Tbh i dont want to see console players playing with us PC guys, the erratic movement of someone using a controller is a "no go" in a realsitic game. Anyone know if we play on the same servers?

for the last 3 days i played ArmA 1.05 for about 25 hours and never had a single crash, same for the other guys i played with.

Lots of people still play on 1.14, but 1.15 is not really a beta anymore, BIS just cba to release or rename it properly, thats sad, because it devides the MP community.

I would say ArmAs graphics are more realistic while crysis´ are more effectful, not really comparable.

Dont think that most of ArmAs community wants fast paced, instant respawn PvP matches. I see ArmAs community wanting simulated real life battles and warfare was a good start. I hope we get a a modified version of the warfare map with ArmAII.

Nice, finally some working artillery, this will completely change tactics. But i hope they simulate the G36 like it works in real life, been able to use the 1x red dot sight and the 3.5 zoom. It´s the best rifle in the world imo. And I agree with most people, implementing the XM8 prototype weapon into a realistic game isnt a wise decision. Hope that it will be very very rare, especially in online games.

Sorry, but you play the wrong game, if you want ArmA to be similar to BF. In RL there is no instant spawn 20 sec walk to headshot an enemy.

Watch OFP2´s release (when its out), i´m pretty sure, BIS won´t release ARMAII way before OFP2.

WL+1 for trolling. I think I know quite a bit about PCs, and my gaming preference is using the 360 these days. If you quote me, please quote the whole sentence, it´s my opinion and has nothing to do with trolling, consoles have limited abilites compared to pc´s.

if the overall sound quality is as good as those two samples, i´m going to buy ArmA II just because of the sound! Great work guys, keep it up!

* increased loading time of textures (when turning around). sometimes you see those ugly low res textures before the higher quality loads * real coalition system, reduce clipping * urban combat, improved inhouse movement etc * improved AI * lagfree gameplay in MP * improved MP code to be able to sniper people from distance (currently its quite impossible due to "jumping" players at distance = lag issue)

Yea, the Hotshots server is the best, all credits go to Benny, he´s the most talented mapscripter ive seen and one of the friendliest gamers ive met. wish more servers would host our RBTI83 warfare mission.
