    What I mean is that I can't see through the glass at all, it's just plain white. The other ACOG sights work though, apart from the ones I mentioned... :confused:

    The new animations look good! Reminds me of the earlier versions of OFP where the AI would also perform similiar animations. Some of the animations could maybe use some changing though. Namely the ones where the AI looks around / behind his back. I don't think while the AI performs such animations, that they'd technically look into those directions. So imagine sneaking up behind some AI guy and it would perform such an animation, looking straight at you but won't care. :dead: That's what I'm talking about. But otherwise it looks really promising! Definitely gives the AI more life. Keep up the good work!

    OFP hosting trouble =(

    Simply press the "New" button in the multiplayer menu. After that, your friends can find you by giving them your IP. See here after creating the server: http://www.whatismyip.com/. The IP must be put in the address field after clicking "Remote" in the multiplayer menu. Note that the host doesn't need to do this - all he needs to do is just push the "New" button in the multiplayer menu.

    I just got back to newsposting at ofpr.info and posted news of the mod, here. Maybe it'll catch more attention. Most of the site staff had left to ArmA scenes so I took the control.     I just noticed that most of the buildings' windows and furniture appear to be untextured under "Libyan Objects" in the editor which your new islands come up with. I know that the mod isn't directly "featuring them", as if the new islands had those buildings, but since they're available in the editor, I thought that they should be fixed. It would be a good addition for mission makers if they had working textures. :)

    Good news, didn't expect it to be released so soon! The new islands look great, even the one with vanilla Malden vegetation. They both feel way more desert-like than the old version. Looking forward for Everon and Kolgujev too! I also had a quick perfomance test on both of them and my FPS was pretty much the same on both islands (I moved around in certain areas and noted the numbers), so no problems in that. I didn't notice much difference in the new effects compared to the previous version... well, at least as far as I can remember. But I guess the flames are balanced well enough now. :computer:

    Great news! I was kinda unhappy with the old desert islands too - the buildings and vegetation just didn't fit in. But this looks really good! Are you going to do Kolgujev too?

    Take the town for the WW4 mod

    I agree with Sudayev, it's a nice mission to demonstrate the mod and the new armor values. Normally it'd be easy to take out an entire enemy squad for an old OFP veteran like me but with the new armor values and other AI enhancements in WW4 mod, I think twice before doing it. It also forces to use cover more often. Nice job. The mission itself was pretty plain apart from the few dynamics. Nothing too special, but it was enjoyable enough to kill some time. :)

    Looks good! Nice little addition for air defence missions... or even sabotaging ones. :pet13: Is there a way to stop the rotating animation in case one doesn't want it to be performed for a reason or another?

    Good work again, though the issue about the NLI Officer's beret which I reported seems to still occur. Also, the RKI_NLI_W PBO does not add your units into West side, but rather duplicates them in the Resistance side.

    I like the new effects, but I also have to agree with Giuppo - maybe there's too much flames on hand grenades' explosions. But the other new effects are looking good! Perfomance ain't problem on my computer so I can't really give feedback about that. Are smoke grenades' smoke effects related to these cloudlets? Because I think those could use some changing too along with these. Also, would it be too big perfomance impact on lower end computers if you enhanced the bullet impact effects too?

    Looks really good! Very detailed. I like the look of the town of Lubol so far. Also, nice to see some wheat fields too, not many OFP islands had those... or at least some good looking ones like your island seems to have. I'm looking forward to it! :)

    If you want, I can fix the vest for you. Shouldn't take too long. I can send it to you via PM if you wish to have it. The vest will look 100% like the old one, but with corrected suspenders and the belt. You could make the straps by texturing them on the uniform itself, so no polycounts will be increased. This shouldn't be a problem with troops like the West Anti-terror units, because they all have the kneepads, so applying the straps on their uniform texture wouldn't increase the amount of textures either.

    Hello Sanctuary, Nice job on the mod, though it could use some more work in my opinion. For example, with such a large amount of new units, some new vehicles wouldn't be bad. I read that you're working on some - that's great news. I'm looking forward to them. But what really bothers me about this mod is the lack of variety... There are many, many different looking troops in woodland and desert versions, which indeed provides many mission making possibilities. But for me they all seem like "just a bunch of new units". The reason being that they all look too same, but just in different colors. I think you should give them some different types of vests, equipment and headgear. Maybe some other MOLLE stuff other than the interceptor vests which most of your units have. I already got enough of those in ArmA... The Everon Defence Forces addon's conscripts for example have a good looking MOLLE vest. Or if you have the skills to do one from scratch, google for RAV vest for some reference. Anything will be good, as long as there's more variation. As for different equipment, some units without helmet covers would also give a slight different look to them... shemaghs, boonies,... Some different ammo pouches or load carrying webbing would make a big difference too. I've also noticed some issues in need of fixing, mostly about the weapons... - West Army (D) Sniper has a khaki uniform instead of ACU like the others have. Seeing as you have a certain standard for the equipment of the troops (One army corp, one uniform + the accessories), I thought this was a mistake. - M24 has 20 round "magazines". As far as I know, you can only feed it with 5 rounds. - MP5-M203 has no display picture in the gear menu. - M16A4-SD has a picture of a silenced M4 carbine in the gear menu instead of the correct one. - SR25-SD has a picture of a M24 in the gear menu instead of the correct one. There are numerous other mistakes about the gear pictures related to the accessories of the guns... Some pictures show optical sights that the gun doesn't have and so on, but I only listed the most serious ones above. You should look into the others yourself if you're up to fixing them. There's quite a lot of them so it's not hard to find. Also, if I may make one more request (or an "issue report"), could you improve the textures of the ballistic vests which have camo pattern applied on them? The RES militia units for example (one of my favorite units in the mod because of their unique look), the camo on the vest looks too "thrown in". It's just been applied there without any boundaries, so the pattern goes over the load carrying straps / suspenders and so on. That's what you should improve, maybe make the straps plain colored... The belt where the ammo pouches are hanging seems to be camoed too, which should be also recolored along with the suspenders for a better look. One more thing, probably more of serious issue than above: Some of the troops who have kneepads or equipment pouches don't have any straps on them where they'd be hanging. This is especially the case with the insurgent troops - They have chestrigs without any straps, so they seem to be just glued on their shirt. It's also the case with the different special forces troops as for the kneepads - The pads aren't hanging of anything on their knees. I really hope you'd consider my ideas. It's a pretty nice mod so far and I'm actually planning some missions for it, being perfomance friendly but with lots of new units and some AI enhancement too. By the way, I see you included some of CJE's desert islands in the mod. I was wondering if you were aware of the "second version" of each of the desert islands too in the pack without the spruce forests? The mod at the moment has the versions with the forests and I thought that the versions without them would be more realistic and look better. But that's just my opinion. I'd had a lot of more ideas for new content for the mod, but I want to hear your opinion of those first. Thanks.

    How's this? That's a quick reskin which I did in half an hour. Maybe not totally perfect, but it should be a good base for recoloring after some little polishing. If you find that useful, I can send you the texture in editable format if the original authors of the plane allow it.

    It's a very nice looking plane. Good for a small nation like Nogova. The eject script, door opening and everything works all right. The only issue I noticed on it is that the left wing gets stretched a little when slowing down speed, unlike the right one. Fix that and it'll be all perfect. Also, you should mention that the BIS camel is also required for the addon. I didn't get to test the civilian version because of "invalid crew: BIScamelpilot". Are there any more vehicles in works for the NLI?

    I just had a quick try with the updated pack. The blood textures finally work, good work on that. However, I noticed some more issues on the infantry and the weapons, which would be good if fixed. The issues are mainly about the distance LODs: - Some of the FN Fals' muzzle flashes are visible from a distance and they are untextured (gray). - All the conscripts' helmets are turned inside out from a distance. It decreases their camouflage ability a little. - Missing equipment (pouches, etc) from a distance. The most noticeable missing objects are the buttpacks and canteens - Those should be added in some of the distance LODs. No need to add everything, as most of the equipment isn't as visible when looking from a distance. - FN Mag's ironsight is all white and it's impossible to aim with it. - NLI Officer's beret looks stretched. However, the NLI Soldier's one looks alright, so replacing the officer's beret with that one will do the trick. By the way, if you have good enough skills in texturing and wish to update the weapon pack, have a look at this.

    FFUR'85 (2008 edition)

    Hello, thunderbird. Are there any more patches planned to this mod? I've got some bugs to report here: - CTD when troops board the Soviet BTR-80. - Unable to find a way to enter an empty Mig-21. The "get in" action doesn't appear in the action list. - The Mig also gives an error when I disembark it. - US Blackops are able to walk through vehicles and infantry. I can walk through anything without any resistance. - PT-76's cargo animations are incorrect. - Soviet BTR-152 has US rocket launchers in cargo. - AK-47's bolt doesn't move when being fired unlike on the other weapons. - RPD's drum magazines don't have any pictures in the gear menu. - Rebel UAZ (Medic) still uses the vanilla OFP model. Doesn't look really good alongside the new, other UAZs. - Rebel ZIL troop transport truck and the ammo truck both use the same model. Not sure if this is on purpose, but now they won't be able to be identified from each other. - All the ZILs have the same license plates: "00-00-AAA", though sometimes they don't have them at all. - Both Glocks' slides are back when loaded and forward when empty. Should be the other way around. - After installing the SLX replacement pack, the flames / smoke effects of piers look like this. Every other burning effects look fine. - Bradley's TOW launcher is always lowered and covered. That's everything I found out so far. Also, if I may make a wish: I'd like to see a Command Post Carrier in the Soviet side too, a equivalent to the US M577A2. Apart from the bugs listed above, I've got to say that I'm pretty impressed about this mod. I like the bullets' and rockets' flying effects... never thought that would be possible in OFP. Looking forward for any news from you. Your work is really appreciated!

    Hello, R0adki11. Serial Killer / Rellikki here. I once fixed some issues on your addon some years ago and I can see you've listed my name in the credits too. Wouldn't mind if you changed the alias to my new one though... Anyway, nice job with the addon. It has changed a lot since the last time I played with them. There are some things though that got my attention after a quick test with them: - Neither of the NLI officers' blood textures aren't working + they always have the same face and glasses on. It can be fixed by defining the model(s) in the CfgModels part of your addon's config. - Same goes for the Highland Rangers - The beret texture seems wrongly mapped. I can see you've changed the beret from Jon Doe model pack to HYK's one, so you probably forgot to change the texture too. Notice that they have totally different texture mappings, you should have a look at it and fix it. - The boonie's texture could use some improving. It looks too plain at the moment. That's pretty much everything. Also, would be good if you changed the Reserve guys' tactical chestrig to something else. Seems too modern alongside the conscripts' load carrying webbing. Didn't you have some vehicles in the works too? I was wondering because I couldn't find them in this release and the readme didn't say anything... Anyway, nice job and good luck with any possible updates in the future!
