    Unfortunately we don't want 'some cases', we want the AI to perform every time. So either BIS modify the AI to be able to drive properly, or they change the maps so that AI cannot possibly fail! Don't get me started on them mowing down our own troops !

    ^^ that is just hilarious and SAD at the same time! A 'this is NOT cover' tag on items would be great. OR a change in the engine!
  3. ^^ I think WWAI allows multiple AI to simultaneous clear different rooms (from an initial start point) I don't think they smoke or flashbang their way into rooms but wouldnt that be nice *COUGH*

    Will do ... also looking at automedic scripts that will cause your AI medics to heal wounded (but not dead !) soldiers :) EDIT changing it to 3 didn't work. Also tried not touching role selection (all AI enabled slots) but still die and it says teammates 0/1 and therefore I get the respawn dialog :( This is still with Farooq's on a dedi server.

    Cheers mate. Will test in an hour. These changes are very welcome and thanks for all your hard work! EDIT: FAROOQ'S revive version - first test - disabled all the AI enabled from role selection, got myself some recruited AI and went into battle - got myself killed and immediately 'mission failed' all players dead :(

    Oh I forgot to say .. all my testing is on a dedi server with me joining as a client. EDIT: Not convinced that this REAP3R revive is doing what it should :(

    woohoo ... testing now EDIT: OK a bit of testing here. If you disable all the AI player slots (but recruit your AI normally) then the player revive doesn't work. Further EDIT: It seems that even changing NOTHING in role selection that it says 0 teammates alive (when I get killed - even though I have a full team of the AI enabled team). On respawn fatigue is then enabled (even though off in params). I CAN get the revive to work IF I use AI enabled in the role selection, I then recruit my OWN AI (so now I have a team of around 8! HOWEVER my body disappears into the ground before the medic can get to me :(

    Cool stuff Kaysio. Does the AI revive work flawlessly? I've seen it working for unfriendly AI too (within a certain timeout)... now this is awesome and you HAVE to double tap into the enemy heads otherwise they could come back :) EDIT: Just saw this on Armaholic .. could be useful ! http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=31479

    Now I'm not a modder but is there anything that could be done in the models, or the config to get a solution (not an immediate solution but one that COULD be developed)?

    Putting in multiple revive frameworks is quite a bit of hassle mate (even if you use params). I think the goal is to have AI revive for more realistic gameplay - I've found Farooq's to do just that. Not tried R34P3R one. Regarding the HC ... the commander needs to be able to spawn quite a few rifle squads - perhaps an option (commander only) at the Recruit area ?

    You'll have to think about the respawn system when using an AI revive however - for instance only when all members of your AI team are dead (or your medic is) then the normal respawn comes up. Any thoughts on the commanders high command ?

    Well the more we complain about it, hopefully they will listen. They have done so in the past. So a list of what we need ..... Chain link fences are NOT cover, Placeable sandbags ARE cover!

    Farooq's revive is very nice and seems to work well in other scenarios. No bugs seen so far ingame - mission looks good. Damn buggers on roofs is great !

    Thanks ! EDIT: Had a good go at it and liking it so far. It would be useful if the commander could also recruit AI to go and clear areas - something like High Command ? Also going by road now is easy ... *COUGH IEDS?
