Id like to see a CTI type game where the players have to dive at the start to make there way on land to clear an area for a FOB. From there then players can fly equipment and vehicles from a carrier to the newly created FOB. Obviously probably wont see this in the Alpha stage of the game but would make for a great team work game.

Arma 2 Addon request thread

How about creating a training fighter and helicopter that allows for a trainer and trainee to both sit in. But the key would be then the trainer can take control at any time. This maybe already out there but thought I would suggest it anyway as I couldn't find it. -

Looking to join a team as a pilot mainly. But would also be willing to take part in ground combat. Been playing Arma for years but allot of my Squad have moved on and I want to get back flying as I am starting to get rusty. I fly both transport and CAS. I am capable with both fix wing and rotary aircraft. My personnel favorite would probably be the A/MH6. I'm based in Ireland so would be best suited to European servers. PM me if interested -
I've been searching for this but cant seem to find anything. I'm trying to find a script that will allow me to randomly generate a number of enemy's in a town. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

I have created a model for a new weapon that is going to be part of a Mod project im working on. Im a complete noob to creating configs and was wondering what steps I need to take to create a config that makes the weapon useable in game. I have searched and read some tutorials but Iam still a bit lost I would like my weapon to inherit from the m4 weapon class using the ammo type and also used the acog sights. Help would be very much appreciated :)

that belly gun system looks very useful would also be nice to add a fast rope ability to the v22 would come in handy i think

ok i havent been able to load my saved games i searched and found people were having similar problems and i tried what other people suggested but didnt work ive even tried the new beta patch here is the image of the error here it seems like it is an error message for a missing addon but it happens even if i make a mission that has no addons in it i still get the error. if anyone can help me it would be much apreciated

i read that somewhere as well i agree with you that you might as well customise the missile so its range is whatever you want no point in having a missile that is only there to be destroyed

I had a search but cant seem to find what i want. I was wondering if someone could tell me the best way of managing my addons at the moment i have my addons split into mod folders but these folders have gotten very large and are starting to take their toll on the game i was wondering if anyone knows any good addon managers to solve my problem any help would be much appreciated.

this is quite nice but any chance you could do it so that the islands are in there original style but with arma ground textures and grass etc would be much nicer than choosing different ground textures. I would really like to see nogova in its original form with dessert around the airport and grass and rock around the rest of the island -

any news on the beta -
id love to see B-2, B-1 and B52 bombers being made for arma i think heavy bombers would be very useful in the game

Recon Super Hornet - with multi-function reconnaissance pod (SHARP). Now the situation is BLUFOR has air superiorty - it's a must have to equip Shilkas manually with Mando Missiles (fake Tunguska). agreed this bird is very hard to take down the only thing ive found to work against it is another f 18 and even then its hard cos of its countermeasures. It is by far the best thing to hit arma so far and has really improved the airsupport available all we need now is a carrier to launch them from and to test the tail hook
