I'd say it's pretty bird:) With short ArmA airstrips it will be useful. As for the cargo - what do you think about two versions? One - for transporting vehicles, another - for soldiers? Or it will be able to do both (a small number of troopers together with tanks or APCs)?

Had you measured all destroyed houses there personally or you, like gypsy, may say the truth only looking at couple of photos? You know, that rebels can move from house to house... Moreover, they can stay in many houses and stay there in small groups. During first Chechen war about a half of chechens supported Dudayev and his guys. And not everybody in Grozny belonged to rebels. But the city was destroyed. Because army and rebels moved from place to place. Nobody will stay in one place waiting for the death of entire group. If the group of rebels occupying the building is hit by artillery or tank shells and took casualties they won't stay there anymore:) They will go to another, more safe place. That place may be hit by shells again. Why hasn't Syrian state media told civilians to evacuate cities in rebel hands? But do you know exactly that they hadn't? And do you know rebels often don't allow civilians to leave the area? So people have the choice between being shot by rebels immediately (and become the source of rebels propaganda posthumously) or have a chance to escape during battle between army and rebels.

Is it Assad's soldier's fault that they don't want to play by their enemies' rules and lose their firepower advantage? They have the goal - defeat insurgents and they may use all available weapons. Syrian soldiers are humans too, so they don't want to become cannon fodder just because FSA occupies populated areas. Everywhere (Afghanistan, Iraq) armies use all available firepower to prevent any casualties, often no matter of collateral damage. Why Syrian army should act differently? Why FSA doesn't go to open field to have a clean fight with army but uses populated area as an alive shield? Oh wait, they'll be crushed in a day and, moreover, won't have any propaganda photos and videos source (because government army won't have to storm the cities and clean them out of FSA)...

That tape is manufactured in blue color since mid 70-s (less often - in black color). It's adhesive tape made for using in electrical works mainly. But in fact it was used to be soviet-style Scotch tape:)

Please quote some official Russian sources saying it's largest deployment for 30 years and thousands of marines are included. I've seen nothing about it. Also 11 ships are slightly more than average US carrier strike group, which move here and there in Persian Gulf or other seas. As for Qatar - its officials say on public that some other foreign leaders must be executed, place a reward for it, use its armed forces for helping foreign rebels... When Iran does something similar - all free press make hysteria about horror bloody mullahs that must be vanished. When Qatar does it - just silence. Oh wait, US naval base is there, so everything is okay. As for human rights - read about Shia rights there. And can absolute monarchy be good in civil rights by its nature? Erm... Does US need to get UN permission to move its ships to Qatari base? If no, why Russia does need it for moving the ships to Tartus? Hi gentlemen, I need some help with A4tech X7-G800V keyboard. It has plenty of additional programmable keys, but I failed to make them usable in ArmA2. I want to use them together with main keys but don't know how. Maybe any of you have the same keyboard and know how to do it?

Due to recent elections in Tunisia and Egypt (where Islamists took power) and bloody civil wars and insurgencies in Libya and Iraq (and massive weapons smuggling from former Libyan army stocks to all Islamist groups across the Middle East) people of Russian federation in general and me personally think that one dictator who you can interact rather easy is far better than 1000 different armed militias or Muslim Brotherhood. I'd like to watch you saying this in Turkey somewhere in public place :D
