    Eden Rightclick Camera UNUSABLE

    Same issue here. Please let me know if you resolve it. It makes editing on my remote device really difficult since i cant rotate the camera. using a surface pro via steam streaming
  2. Do I have to initialize it in the init.sqf? Nevermind. I read the above post. Still not working. My unit name is MissionLeader. Could that have anything to do with the code? if ((typeOf player) == "MissionLeader") then { Do I still have to sync the requester module to the player?

  7. I hate to necro an old thread, but I was messing around with the Hellcat, while trying to re-create the realistic version of the British Lynx Anti Tank helicopter. I removed the DAR missiles and added the Scalpel ATGM to the loadout, through the use of TurretMagazines I made the following observations: 1 - The vehicle has no radar - cannot detect targets. Not a big deal, but I wonder if this is realistic to the Lynx Anti-Tank 2 - When the weapon is assigned to the pilot (turret = -1) the pilot cannot LOCK on targets, unable to effectively employ the Anti Tank missile 3 - When the weapon is assigned to the gunner (turret = 0) the gunner can lock onto targets - AND use his independent thermal viewer to scan - very effective 4 - When the weapon is assigned to the gunner (turret = 0) the pilot cannot use manual fire At the same time, I tried this with the AH-9 Hummingbird, in an attempt to re-create the OH-58D, with its Anti-Tank capability. I added the Scalpel ATGM to the pilot (turret = -1) and everything worked. The Pilot was able to lock onto targets and employ the ATGM effectively. Whats up with the Hellcat? EDIT - I failed to mention that when the vehicle is operated solely by the AI it will operate as intended. The AI will employ the ATGMs effectively.
  8. Bottom line - the controls are very funky. Collective, specifically is extremely difficult to judge, and entirely too laggy. Your either rocketing toward the sky or crashing toward the earth. Hovering is also very difficult, and seems too sensitive. Sadly, I think the flight model in ArmA 3 is much better.   9. Not trying to necro a thread, but I find this thread out of frustration with ToH. I've installed all of the files from this thread and the flight model is MUCH better, in regards to input lag. However, I no longer hear engine audio. Any help?

    Player Movement

    Player movement in ArmA 3 is considerably better than previous games, but is still extremity clunky. Ideally, I'd love the player movement in ArmA to be something like Rainbow 6: Ravenshield or SWAT 4, very fluid and smooth. Are there any mods that tweak movement?

    How to aim GBUs in all CAS aircraft

    It's sad, because we have all of these futuristic and high tech aircraft but not the target acquisition systems that go with them. Future tech, WW1 tactics... I look forward to a day when I can realistically detect and engage targets from my ground radar. Same goes for tanks and fire control systems in ArmA...

  14. Hello all, I'm having a screen glitch, that causes a line to run down my sceen at about 1/3 from the left. Everything right of the line runs fine, but everything left of the line is slightly laggy. Running a HP Envy with Radeon 7850HD, with all the graphics allowed to be set by the game though my Catalyst Control. Also, running the game on High Performance through my Catalyst control. I've tried overriding the game through the Catalyst control, with no avail. The only success I've had with getting rid of the glitch is to run the game at Power Save mode through my Catalyst Control center. However, when I do that, my onboard card struggles to run the game. Any recommendations?

  17. I would say that my comments are based on the gaming market and trends that I've seen in the last 15 years of gaming. How is that an unbased conclusion? I'm not sure what your mission is as a moderator, but based on how often you lock threads and silence people for speaking truthfully, I'd say YOUR actions leave a lot to interpretation. Perception is reality. Just look at the forums. There are plenty of locked threads from unhappy customers. This isn't Communist China, if BI can't take criticism from their customer base, then they're in the wrong business. You're probably going to ban me for my comments, but thats ok. I, along with everyone else will understand where you're coming from...
  18. So....about that pathfinding-fix patch? It's starting to feel like the dev's took our money and ran. Or at least used it to buy their buddies down in Greece a good attorney. Too soon?
  19. Well, thats kind of the problem with todays game market. Players get duped into buying broke games. Dev's make their money and just move on to the next broke cash cow that they can produce.
  20. Maybe we'll get a pathfinding fix as part of a $20 DLC? Charging gamers for content that should've been included in the original box is the cool thing to do these days for gamers. Just look at the rest of the game market.

    Totally agree. I'd say that a fix for pathfinding (coming soon?) will be a huge boost for the game.
  22. Has anyone gotten this to work? Is there an actual method for using indirect fire weapons? As mentioned in another thread, I've been using either a Manta or Scout drone to spot rounds, but there have been times when my Howtizer Walrus has either a red or yellow target identified. I feel like it's mostly blind fire.. Thanks
