaints (and as far as I can tell still do so). Basically for the same reasons why US units reinvented M14 variations and german BW G3's: lack of punch in 5.45 and 5.56 calibers. The AKM is also very effective with subsonic ammunition and silencer. My 5 Cents ;) Great addon, by the way... High quality and variation but I would recommend to add some dirt to the uniforms, to make them look more worn.

    It works fine on my MSI X1900XT, much better than on my old ASUS 6800GT. I had some texture problems with the ASUS card and DX and was not using it anymore. Now with the MSI i reinserted it and it works really fine.

    Ok Lads, you all should calm down right now. This is a GAME. I know creating addons is work and the only thing you get in return is respect. I understand why people dislike when their work is taken without giving them the respect they earn for it. However all addons are only possible beacause of this game, wich was made by BI. Have you all asked for permission? Don't think so! Vit is doing good quality addons. He has choosen your work to make some of em as good as he can. This is respect. It means he likes what others have created. At least it keeps the community alive. I think these addons are more or less "open source" free to everyone (in fact no one could do anything about it). A good discussion is a nice and productive thing. Keep it this way! I think Vit got the point! Have a nice day!

    Advanced paradrop script needed

    I already use this script. My intention was find a script similar to HWK's parasoldiers.sqs, only with two rows of paratroopers. The advantage is that it uses the features of the C-130 (e.g. doors) and more important that the sqs is addon included. So you don't have to make a scripts for every squad jumping, because this is a lot of work plus you have triggers for each sqd to leave the plane (because you don't want all sqds leaving all planes at the same time). However I thank both of you for your efford and time...
  9. I'm sorry but I'm not into scripting yet. Since I have to ask for it... I like to make a air assault type mission with HWK_C130 (what else should I do with it?). However it takes much to long to get all paras out of the plane. I've already decreased the time between the jumpers as far as possible but it still takes too long. Additionally they jump only out of the plane the player is in, but I would recommend to have them jumping out of three planes simultaneously. And now the best (or worst if not possible), in two lines like using both doors. Basically two jumpers instead of one with enough space between them. Would be pleased if someone could tell me if this is possible at least. Thanks

    M4's for weapon Individualism

    I don't know what the use of a mag pouche on the stock is. It makes the weapon heavier and you have to move the weapon a lot while reloading. Dual mags are usable in CQB situations wich are less "dirty" than "standard" field ops and the saved time might give you an advantage. However it looks quite cool. By the way, not everything that is done in the field is usefull or professional, keep in mind that soldiers are quite lazy.

    Ah-1W - Super Cobra

    The Nam-Era AH-1 has the 19 tube launcher on the outside pylon. I think the idea was that the inside pylon is to small to support this launcher (because of space not weight). However the inside pylon has enough room for the large laucher. I don't have any links for pics but you can trust me, AH-1s were flown with configurations from 14 to 96 Hydras (4 Launchers).

    Very detailed addon Vit (as usual)! Is there a possibility that the newer versions of your Hind will be equipped with AT-6 instead of AT-2 ATGMs?

    OFP Animation Enhancement V0.5

    Well I was trained to do combat rolls as part of immediate action drills I received during my service time with the Fallschirmjäger. After firing the first round a "Deutschuss" you go prone and change your position immediately before you start engaging the opposition again. The idea is to prevent being cought by return fire so ideally this movent should be unrecognized by the opposition. Additionally rolling is a way to quickly cross the top of a hill when no cover is aviable. Then again a low profile would be preferable. I never ever had dirt in my muzzlebrake! On the other hand it is very likely that your weapon will get stuck swinning it this way especially when rolling into cover (eg bushes). I trained with US, frensh, italian and british Paratroopers, at least US AB was rolling in a similar way (to be honest we were rolling rarely). As I said I would be pleased to have it this way since I modified OFP to be as realsitic as possible and enyojed your addon.

    Very nice Locke! It works very fine with my config and the patrol anims. One thing is...irritating When rolling while prone the weapon is swung in a large circle over the rolling trooper. This is bad since it gives away the position and I think every soldier (at least we were) is trained to keep the weapon close to his body, pointing forward while performing a combat roll. So if it's possible I would be very pleased to see this in a new update. And by the way AI is using at least the crouched walk (I use a modfied version of the VME_events). However a very good addon.
