Sides in OPF, A1 and 2 were pretty equal but not meny gadgets like flir etc. So I prefer "Conventional with modern equipment".

More zeroing option for weapons and vehicles.

I tried some mods that add zeroing to acog weapons but I have to say that I prefer to have it fixed on 300m or so for ironsite, aim and acog sited weapons. However, I agree on vehicles. There are some rifles from arma 2 though, like DMR and Mk12, that should have zeroing. -

Yeah, I actually voted for this mod. Its something new, fresh, different to any other sound mod. Plus its very modular. Keep up the good work.

I would suggest something that is more of a feature. If you have ie. this addWeapon "M4A1" in the init of the unit, unit should then respawn with this. I guess init lines would be transfered into next spawn. Would that be possible? Maybe a toggle button or command to enable/disable this. -
Hi guys! I tried harvest red the other day again in 1.08/1.55 and I found few bugs that eventually change the course of missions. Same thing happened in 1.07/1.54 as well. First on LHD I chose I will do the training. I go over obsticle course and come to firing range. Seargent tells me to pick up rifle from crate and get ready. The problem is that gear option does not appear. Same problem with skeet range. So I decided to skip the training and went to Maddox. Next problem occured when miles tells you to take laser designator from huey and gear option again does not appear which spoils next mission... cannot designate for airstrikes. I tried without any mods and same thing happens. Is anyone else getting this problems? Is this maybe a known thing that I am not aware of? I would make a ticket on CIT but I want to make sure its not only on my side first. Another thing. I tried some secops and when flying in huey to LZ I cannot open gear menu as well. It was stock A2 secops, not edited. So maybe this is related somehow.

OK if you like to play in range from 25 to 50. Personally I prefer to have performance over looks. I had 9800GTX before. Same res but my settings were something like: VD: 1.6-5 km (depends on what you are doing, inf, air...) Textures: Normal Video memory: Normal (as far as I know this should only be on very high if you have like over 1gb vram and 9800gtx has 512) AF: Disabled AA: Disabled Post P: Disabled Terrain: Low Object detail: Normal Shadow detail: High (or normal if you have really good cpu) I found that PP, AA really kill this gpu and probably other gpus as well. With settings like that I was getting 60 to 100 FPS which was then fully playable. Oh, except chernogorsk of course. Still the game looked amazing. So overall I dont find 25-50FPS just fine however others obviously do.

OK I tried ACCN sounds. First of, when you are shooting a rifle, any rifle, from 1st person it sound like the gun is like 20m away. I, personaly, like Woody Clear more. This may sound more like you tube but woody clear deffenitely sounds more "realistic" (as in volume and how it echeos) and immersive. Thats my take on it. Thanks for all the hard work though. Oh and I think I will keep DMR/M14 sound from ACCN.

I agree Dwarden. That sure is the problem. You just cant have CoD and ArmA in same list. A2 is PC only and not only that. You need to have pretty good computer to run it. On the other hand theres CoD with milions of consolers. -
I see AK74 has zeroing while M16 for example does not. Is that a bug or is it there for a reason? AK seems to have quite heavy recoil up and to the sides as well. Im not sure that AK has so much more recoil then M16 since the cal is nearly the same. Just my thoughts, not an expert here. I see that weapons have custom sound which is good becouse CWR1's initial sound was a bit so so:). I love the commando guy in bomberman, nice balaclava. US officer has woodland camo hat, not sure if that is intentional.

With "Fixed Range Nightvision v0.7" addon you can adjust the brightness of NVGs, you may want to look at that. Dont know if ACE NVGs do something more or better though. -
Very Strange Performance Glitch

Look for Time Acceleration in Options > Controls. Default is + and - (one key right of 0 or 2 keys left of Backspace. Ingame you can set time to up to 4x. Try to use +/- keys to adjust "speed of game". This only works in Single-Player/Editor. I this doesnt help try making a LAN game in MP to see if its the same.- 3 replies

Is there any difference in Arma II + Arma II: OA and Arma II: CO?

There is separate MP for ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead. Most servers use both but it kinda goes trough OA. So its best to have both. Some mods require ArmA 2 so yeah, there you go. I hope this clears it for you. -
PLA should be independent not OPFOR.

I voted on all fronts but I find this thing kinda weird. People there only vote SC2 or BlackOps becouse thats the only thing they know of, even if the game has no mods at all or smt. Even in best PC game people voted some crap over arma. I mean everyone can vote what they want but noone knows anything about this great game.
