    FFN MOD

Yeah i've got my ass kicked a few times. Will play the Hunt through again. Just playing time bomb at the moment. The hunt i enjoyed a lot. Had to be sneaky and make sure they were head shots. Wasn't easy and took a few attempts to complete. Defend yeah played it briefly and got killed by a tank. Will keep you posted, i'm playing them all at the moment. Hope you'll be making more mate!

    FFN MOD

I've been playing your missions Tony and they're great fun. Sneaky buggers, sneaking up behind me. Got to keep your wits about you at all times. Hope you don't mind but i opened up your Hunt mission and corrected some spelling mistakes and fixed the briefing. When you select >here< it doesn't move to the map marker. I've not touched the mission itself only the spelling. I completed the hunt mission but i couldn't capture an officer so i had to shoot him instead. I stood next to him but nothing happened so a bullet in the head to end the mission. Keep 'em coming Tony, great work mate.

    FFN MOD

Hi Tony, yeah i did think that, crCTI has it's own body delete implemented. But i also have VFAI_Equipment running but get no errors with that. Is there a way to disable just that function of your mod then? The error doesn't annoy me as the mod is so bl**dy good i use it all the time now. The game sucks without it. Thanks for replying and keep up your hard work mate, much appreciated. Â Update I removed VFAI_Equipment and the error seems to have gone away. Possible conflict!

Tony I'm getting this error in multiplayer playing on my lonesome on crCTI free fixed edition using FFN 0.83. temp=tr_body_list |#| select _index

    FFN MOD

Bl**dy love it Tony. I've not played ArmA for a while so i popped your little mod in and played CRCTI free edition and it was cool as f*ck! Played for about an hour and i loved the ai hunting me down, sneaky buggers too, taking cover, rolling when under fire, very cool mate. The only problem is the repetitive voices, and an error i was getting temp=tr_body_list etc etc, sorry didn't get a screenie but if you need one i'll get it. Other than that, love it. Guess you gathered that mate. Keep it up, i want more from the ai, like making me a sandwich or fetching my beer.

    Conquer the island CRCTI

Obviously you haven't played it that much. As Q said, it is far superior to Warfare giving you more control. And it's easily customizable, to which i can't stop editing it. Warfare is more like a very dumbed down version of crcti. OGN crcti is the best. Warfare should have been MFCTI for ArmA but unfortunately it wasn't to be.

Two ways, one is not cooking it properly and two is f*cking it. You're really sick if you take number two. Hope you get well soon Chammy. Lesson learned i hope. Â

    Hifi Sound FX V1.00 Released

Hi Mark I am also English, and i am proud this excellent sound mod is done by an Englishman. You can hold your head up high and be proud of what you have added to this grateful community. And you can ignore the stupidity of some of the immature, ungrateful and selfish people that are floating around the forum. I do, they make me roll over and i just can't stop myself. They make me reaslise how happy i am. I'm also glad you are considering ArmA 2, but lets hope their sounds don't suck so much eh. Mind you lets hope it does so you can improve on it.  Anyway my English friend, whatever you do or decide we will all support you and be thankful for your free time and effort, and most importantly, your contribution. Thankyou my friend. For making ArmA much more enjoyable.  I didn't suck up too much did i mark?  Jon  PS I forgot, it's my 39th birthday next wednesday so i expect cards from everyone please. Or beers if you have any!

    WGL Sound Replacement

Q I'm still getting the error with Queens Gambit and patched to 1.14. No errors without your sound mod. I can't find CA_AnimsHotFix anywhere.

    WGL Sound Replacement

Q I'm getting an error 'Addon_WGL_Sound_Replacement' requires addon 'CA_AnimsHotfix' Running latest patch and mods. When using my mod folders i get no errors until i add you sound mod folder. I'm trying to find out which folder it is, will let you know as soon as i do. Â Update: Just posted and realised it's mentioned above. I shouldn't leave my reply box hanging for so long.

    Patch 1.14 Troubleshooting

When i start ArmA 1.14 i get this error message. No entry 'bin\config.bin/cfgVehicles/HMMMWVTOW/Turrets/MainTurret/ViewOptics.initAngleY'. No mods running  Apart from units lying down under water at the waters edge and dying i don't really have any issues. Supplying my men with snorkels might help. Â

    FFAMM1.5

Thx for the link miller. Â Downloaded in 20secs. I tried like 4 times with Fromz's links and each time it disconnected halfway though. Â Now i can try it, thx mate. @Fromz thx for all your hard word and although a bit of a surprise, much appreciated. Now you've knocked off Hifi's mod from my shortcut, not an easy achievement. Shame i gotta work tonight Â

    SPON releases

@Spooner I thought i'd removed the addons i thought would do that but obviously there is another sneaky one. I tried with all addons removed and it worked perfectly. Â You can breathe a sigh of relief. Now i will have to track down the offending addon tomorrow. Will post tomorrow which one it was just for curiosity's sake. Looks cool mate, thanks for responding so soon. Â

    SPON releases

@Spooner I have the default key setup and used the none damaged vehicles but it still didn't work for me. Shift key as you said just gives me a boost turning left or right depending on the key i press. Â

    SPON releases

Hi Spooner I'm trying to use your rear mirror script but in the demo it doesn't work for me holding shift etc. Is it shift <a> or <d> or shift <leftarrow> or <rightarrow>.........?

    ROMM_IA

Man i love the addon version. I was playing cRCTI and viewing the game with the real time editor when a resistance unit was flanking and one of my soldiers spotted him, branched off then started following him. Crouched then took him out, and returned to what he was doing previously. Even taking the towns takes longer than normal. Brilliant work Rommel, Sickboy etc etc. Will you be adding a function for ai to enter and check buildings or enter and take up positions in buildings. That would be so cool. Anyway thx for improving the gameplay even more with your excellent ai script/addon. Â

JTD Smoke Effects MP Beta 5

I too would like this function as i play cRCTI and it's rather annoying having the smoke burning without a vehicle present. I had to remove the smoke addon. Shame, as it is absolutely awesome. It really does add to the battlefield. Great for missions without respawning vehcles but looks weird with despawned vehicles. I hope you consider it or create a separate config for us Warfare & cRCTI addicts. Excellent job mate. Â

    Hifi Sound FX V1.00 Released

Hi Mark III I changed the volume from using zGuba's sound edit. from soundEngine[] = {"\HiFi_sounds\c\breath", 0.5924, 1}; to soundEngine[] = {"\HiFi_sounds\c\breath", 0.0250, 1}; And for me anyway, it seems about right. My soundcard is an XFI Gamer. Â

    Hifi Sound FX V1.00 Released

Hi Mark III With regards to the breath sound i think the volume needs to be dropped a little as you can hear people breathing 100m away, give or take a few metres. Right enough about that, you have a nice break mate, all your hard work and time is greatly appreciated but rest is more important than us sound hungry forum monsters. Â

    Hifi Sound FX V1.00 Released

Thx zGuba, that sounds much better, i actuall made a version with the breath sound file from flashpoints FFUR mod by thunderbird. That also sounds pretty cool. But i think i prefer your fixed version. Â

    Hifi Sound FX V1.00 Released

Hi Mark III Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for an excellent soundpack. Truelly awesome mate, i can't stop playing ArmA now. Got back from work last night and straight on it. The atmosphere is amazing, battle sounds in the distance really give you a sense of being there, and sh*t i'm gonna die. Â If i have one gripe it's the breath sounds, the top end sounds like a steam train inside a plastic tube. Not that i've heard a steam train in a plastic tube. Â Just sounds a little unrealistic to me. I think the best breath sound i've heard was in a flashpoint mod by thunderbird84. Despite that pathetic little gripe by me, truely awesome mate. And a big thank you for breathing some life into the dull sounds dominating this excellent game. Â

    Grapics corruption

Hi guys I had terrible texture problems with my 8800GTX i was running the latest WHQL drivers, I rolled back to 169.21 still had problems, then I rolled back to 163.75 and all my problems have gone. I run everything on high 1680*1050. Could be a driver issue. My problems were even worse than the pics above. I'm running Windows x64, Intel quad core & 4 gig ram. Running beautifully now.  Oh and as for addon's I have loads of them running, and it doesn't affect mine at all. There is an addon that replaced the default sea texture by Sakura Chan, it could be that if you had it. It was with the Proper Mod. Addons name PROPER_Effects_Damage_And_Sea_Texture_Replacement_Sakura_Chan.pbo
  24. I have to agree with mrcash, i have Vista Home Premium SP1 x64 and it runs just as good, if not better than my XP Pro x64 on dual boot. And i hate Vista, but i'm slowly coming round to it. Â Running 175.16 on Vista x64 and 169.21 on XP x64 as the 175.16 on XP x64 gave me some trippy display issues. I thought my card was overheating....Asus 8800GTX. Works a charm after rolling back to 169.21 on XP x64. Â

Arma feedback thread - based on 1.14

Thx for clearing that up Maruk, i've been playing ArmA since release and i never realised that. That explains why my weapon vanishes after a while and not instantly. Â Now just hurry up and release ArmA II...........
