Well that is promising, I guess. It would be nice to get some info about that from the dev's. Thanks for the feedback.

I guess no more of this now.

How about server stabilization? Are folks still getting booted regularly?

Buddy got stuck in a fence. / Lost the ability to go prone, with glitchy crouch.

I wish I would of screen shot this one. He tried to jump over a fence and somehow became one with it, not allowing him to escape. He had to quit and lose all his gear. 😞 Same round, I lost the ability to crouch and go prone, eventually crouch came back but it did not respond correctly. -

Just got stuck in a tree. I just let my buddy kill me and take my shit. Bummer. -
I just keep my food. Maybe it will be useful some day. A close second would be the knifes. Has anyone actually got a kill with one of those?

me and my friend got kicked out the game and lost all our crown

This likely one of the most common issues/requests going back for a while and I have not seen anything except from some surprisingly defencive "moderators". Not even sure the devs read any of this shit. Or maybe they are on vacation, what do I know. There was seemingly a patch earlier this month which is hopeful. -
You dont. Welcome... There are like a hundred threads about this. Sorry bud, shit sucks, happens to us at least once every 3 to 5 games.

(Server Crash/Kicked From) "Error during communication with cloud service".
SubjectAuthority posted a topic in Xbox Technical Issues
Hello, we get booted from the server about once every 5.5 games, and sometimes at the shelter. It will usually send us back to the start screen, at the state we were directly before we joined the match, with the following message. "Error during communication with cloud service." This is almost a deal breaker for us and really the only major gripe so far. We would be happy to toss a few handfuls of dollars your way if this were not the case. If it crashes in this manner at least allow us to keep our gear. Their must be a way to tell if someone is just rage quitting and or attempting to cheat the system with a quick escape. Secondary Issues: (kind of in order) Picking up loot is super fucky, my bro sounds like he is going to punch his TV when trying to find the sweet spot to hit (X). Please save my ears from the yelling!! Ladder climbing is way too slow. I have worked on ladders most of my adult life, often one handed with chainsaws and now days other gear, and we sail up and down those things about three times your speed. A quick slide down and or dismount would save a lot of crybaby's from crying too I think. (maybe that last bit you can do, never tried) Hits don't always seem to be hits. Auto fire on guns seems to glitch out from time to time. Moving while prone in first person is not great. Aiming is a bit fucky, though you can get used to it. People at distance don't always show up well and are glitchy. Battlefield 4 can do it and that game is like 10 years old. I would love to hear other people issues as well. Let's hound the shit out of these guys to make this game great! -

Like PUBG and Fornite. Boy did Player Underground really shit the bed on that one, I bet heads rolled. Battlefield 7!! Only if DICE can pull their heads out of their asses and learn how to make a great game again. HA! But count me in, my buddy and I are probably creeping on 2000 hours a of BF4 game time. Until we tried this, that was generally the only game we play. Though I would say BF2 Special Forces was the best one they had. There are objectively better options in the "open world" market on PC, but trying to convince your friends they need to buy a $1200 gaming rig is a tall order. -

Yes that is not a good sign my friend. A real bummer. Maybe they are on vacation, I think they are in Europe, they work like 4 weeks a year there. 😛 -

Ya, I would just be happy if I was not booted from the server every time I got some good loot going. Some other game modes would be interesting but not compromising the original game play and making that stable should be the primary focus. For the NBC mode, was not thinking really pay for those suits or any sort of pay to win. More like a mode where you go in with Chem gear on to loot areas while dealing with all the challenges of navigating that environment with your PPE on. I do enjoy the pay for only cosmetics model, like Fortnite. -

In the order of what I thought of first: Loot swapping - How is this not already a thing? When looting with two you tend to loot different kinds of sites, loading you up with different items than your partner. It would be nice to be able to exchange items in the shelter to even this out. Also it would be cool to give your buddies gun back after you kill the guys that smoked him and then leave the match. This would also allow teams to focus on different shelter builds, having one person focus on farming, the other on parts and so on. FPS mode - This would be pro, I know noob gamers don't like this but it would be fun for us old timers. Visiting your partners shelter would be cool. Upgrading guns with parts instead of getting your gun as a "kit" would be nice. Finding a scope for example and putting it on any gun with the right mount or being able to disassemble a gun and using its scope or other part for a different gun. I know this is alot to ask for but it would make losing your heavily modded weapons a bigger deal. This could then bring different magazines, bi-pods, grips, lasers and other attachment. Traps - oh boy, you think noobs are triggered now buy the lush environment and campers. These could be rather benign like the strings of cans used in The Walking Dead or simple firework poppers used as trip alarms. But re-purposed small game traps and IED's would really add an edge to blissfully wandering through the wild not watching where you are going. Bigger teams - Three and four person teams would be a blast and would play well with other game modes. Other game modes - no drops; more drops; looting runs with faster radiation clouds; only radiation clouds (see below); more PVP focused modes, you know what they are. NBC Suits aka Chem Suits and gas masks - as a former military member and knowing how hard it is to shoot something with these on, this sounds like a fun time and could really play into other game modes. These would of course would not last forever, and would take a long time to equip - like in real life Binoculars - any self respecting survivalist would have a pair of these. Silent weapons - such as crossbows, bows, and throwing weapons. Better melee mechanics - the knife is basically useless. A knowledgeable knife wielder should be able to take down their foe with minimal blows, as long as they hit, especially if they do not see you coming. Plus there is seemingly no basic hand to hand at all. A more robust damage mechanic system - bleeding out and limb damage like in ARMA. One could then track their bleeding foe for the finish. Boot tracks and other signifiers of a recently trafficked area. Noise making - other than just jumping up and down on wood floors. Such as throwing a rock to distract an enemy or hitting something to make noise. I understand that a lot of these are complicated things, to say the least, and would require significant gameplay changes. But hey, why not try to make a good game great. I would love to hear ya'll thoughts on these. -

There are gestures with the d-pad, though I have never used them, but ya some vocalizations would be cool. Trading would be my big one. The guy I play with seems to grab all the machine parts and I get all the wire. We usually don't have the time to plot our looting accordingly, it's just grab and go. Night mode, could be another one. With some flashlights, if you dare . Not too dark, but enough to change it up. Who is roaming around in broad day light anyway after the fall. They all ready do a good job with the rain and fog and such. -
Good game, but the servers are desperate for another round of polishing.
-
We get disconnected from servers about every five and half games. It will bring us back to the game state before the game, usually within two minutes of starting the match, but some times just in the shelter area.

game crashed and we lost everything

This happens to us at least once a session, often the first or second round of the night. For us, it is like we are booted from the server, but it keeps us in our squad and sends us back to the state we were before the round. Almost a deal breaker.
