I see, perhaps the Steam store is going to have this closer to release. Did ArmA II or any of the expansions/DLCs have a Japanese version?
-
I've no info on languages, but the Japanese market is very specific, so I think Japanese/English selection on a single copy is a good deal. Which version are you looking to get? Can't help you with the price either, heh-heh. ---------- Post added at 03:09 ---------- Previous post was at 03:07 ---------- I think only a European retail version has been confirmed at this point - a German publisher AFAIK, should be out in the big-5 Euro languages. Not sure about Steam A3A one - is it English only? o.O
-
The exchange rate isn't that high, are you getting slapped with some sort of import tax? Australia is truly upside-down. :cc:
-
Regional versions will still be activated thru Steam, since this is a Steamworks title - the only difference would be in the language. Otherwise, I'd expect flawless compatibility.

It's £59.99, correct in USDs tho, http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?122794-ARMA-3-development-blog-amp-reveals/page461&p=2304085#post2304085

What mod's/missions do you want to see in ArmA 3 Alpha?

Warfare for the whole of Stratis -- even those 12 vehicles will do! -
Simply awesome. "But the oaks can't help their feelings If they like the way they're made. And they wonder why the maples Can't be happy in their shade."
-
If VALVe wanted to send more traffic to EA's Origin, they could do that.

ΜΟΛΩΠΛΑΒΕ! ---------- Post added at 01:33 ---------- Previous post was at 01:32 ---------- It's only available for purchase starting March 5th, so eh...
-
Oooo... profit! Are gifts actually trade-able on Steam? :D Like in a single transaction kind of deal - "I give you mine, you give me yours - both agree = profit", and not "I'll give you mine, you promise to send me yours some time later?"
-
The rear axle looks... vulnerable. :cc: There may be a ton of armour on this thing compared to a BRDM-2, but shoot those wheels off and - LOL.

There's a possibility that one of us could die in our sleep tonight. Scary, huh? They are protecting themselves against PETTY lawsuits and minor complaints, that would severely damage their business. You won't believe what ignorant/arrogant/"I-paid-£29.99-thus-entitled-forevermore-to-damage-a-company's-imagine-with-libel-whenever-I-FEEL-like-it" people the world over sue for nowadays.
-
We're mentioning lawsuits and the Rule of law, because you have already assumed that 1 week into ArmA 3 Alpha's release, your account(s) are going to be seized for whatever imaginary reason you might currently have. Be reasonable.
-
That's... kinda been confirmed. That's what they meant in the Steam announcement blog by "Steam exclusive". GNight everyone -- I'm counting down the hours to D-Day. :cc:

Arma 3: Confirmed features | info & discussion
Iroquois Pliskin replied to Maio's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Uh, oh. AWESOME! Secession! Independent resistance, since the mainland has fallen, etc, etc! Heh-heh. -
It's a separate Steam gift that will be credited to your account, you can send it to other people - once received, they will have full access to the content that this cdkey provides, along with being able to immediately start downloading the game, i.e. ArmA X Series.
-
Is that 170 kB/sec? If this speed is constant, it will take you 11.4 hours to download 7 GB.
-
What's your download speed? The data should be around 7 GB. I used to push 20 GB files on 0.1 Mbit connection back in 2000. :cc: Took me weeks, was worth it. Do the same!
-
That's alright, I'll wait for another urban legend to come up in the meantime.
-
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8963-EIKC-3767 Issue resolved I take it? No similar business will refuse you to open multiple accounts.
-
One Steam key I'd imagine, it should contain all of the bonuses/Gifts/invites in their system.
-
"Proffffffit", as Teladi would say. Altho, hardcore abuse of this would lead to repercussions I'd imagine, like crashing several servers for a week straight with your 5 accounts.
-
QFT Heh-heh, people never read their CONTRACTUAL agreements, do they? Well, at least Steam is educating the general public - that's a very big plus.
-
Yeah, all digital & all upon release of ArmA III retail/full. http://www.arma3.com/buy?#arma_supporter
