    Is it possible to change the class of the units at the start/spawn, which are linked to Game Logic CTI_WEST? Changing B_Soldier_F to B_mass_usr_Soldier_F_v doesn't work, although all class-names have been replaced in all files & directories. Buying from barracks works correctly. Any idea's?
  3. I liked the blood, not the dragging, lying wounded and gibs. What I did is open op slx_wounds; edit XEH_PostInit_Once.sqf, and there delete the things I don't want.

    This is a cool mission to play, quick action in an urban area, Exactly what I like ! oke a few ideas, The possibility to set the amount of vehicles is very handy, perhaps make a difference here between heavy & light If you have map off in settings (on ded. server), it would be nice to have a parameter to enable team AI dots, and/or yourself on the map , a parameter to set body-removal time and perhaps a possibility to disable/reduce snipers? Anyway, a very playable mission, good work !
  5. if using SU, and a dynamic preset with latest beta, with cba/asr_ai and tpcw_ai loaded, I get an error in the editor if placed a group, and a player as me. now, using another launcher, it works without error? same files, beta etc.... Any idea what's the cause of this? aargh,noFilePatching was not selected! I should've checked :)

  7. another way to improve teamplay, is to make fatique / stamina dependent if teammates are in the area. , and a parameter in the mission, which can set the range / ratio.

  10. Very nice set of missions, but one question, In aaw_oa it contains inko_disposable.pbo, which is a nice addon. But it conflicts with ace, and also creates Bouncy/spinning empty tubes. Unfortunately removing this addon gives an error. What's the reason to included this addon as a must have in the aaw_oa pack?

  12. Nice work on this benchmark suite! Since it forces high terrein details, and also VD, maybe make it enforce all in game video options, and create .bats for a few different resolutions?
  13. maybe also use gamebooster from www.iobit.com, so your sure not something running in the background is causing stutter (in my case it disables 34 services, and clears up 500mb memory)

    OA 1.55 server issues (linux)

    Thanks a lot for your reply HitmanFF! It put me in the right direction and now it's solved! Just some info for others who might have this problem. I had 2 directories expansion -battleye and Expansion -Addons -BattlEye -beta -Dta -Keys -ijl15.dll it's the problem with upper- and lower case in linux. (iám pretty new to this OS). if I made a directory with only dta (lowercase) (and the files) in expansion, it worked but I had a yellow icon. also running ./server -config=server.cfg -cfg=arma2.cfg gave errors but it worked. not satisfied, I copied all directies and files from Expansion to expansion, and made sure the directory names were lowercase. no more errors with ./server and a green icon! Now I have the files double on the HDD, so just merging expansion and Expansion works with just making the directorynames lowercase

    OA 1.55 server issues (linux)

    I have transfered Arma2 CO to linux, without modifications after login as admin in terminal, I do as in readme, tar -xjf a2oa-server-1.57.76934.tar.bz2 ./install ./server -config=server.cfg -cfg=arma2.cfg but also, if I modify arma2oaserver with the correct lines it doesn't work ./arma2oaserver start (check/status shows it should be running but it isn't) All in all, it gives the same errors as mentioned in OP. But in the same way installing a2-server-1.08.76257.tar.bz2 it runs without problem. Although information here may point to the right direction, I can't find the cause of the error! Could someone please explain why does the oa server gives those errors, and what was done to fix it !?

    Arma2 dedicated server howto

    Whatever I tried with settings, with windows dedicated server I couldn't get it lag and warping free. Basically it was pretty bad, also close-up. Now I tried with Linux (mint) on a old laptop as server, and although not powerful enough for bigger missions, the lag and warping very much decreased with AI, as long as the server fps is sufficient. edit...reinstalled and also with windows dedicated server warping &lag is now far reduced in LAN used settings: MaxMsgSend=512; MaxSizeGuaranteed=512; MaxSizeNonguaranteed=64; MinBandwidth=30000000; MaxBandwidth=70000000; MinErrorToSend=0.0025; MaxCustomFileSize=0;
  20. it's always something, 580 gtx nvidia with good driver support would be perfect for arma, but it doesn't have all the audiocapabilities which you see in cheaper cards. duh..

    Hey folks, Just ported crCTI KB Kastenbier Edition on Fallujah City. Didn't bother to make random respawn points, so 2 fixed respawn points, north & south, and 10 flags to capture. Best to choose a slot below, and let AI commander build the base. *Able to buy units away from base *Able when you have a squad to use unit-switch. *Able to select the number of flags in mission parameters edit updated to version r76. this version now with full random respawn points around but close to city, and with 50 flags to capture placed in the city.     VACbuilder Arma 2 profile.

    Hi Jojo I didn't thought you could improve much on your old profile, since it was almost perfect, but you did! Had a go with it, and it's so extensive. It's simply fantasic to play with the new speed, and the changes and additions you made are very good, like the move now, command move, and to add the markers. But also a very good readme and some nice videos, which explains a lot! Big chance I overlooked, but I havent seen autohover, and switching to the next/previous group with SHIFT-F11/F12 I couldn't find. Perhaps you could include the admin commands to make the profile complete, and get out and eject don't have default controls in arma. Maybe you could include these in the profile & readme? It's very big profile, and I will get back to testing later this week! ;) PiLfIuS users are missing out on a great profile :D
  23. This program makes it really easy to setup a server, and works like a charm. Thank you! Your future plans sounds also very interesting, like a realtime rpt checker. Since you asked for ideas in the op, a few suggestions came to mind, * a counter if a line gets repeated in rpt. So, only see 1 line max with a counter, and no duplicates. This way you see in a glance the problems * a option to pin the rpt live window on the desktop (foreground) * a option to clear rpt after x starts automaticly * a way to change the order of the addons which are loaded. And finally, but important? an expansion of the tab missions. Don't know how exactly it should look, but a way to set a 10-50 parameter names and values for each mission.
