ive just plugged my BUSH TV into the computer at 1360 by 768 at 60hz and i tried running arma2 and i keep getting this message on my tv saying run computer input at 1360 by 768 at 60hz, and it just goes black while displaying this message. I can run other programes but not arma2. Am i over looking something ? Graphics card is a nvidia 8800 gtx btw Thanks Ben

right, i tried running the game in 640 x 480 (the one that can be applied in properties) that didnt work, so i cant change the settings in game. I tried putting the command prompt in that didnt work. I have changed all the computer settings (in nvidia and control panel) to 1360 x 780 and that still hasnt done anything. I can run call of duty but not arma2 Can anyone shed any light still ? as for my usual diplay setting i think it was 1240 x something, (i forgot) Thanks Ben

Im having the same issue as FANATIC172, racs troops are being shown instead of resistance troops, and also i cant play the CWR campaign after the mission after malden, i also found i cant play the resistance campaign because it said, missing or deleted addon resr_guer.pbo. Great mod other wise, really enjoying playing the old days again. :D

I have armed assault and queens gambit. Patched to 1.14, but when i come round to installing the 1.15 beta it says "current version is 1.12 cannot install" I tried patching to 1.14 and it said that it was already installed, also in my computer/ program files/ arma ; the version is saying that its at 1.14 Any Ideas ? Im asking in here because im sure some of you will be able to answer my question as alot of you know what your doing with computers. Im currently looking for a peice of software which can take an audio track and seperate the music from the lyrics. Is there a peice of software that does this ? Whats it called if so ? And is it free ? (im cheap alright) All help is most welcome. Cheers

After playing ArmA for a little while say 10 - 20 mins i start to notice red patches appearing on my screen, it appears on any objects and is really noticable, once it has appeared in the game, when the loading screen for ArmA appears you can see it on there, and it is also on the menu where you choose what you want to do e.g single player , multiplayer ..... I think i may have seen this red patches on my desktop aswell after quitting ArmA because of these patches ! I my self have no idea what they could be and have never experienced these on any other games or in any previous patches but it has only started occuring latley Specs: Celeron 2.80ghz CPU NVIDIA 7950 GT with 512mb memory 2 GB of RAM running at 1024 x 768 at 60hz All help is appreciated Thank You

mines never rebooted either celeron 2.80 ghz cpu 2 gb of ram 7950 graphics card 230 v power supply windows xp i can run my settings on high to very high with good frame rates aswell

does anyone think that a medical black hawk is a good idea ? i saw one on the news yesterday and thought that it would be a good idea surely all that needs to be done is a reskin and given the option to heal people, then when in game it can circle around and "support" troops on the ground

i couldnt find the bug tracker to post this on and im not sure if anyone else has found this happening but most AI starting in water have no weapons when they get out of the water, they only have a side arm if they are equipped with one. doubt its just my arma and not sure if anyone else has discovered this but just thought i would give out the heads up

i opened arma today after getting my computer back from the shop where it was being upgraded, i then patched it and ecstatically enjoyed playing the game !! but then after playing for a few hours, my players uniform turned one blank colour and looked just like the model of the unit ( like a soldier model in 02) i kept playing but then other soldiers round me did this as well and then sounds and the game started to pause for a second then play again this was quite annoying i have not played since then as i thought i would give my card a "rest" ive got 2 gb of ram and a 7950 GT with 512 mb memory im running on xp and most of my settings are on high running at 60hz and 2480 x something as you may be able to tell im not very experienced with computer parts so ive helped you as much as i can but does anyone know what could sort this problem out ?

how does the card (nvidia 7950) run arma ? and which patch is best to play arma on with the 7950 ?

nice one im just now hoping my cpu will allow arma to run well i now know from your responces that the card will go well with arma and with 2 gb of ram my cpu is from 2000 the same with the processor and if they're the same thing im sorry but i dont know nothing about the insides of a computer, i was just trying to find out if my new card and ram would make the game look good and run nicely

could anyone post a picture of what there arma looks like using the 7950 ? im doing this to get an idea of what mine will look like when i get my computer back from the shop where the cards getting fitted thanks in advance

cheers fellas but what patch are you using cause i know some people use 1.05 rather than 1.07 cause of performance what do you 7950 users find better ?
