    Nothing much to report for now as the progress slowed down a little bit because of missing spare time. However I may present the F**k ISIS outfits which will be available in the next update. Meanwhile I'm doing boring stuff like trying to fix some CDF and ChDkz uniform bugs. You can prepare yourself by downloading the great RHS mod http://www.rhsmods.org/ and the Arma 3 map pack + (optional) Arma 3 map pack island fixes! They will be a required mod for the upcoming (optional) GLT Mod Extended 1.00 and the new Chernarus missions!

    Hmm it seems like the hidden selections of the Ural and UAZ variants are not working. I can not apply another texture via script command.

    Hi there, first of all, many to the RHS team and everyone involved for creating the mod! Now Arma 3 is finally complete! Best mod 2014! Anyway I've got 2 questions about the usage of the mod. I applied one of the older Arma 2 textures to one of the choppers (using setObjectTexture). The fits perfectly as you as see here: http://minus.com/i/1a9bdtd6df6q However is there a way to disable the unit signs with a function? It doesn't quite fit to civilian choppers. Are other modders permitted to create derivates of the units while referring to RHS as a required mod in the config?

    Yeah me too. I'm currently working GLT Mod 1.24 and GLT Mod Extended 1.00, but once those versions are out, the files are ready for donation. However I won't be porting CDF vehicles as I don't have the time and the ability to do that.

    It's been quite in the realm, mostly because of technical changes inside of GLT Mod which are not interesting for the public. However in the near future there will be the optional GLT Mod Extended! It will feature the ChDkz and CDF units of Chernarus and will depend more on 3rd party mods. Anyone who dislikes a variety of 3rd party mods can still stick to the basic GLT Mod. However only GLT Mod Extended will feature A2 related armies and missions.

    Sorry don't know what that means. The compositions are just a bunch of objects which are spawned using a BIS function. Basicly it will be compatible to everything. Edit: Here's one out of many compositions: Of course I will include them in GLT Mod in one of the next release. But as they consist of Arma 3 and ported Arma 2 I can donate the final work to the CUP team as well.

Missing objects will be ported over as well. I'm in contact with kju so I might be able to deliver the first work to him soon.
  10. This addon adds the FLIR system of Operation Arrowhead to some choppers and tanks of ArmA II. You will need Operation Arrowhead to get this working. I made this because most of the ArmA II vehicles don't use the new FLIR system by default. Additionally I added countermeasures to the UH-1Y and MV-22. Each config file works separelty from each other so you can decide which vehicle will get the FLIR. Please be aware that not every vehicle will get FLIR, like T-72, UH-1D and Mi-24D. If someone wants the new FLIR system on those vehicles (or others) he can use this addon as a pattern for it. Hint: This addon works clientside only. Server admins will have to take care to allow / not allow this addon on PvP servers. It may be considered cheating because some players might get advantages over others.     No Skyrim hacking, it was a freely available 3d model: http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/dovahkiin-81734.html However there is no mention how the guy got the model. "Credits go to Bethesda" which of course they go to. But it might also be possible that the guy did the work on his own. Anyway the file up to 2 years and nobody took it down so I assume there are no copyright issues. That's the plan! I'm going to put some CDF units in A3 as well. ChDkz and CDF will both feature classic post-soviet and modern weapon layout. RHS mod will also be applied to the missions. I hope to get the first results in november.

    @Varanon: No problem. How do you handle it with the classnames? Do you keep the original A2 classnames, do you aquire CUP classnames or do you take the classnames of the authors? Who is currently leading the project? I can only participate indirectly as I'd like create stuff for my mod and simply donate it to the guy who is in charge.

    I can donate the A2 clothes to your compilation. I'm not finished yet, but if you need stuff now, please contact me. So far this has been finished - A2 civilians - A2 Arrowhead civilians (takistanis) - A2 ChDkz clothes - A2 some guerrila clothes I'm going to check out the A2 CDF and guerilla clothes as well, but I can't promise anything yet.

    By the way ... I've also planned to create missions for Chernarus + Takistan territories in late 2014 / early 2015. That's why I created the units in the first place :p Also on the radar are winter camos for the GLT units so they can be used in winter scenarios.

    Well ... after screwing around a little bit .... ... it looks better ... I noticed that a lot of model sections are using different names now. However I still don't know why the arms are looking weird as the sections now have the same names like the A3 male models have. ... enough Arma for this night!

    I'm not sure if this will help much. Even if I get the animations working, we still have the dude head :p I suppose the female model is using a different skeleton. I'm going to put it on halt until BIS is including real females in A3.

    Middle East Units! So far 30 civilian units are available (with random headgear and random eyegear) as well as 16 armed units having Massis weapons. Lee Enfield More A2 clothes are planned!
