    I've got a suggestion too. Everytime I want to change to height of an unit or object I had to enter: this setpos [(getpos this select 0), (getpos this select 1), 10]; So far, so good. But this sucks if you'll have to do it a lot of times. How's about something like that: this setHeight 10; for example? It would make mission editing a little bit faster.

    Thanks! It seems that the model is binarized. Our modder can't get a hand on it. Do you have the neccassary unbinarized files for him so he can do a proper work on it? You can take a look at our uh-60 cargolifter. We plan to make it possible to transport heavy material.

    Thanks for the new version But I won't update all my 70+ missions again unless there's a huge bug I'll find. Btw ... Norrin, have you seen the revive feature in the games convention videos of arma 2?

    I've tested the fix. The problem is solved now My AH-1Z works fine, even the one's from Sentinel - Air.

    Your fix didn't work. Well at least now all but one chopper has working turrets now. Any idea how to get rid of the "Burst is not a class error message"?

    Yesterday, we've encoutered a strange problem with AI Disabled 1.49j. Please have a look at this error message. This message occured when I connected to the server. During the game we had lots of disconnects & reconnects due to arma crashes. I wasn't the only person who has seen this message. There is another problem with disconnecting AI Disabled players which had been killed before. Their marker didn't disappear when they left the server.

    Bug or feature? We tried to capture an east officer in Benoma (normal domination 3.05) but neither the artillery officer nor the engineer could capture him.

    Regarding the 1 fps-issue I think the players had some problems using Myke's dynamic viewdistance. We'll have some tests today to prove it. Anyway the new Domination is really great. You should have seen the other players while I called in a HMMWV

    Hi Xeno, we've tested the normal Domination 3.06 on our linux dedicated server with 7 players. There were still some bugs. One player was an engineer and pilot in a blackhawk. While transporting the mobile respawn 1 he got several 1 fps-issues. Without transporting the mobile respawn everything was ok. I was squad leader of squad alpha and did the same. I had no problems at all. Another player was artillery officer. He joined my group via team status dialog. But from now on he couldn't enter an ah-1z while I was the pilot. So he left the group and then it worked as it should be. The players were confused because with one blackhawk you can't transport anything. I don't know if it's a good idea to keep this. How do you like the idea of hiding goodies? It would be nice to discover some old bunkers or wrecks with some weapons around it.

    @Norrin: Good news I've disabled the mapfact burning and indeed there was no more "explosion-bug". Using AI Disabled 1.49j two players were killed by a kamov while driving a t-72. The tank exploded, the players were killed but there were not thrown out of the revive script.

    My experiences with AI Enabled Beta 0.3 so far: - there was no dedicated server test yet - the spectating camera doesn't seem to work on my teammates (west) --> <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> _allied_side_1 = "WEST"; //array no. 42 _allied_side_2 = "RESISTANCE"; //array no. 43 .... _follow_cam_distance = 250; //array no. 32 _follow_cam_team = 0; //array no. 44 (don't know if other human players have the same problems - reviving each doesn't seem to fit like before; I was killed near a crossroad in Cayo but my AI team (within 50 metres of range) wasn't able to revive me within 180 seconds. - at one moment one AI soldier didn't seem to be able to stand up (I had to shoot + revive him) - there was no follow-the-leader bug in the first test - the mobile respawn feature would be nice - there were no revival script error messages during the game - the performance was perfect ... well ok ... it was a small mission in the south sahrani desert No problem so far anyway

    That's what I tried before It has the same effect. And as you can see in the version I had send you I've tried changing every path within your code. It's a very weird problem. I'll try renaming the glt_misc.pbo.

    Ok you are free to call me via ICQ at any time when I'm online You can check out any custom mission on our server if you wish. Every mission has got the mapfact burning running so player get hurt and screaming on burning wrecks. If I'll have to disable it I can live with it. I just need to know it in time I guess the next mod compilation update will be in late august so I'll still have some time to get this damn thing running.

    Hmmmm best thing would be to show it on our server. I hope you still have our mod compilation? Could an extended eventhandler cause any trouble with the revive script? It happended very often ... a player drives a vehicle (HMMWV, tank or anything else) ... if the car gets blown up the player dies, the revive script creates the black screen, some extended explosions are triggered via Mapfact Burning script but it would be the same if you create explosions manually via trigger I guess. Afterwards the dead player respawns at the respawn_west/east marker. His fake body doesn't seem to be created (I'm not sure about it). Once the player kills himself at respawn_west the fake body appears at the location where the player originally died. The revive script enters the camera, the player can be revived again, the camera works too, even drag & drop works. It's hard to show you. I'll try to create a video next time or we'll check it out together on our server. Edit: By the way ... you forgot to change the version number of your script I was wondering whether I downloaded the wrong script a few minutes ago Edit2: I'm still having the problem with my serverside revive that I don't have respawn buttons and camera control --> picture of it This time I replaced the old glt_misc.pbo with a new one having your latest revive within. This time I changed no path within the source code but I set up the config.cpp like this: That's really weird I can see the titleCut from the revive_init.sqf, I can see how the script is initialized, the animations are working ... but when I got shot or kill myself, I got no respawn buttons and the WASD camera movement doesn't work either. Am I doing something wrong? I don't believe there's a bug regarding this special problem.

    I know what you mean. But have you ever dealed with a Mig-15 chasing your blackhawk while you sit in it? It's amazing how the AI handles this plane - sometimes even better than the Su-34B.

    @Xeno: Thanks for the hint. It was indeed the AI version. But does it make sense to have the artillery call avaiable for every player? Guess I'll connect it to the mapfact radio operator stuff.

    Hmm Norrin, I guess there is another issue I've noticed it in 1.47 and 1.49. After getting the respawn buttons the spectating camera can't be used anymore.

    Xeno, in Domination 3.03 I noticed that every player could use artillery strikes. Has this been fixed? I would like to exchange the artillery officer with the mapfact radio operator. No problem so far. But additionally I would like to connect the ability of calling artillery strikes to a certain weapon (MAP_RADIO_W) so the radio operators can only call strikes if they carry the radio backpack. After inserting this at the beginning of the artillery.sqf it resulted in an error message Have you any idea how to fix this?

    Norrin, you don't wanna hear this, but I found something I guess most bugs appear with lots of players. Check this picture out. Is the error message related to your script? I've searched your code but the only relation I found was in drog.sqf line 23 _wep = weapons _body; This error message appeared from the very beginning and disappeared after 1,5 hours after killing an enemy infantry unit. So I really don't know if it's related to your script. Still there are some issues when dying in explosions. 2 players got kicked out of the revive script and spawned at respawn_east. Reviving their fake bodys solved the problem. Ah and as you see on the picture my drag action menu entry didn't disappear. I dragged a player and got shot. I guess it's hard to provoke this bug again because this is the first time it happened while getting killed during a drag operation. Edit: Today we played the same mission again with 6 players. The error message didn't show up again. I guess it was a grouplink issue. But it is proofed that player dying in an explosion while sitting in a car are kicked out of the revive script and be transported to respawn_east. And again, hitting ESC + Respawn + normal reviving solved the issue.

    lol Most bugs appear when lot's of players using the revive script doing the craziest things, like dying in a harrier while refueling at a civilian fuel station You should try the voice array of Grouplink with your revive script. That's kind of funny when all players are screaming on the ground. You'll find them easier, especially if they're wounded ghilie soldiers. Guess we can concentrate on AI Enabled now. Too bad I don't have VBS 2 I hope there'll be a good animation pack for ArmA in the near future. I'm still having some problems setting up the server-side revive script.
