  1. after many years I am returning to Arma :) so far I am learning "how to" but at the moment I imported my new models from 2017 (yet not released in Arma2) , first to go is FB GROT rifle (aka "MSBS") so far I am learning differences between Arma2 and Arma3 , but I hope to add some addons - for example to Livonia faction (LDF-Polish mix) , I have (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) changed some old models (still not released ) but so far few screens: https://postimg.cc/gallery/1wmtzibhm/ gallery of several dozen screens, probably camo will be changed to fit LDF scheme , those models are totally new (not old 2010-2012 from Arma2) and many of them have mesures taken from real vehicles or real rifles (match size , match elements) I already know how to import weapons and add proxies (scope, bipod, pointer) now I have to add custom pointer (khaki for example) , custom scopes, after adding several weapons to LDF infantrymen I will try to port some vehicles, some time ago i made my first A3 campaign, for this campaign i already made addon of police skins (soon will be realeased, police uniforms, blue police, black police, ranger green police, also CTRG uniforms in new shades, woodland-summer and desert) https://postimg.cc/gallery/18srzm3sa/ due to need of campaign I needed desert CTRG and spring-bright-grass CTRG uniform and new police uniforms and helmets, so campaign will be updated with new uniforms and weapons for Police/Army etc.

  3. i am making preparations to import some A2 stuff (never realeased before) but i have several issues (A3 AI seems to be worse than A2 AI): in Arma2 they can turn turrret, here in A3 AI simply stuck on one side and cannot turn, no "scan horizon" order helps, they simply try to turn 360 degree while turret is limited , in Arma2 AI simply changes turn, here ? why ? we use several types of such gun-trucks which are not 360 degree but rear-gunner , and here AI cannot turn , why ? are "rear" turrets in this game working or not ? in A2 it works perfect (Hibneryt trucks, Pilica truck) https://postimg.cc/gallery/Rt1YnZ3 + https://i.postimg.cc/cCrT80Kh/nsm.jpg gallery of several new vehicles, some imported , some still in A2 another problem in A3 - how to set turret on such truck that when i look trough optics sound of cannon is not silenced ? when i look through scope - sound is silenced like turned into turret
  4. i have made very big update (and have it on my disc) with WR40, new Biala ZSU23MP, new models of Poprad AA system, Sola, Bystra radars, Star 266, Hibneryt 1, P, 3, Leopard 2PL, Abrams SEP v3 PL, and many others but... i see how much of my content is being sold by pirats (probably from east) on different 3dstocks, my models are often pirated and sold for 99, 89 dollars etc. if i release now , probably next week several eastern pirats will sold it illegally on 3d stocks (stolenc ripped content) so it stops me from realeasing

  7. upcoming : industrial machines for industrial scenes in Livonian empty factories, very lowpoly models to not cause graphic lags (models are extremely low poly so they do not "weigh" for FPS in factory buildings fight scenes) -CNC -drill, -production (bubble foil) -production (plastic) office: - cabinet with files few more items will come to update within few days light/flash (for UV for police etc) one more big production machine more forensic stuff for police or chemical laboratory glass etc

  9. info about update: - there will be few production machines to empty factories on maps (3-4 big machines) - there will be some forensic stuff for police missions/adventure police/detective missions - few shop items (weighing instrument for example) - and... new furniture... those who recognize sofa... you know..
  10. working on (and backuping to 1drv 😉 but it is still wip): added: defibulizer, ekg, usg, anesthesia, suction pump, infusive pump, respirator (separated from surgery bed) items moved to things>medicine and weapon case and military bed moved to things>military 😉 working on on other stuff

  12. gallery with upcoming update: - X-Ray machine (without bed) - X-Ray oldschool on wall - surgery lamp - surgery bed-set (bed, EKG, breath respirator) - hospital bed - hospital locker - kitchen and bathroom furniture - gun case open and closed - safe in variant of weapon setup (not only documents shelves) Uploading it to 1drive (link as previos) as 0.62 version , unit uniforms yet not fixed, but visible objects + tiny change in AA laucher model (1 detail which i seen on real one) so you can download it after circa 30 minutes from this post future update ideas (some of them will be done depending of my free time): - more furniture for different kinds of gameplay activity/scenery - production machine (maybe CNC machine) - shop stuff (weighing instrument, some products to shop) - gun rack - cabinet with books, documents - medical closet (currently there is small locker, but i think about tall closed with glass doors) - ammo boxes for safe (decoration), 9mm, .223 (paper boxes) - i have to find my old model of teddy bear, so than teddy bear will be added - i had cat figure model, i have to find old funny cat decorative figure - more house furniture , maybe stylish old cabinet/table - icons for already made furniture (there are no custom icons at the moment)
  13. gun case and gun rack - seems okay ideas i will do it on dayz - you forgot what was in 2017 ? several mods were charging 10 $ from each player to start with my hello kitty Smart car or with my guns , formally they were charging for hosting servers but there were mods who were charging for "starting pack" in dayz mods (not dayz game !) and such starting pack was for example my model of Smart in hello-kitty texture or my AK pack instead of vanila Arma2 AK it was in 2017 and around that time later it was fixed but when i hear word "zombie" i remind myself those situations on gun case - such gun case will be just scenery - i mean opened case like on photo and closed on gun rack - is it possible to have it working as proxy holder ? weapons stored and visible as proxies ? or simply dead-object (like other boxes)
  14. https://i.postimg.cc/KjnHYxYQ/upcoming.jpg upcoming : surgery set (surgery bed, ekg, respirator) hospital bed surgery light bathtube now i have to find config to make safe (steel cabinet) hold items plus config for lamp/light i think that surgery set can be one unit (with EKG and breath respirator) because in surgery it is used together hospital bed will be "stand alone" i will add few items more (probably medical) like funny X-ray on wall etc. maybe X-ray machine (if i will have more time)

DayZ was worst in A2 community that could happen - players paid for paid servers, some groups made thousands of dollars on servers using and charging for free content made by addonmakers so when you say about DayZ it is for addonmaker from Arma like saying "select all models, push delete button on keyboard, cause someone will take it and monetize it" addonmakers get nothing while some boys set servers and took money for starting with selected addon , player paid few dollars, 1000 players paid, guys had 6000 usd for my addons while i had in my country 600 usd monthly salary so better not say about DayZ (i wish i had 20% of what they charged people for playing with my addons)

I will try change inheritances on safe - it is nof for weapons, but for documents but if in mission people will use safe for weapons - i will do another - like real - vertical not horizontal (the way we have for rifles) this safe is to place there documents or money or secret papers etc. in missions or simply to be decoration (dead scenery) bathtube to be done, vertical weapons safe - if you do missions - do you need another piece of furniture ? I am looking for inspiration (stove and washing machine done, sink done) if there is another type of furniture or mission dead (not functioning) object needed - let me know 1) safe for weapons will be done 2) i should do bathtube 3) ?

I found small mistake - I have no idea how to fix it, configwise: - when i place policeman using either BIS gendermerie uniform or my police uniform (for LDF) i have neither name of this uniform in editor nor capacity for magazines: class vil_LDF_policeman_blu_yellow: vil_LDF_policeman_patrol { displayName = "Policeman (high visibility, summer)"; scope = 2; author = "vilas"; linkedItems[] = {"V_safety_yellow_f","H_Cap_police","ItemMap","ItemCompass","ItemWatch","ItemRadio"}; _generalMacro = "vil_LDF_policeman_blu_yellow"; model = "\A3\Characters_F_Exp\Gendarmerie\B_GEN_Soldier_F.p3d"; uniformClass = "U_B_GEN_Soldier_F"; editorPreview = "\vil_skins\ui\ico_pol_y_co.paa"; }; as you see - BIS uniform is used but when i place such policeman - i have zero magazine capacity in this uniform plus such uniform is not named in editor (like he was without) i used BIS one - not my own to show mistake how to fix it ? winner wins virtual stove and newest Livonian production washing machine (and maybe more furniture or bathroom furniture for cutscenes )
  19. i am glad it works now i am making update - sorry for confusion i added disable of driver to turn-out why ? i have to model interior - till that moment - in WPT there is disabled turning out option file is overwritten on 1drv just one config line "driver force optics true" +2 furniture more - kitchen locker (80 cm, 85 cm high) and sink (the same size) for kitchens in missions 😉 11:40 CET, 12:00 CET - file updated !!!
  20. 0.60 (i hope 0.60 not 0.59 test) on 1 drive - the same link as before from post from 17th Feb - added those what on screen (2 skins of LDF) - added WPT vehicle - recovery repair APC (i had no time for reskin so it has Polish camo) - added reskins police and khaki offroad - added more furniture for scenes in missions - metal cabinet "safe", metal cabinet open (can put items for mission) , metal cabinet for clothes, military bed ( > furniture > office) there are several new furniture to place them into missions - screen shows previously added MRE or static rucksacks for missions - Spike ATGM missle magazine to be put in mission on table etc (can take this as magazine) - added those "requiredaddons" in _veh addon (i hope now it works, if not, i will fix config when i will know what to add to it) currently preparing some more missions and fixing old mission pack

  22. my addon is not compatible with other things than vanila so i do not know how it work with other mods/gameplay changing addons i was doing it on vanila game to work with vanila game with vanila names, animations ---------- on updates - so far one person offered help to polish my capaing to deliver Contact2 campaign collecting blueprints for some new vehicles so far nothing more to report, due to lack of free time i had no time to import more things from A2

  24. only myslelf , it is personal hobby ========== 1 news - the same link as 17th Feb, update 0.56 just went to 1drive - Grot sport with short barrel (such version is produced and in sell) named Grot S10 in editor - Grot with heavy barrel as LMG (such version was just prototype, not released, but in game it can be ) named Grot C HB in editor , it uses C-mags in A3 + AI use more auto-fire - added totally fictional (after all it is game) 13.5 inch barrel (Grot C14), it is pure fiction but studies show that 13-14 inch barrels in 5.56 are efficient * note Grot rifle has generally now "in real" 3 barrels: - regular army 16 inch, twist 1:7 - civilian 1:9 lenght 16 inch without baoynet mount - civilian 10.5 inch in Arma there are : - army 16 inch - civilian 16 inch (different muzzle device, no bayonet mount) - army 10 inch (in reality yet not produced ) - now i added civilian 10.5 (visually different muzzle device) - marksman barrerl 20 inch (such version was tested, however not produced yet) - heavy barrel now added (as said before - tested, not yet produced) - fictional version of future 13.5 inch barrel without bayonet mount (maybe such thing will appear in real in 2025?) so 2 new versions of Grot - so far nothing more cause i was trying to make some update to old Arma2 pack (still playing CWR with my A2 so i am fixing some A2 mods, still , i am trying to make "last" update for PL mod in A2 (with models from A3, with new boots issued to army brown ones, with better models of vehicles - which already are in Arma3 ) )
  25. but there are new models - above linked LDF pack with Polish weapons pack contains new models of BMP1, Rosomak, Leopard2 , PT91, 2 trucks dozen of rifles, scopes, hanguns this LDF pack will be growing - but very slow , now i want to fix my 2019 capaign (Contact2) my version of LDF campaign counter to BIS Contact (player is from LDF)
