You can set your own personal waypoints using SHIFT + LEFTCLICK on the map. Works PERFECTLY and was long overdue !

Dont think there is much wrong with the flight model or throttle. As long as you know that airspeed will bleed on turns then you compensate for it. Never had a problem flying any of the aircraft in A2 and only the original A10 in A1 was problematic. In summary - fine as is.

I too fly the JET aircraft in the correct manner (without a joystick!). Pulling back the mouse to climb, pushing forward to dive. I have to manually go into the options every time I change from flying jets to infantry. I keep the flight control untouched for flying helos - yes I'm perhaps a little wierd! Is there an EASY way to reverse my pitch controls when I am flying jets that wont interfere with my normal control for helos or infantry ? Or do I have to keep going into the options?

Once Xfire is updated to allow Arma2 then there will be no problems.

Haven't had any trouble that you guys speak of with the exception of ONE yellow chain. I have been playing A2 in MP constantly since I got my hands on it and it has proved excellent. I'm not sure what to say to you guys but examine your rigs closely, check packet loss from your ISP and try to find servers with very low ping. Please don't be put off this awesome game. It is WAY better than A1 was and is even now.

This was also a bug in Arma1 when random troops were put into command. I THINK one way to rectify it (please correct m e if I'm wrong) was to select yourself then press ready (F1, 5, 0) Hadn't the bug for a while so my memory may be fuzzy. Hope that helps

How many of you noticed that, with arma, we had hundreds and hundreds of servers playing lots of missions with only a few people on each? Would it not give a better arma2 experience to have only a small number of servers with only a few missions on each ? So although its nice of people opening their servers to all players, should be not have demand>supply first? Or am I talking out of my hat ? What do you think?

I'm getting something very similar trini scourge with almost identical hardware. Lots of people have been posting results but no solutions to low VM>SM rates. The game plays pretty well for me however. I'm getting 25-30FPS everywhere.

Yes, while it's great that others are posting results, we need experts that can give advice as to how to increase them.

Just the one card and mobo is an ASUS P6T Deluxe... gonna check that I'm not running in 4x mode. Will check drivers etc .... but it DOES seem a little on the low side !
