  1. Background Hi, I believe I've run into a bug with the game not selecting the default microphone device upon startup and resetting it after each transmission. This occured on game version 1.2.0.98 (haven't tried mic postpocessing apps before then). Since the volume on my SteelSeries Arctis 3 headset microphone seems really low ingame for some reason, I've run it through the SteelSeries GG app's Sonar module to boost the gain and use noise cancelling and echo reduction (it basically takes input from the regular mic device and creates an output device). The output mic is set as the default device and default communications device in Windows 11 audio settings as seen below: Default devices: What Arma starts with: What I can see in Sonar: Repro steps After I change the microphone via the system sound mixer to the regular device, and then back to the SteelSeries Sonar - Microphone I can see that the app picks up that Arma is using that device now: I can then talk to others ingame and the feedback I get is that the voice quality is way better, but as soon as I let go of the PTT key, the Sonar app stops showing Arma Reforger in the apps using this device, and the next transmission I make is again nearly inaudible to others. It seems to use the device I've set for the first transmission, and for any subsequent transmissions it likely reverts to using what it started with. I've compared this behaviour to how Squad handles the microphone, and with that game I can see in the app, that the game is using the correct mic from the start and it doesn't change upon making any transmission. At this point I'm quite convinced that it's some sort of game bug, so it would be nice if one of the devs could take a look into this.

    Advanced Combat Environment

I'd suggest making versions with RACS seperately, for 16 and 32 players. That way you can still have some fun with little players for a fully PvP mission.

I guess that would only force you to join a server with a bunch of friends;) And BTW a 64 player version is I think too large, as most servers can barely hold 32 players on this mission, some even crashing with 16. The idea of making a special version of Warfare for ACE is certainly interesting though and I'm looking forward to playing it.

Nobody mentioned that it's the status of the beta version

The screenie with the Seal units : is one of them using hand signals? And is it implemented into the commanding system or it's just a casual animation? This is when waiting becomes a torture, keep up the great work. The community's eyes are set upon you
  6. I voted on modern warfare, but I'd be more interested in some nice fictional Cold War scenarios. For example a campaign on Cuba during the Cuban Crisis, or fighting in Germany against the Soviets (or vice versa). A campaign based on Tom Clancy's ''Red storm rising'' book would be awesome. Sahrani wouldn't be suitable for that though, it just doesn't fit in that era in my opinion.
  7. Many small things can break the original OFP missions if you change them. For example the Carl Gustav recoilless rifle was like a guided missile launcher in OFP. (Question to the CWR team) : Do you plan to make it exactly as it was in OFP? And just btw, great work out there, I'm really looking forward to play this mod

    Project REAL ArmA Realism Mod

This mod sounds quite interesting. One thing I'm curious about is if you are planning to work on some vehicles for the SLA, maybe a T-80 to compensate the newer M1A2 on the US side. There is a system for automatic counting of the required gun elevation for hitting distant and moving targets, which is under development. Adding it to your mod, when it comes out might be a good idea. I'll add a link to the forum topic once I find it. I hope you'll find some people to help with the work, and make this all possible.
