If you look it up, 90% of military transport helicopters do not actually have a forward glass bottom, or bubble. They do have what the GhostHawk does have, which is a bottomish side window. It does give you enough to see. Also shown here, my first attempt at landing, on a hill, by rocks in first person. Quite a success. But, one thing you must notice in this screen shot Is the size of the nose on the front of the stealth hawk. Due to its size, and also its nature of being a Stealth Hawk.. I do not see a way to remodel this bird without completely redoing it. edit/ I must also add, I'm flying with a keyboard and mouse, without track IR or anything to help. -

Honestly, if you watch your angles and know the size of your bird it really isn't dificult to take off, fly, or land in first person. Keep an eye on your instruments showing your forward, side to side, and backwards movements while landing.. that will help. But also only pick spots big enough for a bird that size, and due to its size it shouldn't be landed in cramped tight areas. -
I find the new community that has flocked to this game, the joke. To be honest, there is some limited content on weapons/vehicles... does that upset me? No. Does that make me happy? No. But I know, BIS will add more content over time after release. I'm not an impatient little kiddie that wants everything NOW broken or not. Until they add stuff, community made content will do. And Altis, fantastic looking island.

It's also laughable when people freak out, or treat the game developers like crap. They aren't a money grubbing company like EA, they sold us this game at a very cheap price (for people that purchased the alpha, and beta). They will continue to improve before and after release. ArmA 2, Arma, OFP... none of these games had 'FANTASTIC' content, nor was any of it stable at launch. ArmA 3 is the most polished game in the series, and after release it'll be even more polished with things added over time. But hey, go ahead and feel like they owe you so much more then they actually do. Go right ahead. Everyone has an opinion.

I obviously didn't mean it would be the best most polished game released... but it has obviously improved a LOT since the beginning of the alpha, and they are continuing to improve until release and after. I'd rather they improve, miss out on a couple vehicles and just have them released after launch... like a birthday present every time they add more content after release in patches! Not like ANY ArmA game has ever been about the vanilla content in the first place, thanks to mods.

I believe we will see more jets AFTER release. It's understandable they are focusing more on features, quality, and optimization/bug fixes at the moment. Why release a broken game with tons of stuff, when you could release a beautiful working game with a few things missing and to be added at a later date?

They would obviously have to rework PiP monitors in vehicles to include the filters, zoom, and everything else. It would match the real life counter-parts. More realism, the better immersion.

Honestly, they should rework the camera view when in the gunners seat... take away the 'Optic' ability... and force the gunner JUST to use PIP. But I know some users machines can't handle PiP so probably not possible. Oh well.

My biggest nightmare was seeing my mams -----* removed for the sake of me :/  my mates still to this day take the mick... lol Anyways.. Oh noes, hurrican.. and hes busy after sunday, gives him one day  anyways ive said i do configs, made a few addons here and there myself. Just give me some info and ill see if i can accomplish it. I didnt no configs were that hard lol. Well, we aren't just changing the sounds of the guns. So there's some special things we are configing lol. shhhh! -

hurricane ike is kinda holding us for today guys. try looking back here tomorrow. But seriously, the mod is done, the config is almost complete, but our configer is bracing for hurricane ike... just a couple more steps and its released. We are pretty sure its this weekend. edit:1/ we might be able to get a different config up and going, for a MAYBE like one out of a million chance to get it out tonight if we did that. Any one that's a configer want to throw a hand in? We wouldn't mind the help. -
