I'm crash whenever I attempt to save my progress in this mission. Yeah I get an error sometimes saying "ArmA 2 - Cannot Commit". Sometimes I don't. I've never got this on any other mission. EXCELLENT mission though, having a blast. -

Alright, after some testing and playing around with it I've seen a few bugs. 1: If I shoot down a plane a smoke emission spawns in the air and smoke comes out of midair. 2: Fire doesn't hurt you, although I'm not sure if this is supposed to be in the mod or not. -

Same card I have, no issues aside from the explosions cutting out etc. Everybody has that though. The rapid fire sound bug was fixed with latest beta patch.

I'm running everything maxed out, medium AA, and both resolutions at 1680x1050. My problem with performance is primarily due to CPU. AMD Athlon 5600+ 2.8GHz 2x1MB lvl 2 cache isn't enough. If I put everything on lowest settings I get same FPS as highest settings, minus AA, where I get more FPS with it on medium. ---------- Post added at 06:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:41 PM ---------- Speaking of Anti Aliasing; why is there a number system next to the "low-high" settings for AA? I don't think it's the sampling rate, as they just add one number between.

I dunno, but in the ArmAIIMark (ArmA II Benchmark utility) I get better frames with AA enabled. Better frames as in ~+10 FPS. Also in the main menu when I'm circling the LHD same thing.

Yeah and then the V-22 Osprey turns too sharp to control sometimes... it kinda makes me lol.

We saw a plethora of effects mods for ArmA from madmatt and DMarkwick as well as some others. Can we expect to see these mods upgraded for the new engine released for ArmA 2 in the near future? Is anybody working on any effects mods for example smoke and/or fire?

I miss the commander menu from ArmA 1. It seems there is no way to command your squads now in ArmA 2. I can't believe they took it out. I read the manual and everything, no mention of it.

In ArmA as a team leader you could give a whole team the objective of defending your base. How do you do that here? I know how to command my individual team.
