  1. The problem is that the Battlepass never really ends. So it's in the interest of increased income for BI, that the best and newest plans will be in the premium section of the whatever is the current Battlepass. As it is this time around.

Night mode on every map ?

Night mode. Interesting concept, but no thermal sights please. A little too Fortnite!

    First Battlepass

I feel you too Blacklax, I fully concur with your sentiments regarding the purchase of the first BP. However I would counsel against pursuing your feelings of grievance on the forum, as it is clearly a contentious area. Keep the faith and continue to have fun out there.

    Game crashes

What region are you in Chase? Adding that information may help the devs isolate the issue.

    Survival stats

Hi Never, Just wondered if you wanted the statistics to be open to all or just yourself? I'm ambivalent about either to be honest, but feel a majority would maybe prefer to have stats limited to themselves and friends. I would certainly be interested in seeing mine. The only downside I can foresee, is that the statistics could expose your playing style. And some outlanders might not what that out there. Interesting discussion point though.

    Animals

Not against variety, but the problem would be that soon everyone would know the spawn locations for these animals, and outlanders would either take them out from distance or wait for an other outlander to engage them, and take the outlander out while he was busy. Take the stash for instance, there are maps all over the net. I go to the nearest locations to where I spawn, and if I'm lucky I'll take it or camp it depending on the options for setting up an effective field of fire. Another fun activity I quite enjoy is camping the stash to identify teamers (if I suspect their in the lobby I take a screen shot). If your getting a little fed up with grinding for XP and you find the stash. Camp it for as long as the signal detector doesn't expose you, and you will occasionally see teams of 2, 3 and up to 4 sharing it out. Another screen shot or video, then you can put names to the miscreants! Obviously if the signal detector goes off twice while your there, take it and move on. That's in solo by the way, and it keeps me interested anyway.

    Where's it headed?

Hi Sakabato, You make a valid point about utilising cover. I've played a number of games and noticed the same sensation. Been in an identical spot as pre update, and it's obvious that the position does not offer the same cover or give me the same view as before. It felt to me as though the size of the avatar has been increased slightly in relation the everything else on the map. Probably got it totally wrong but that's how it felt.

    Where's it headed?

Like myself, quite a few outlanders who were ripped off on the last Battlepass are holding off on purchasing it, in case they offer it for free again.

    Campers must be stopped

Looks very much like camping/bushwhacking is a thing of the past. New consumable - Portable Signal Locator! Check out any building before entering. Don't know what the range is yet, find out in 15 minutes.
  11. Hi Ginja, You will get your crates in about 13 days, as it says on the donation screen! That should be about a quarter of the way through the Battle Pass season, so you will be able to improve your progress twice (as the next set of reward crates after these will be delivered just before the current Battlepass ends).

runningspeeds what do other players think?

Never played PUBG, but would agree a 10% decrease in running speed would be welcome.

    Deer Feeder bug - Grontheim

Out of sheer panic I forgot to capture the event this time. But I have worked out why it happens. If you weapon requires reloading, when you get to the deer Feeder and hit X you simultaneously get the food and reload your weapon! This creates some kind of conflict in the coding that prevents the Sprint command from working. The jog to the exit is definitely anxiety inducing.
  15. As you move down the very west (left hand side, past the carpentry buildings) of the map towards the road exit, there is a deer Feeder among some trees, just after a rocky outcrop (and just past one of the stash locations). If you have been sprinting and stop to take the food on offer, a strange reaction occurs when you try to select the X, you get the food but you can't start sprinting again and have to jog to the exit. A very high anxiety trip if your loaded with loot. It's happened twice now. No issues when moving in the other direction. I'll make a movie or screenshot next time it happens to demonstrate.

    Mouse and Keyboard support?

Hi Sebhilton, For me the clip you posted clearly demonstrates the advantage you get with MnK. I may be getting a little slow as time creeps on, but I simply can't line up targets that quickly. I think all outlanders know when they've been taken out by an MnK user. In fact it happened to me only yesterday. A good MnK user knows they have that split second advantage, even if you have a field of fire setup. I think, like teaming in solo mode, it's down to player integrity.

    Mouse and Keyboard support?

As far as I know, you can't currently use MnK on this game. Somebody tell me if I'm wrong?
  18. I've seen videos produced by other outlanders and I've read accounts of teaming on this forum. Finally happened to me on Grontheim a couple of hours ago. In the lobby I noticed a number of players with high end weapons. Didn't think too much about it as the encounter wasn't boosted and I was working on my headshot challenge and had not intended to do a lot of looting. Spawned into the absolute north of Grontheim near the APV's. Decided to trek South to the first 2 storey house and set myself a field of fire. Got there safely and positioned myself. Signal locator went off, no problem thinks i, I'll stick here until it goes again then move on. Heard activity outside, loading of a weapon. So prepared for someone to enter. Two outlanders entered at speed knowing exactly where I was, and terminated me. Embarrassing easy actually. Once I understood the situation, and the fact that I had been teamed. I decided to record the rest of the encounter following my killer. The 2 guys with identical weapons scoured the area and looted very professionally. The signal locator went off and it became clear that all other outlanders had either been eliminated or we're heading off the map. The two guys meet up with another team member at the bridge where the drop had by now landed. They looted the area but left the drop untouched and then there was one final check of the signal locator. A slight pause ensued as they stood still a little way from the drop. Clearly the team member who has camped the signal locator passed on the message that the map was clear. The three at the crate made off to the South exits, presumably leaving the drop for the signal camper. A very well organized team. Quite impressive actually but definitely not in the spirit of the game. I have a screen shot of the miscreant who ended me, but have decided not to name the outlander, as it was clear that these guys do this kind of thing regularly and are unlikely to change their MO until some form of censure is applied to teamers. The Devs really do need to look at ways of preventing this type of thing. How I don't know, as the answer is technically way beyond my limited knowledge of coding. But I'm sure there must be a way. I know some of you more gifted outlanders relish the challenge of taking on a team, but to be fair it's not easy when there are teams as well organized as these guys clearly were. I'm no newby, but me and my soumi offered no real challenge.

    Mouse and Keyboard support?

I'll give you a definite answer. This is my view. Mnk is cheating and anyone who uses it knows why. It gives you an advantage! If BI allow it they will alienate a large proportion of their player base and totally change the Dynamics of the game. My PoV. Agree or not.

15,000 food for next set of crates?

It will level out eventually, but what's the saying? Make hay while the sun shines!! Good move BI.

    repeat feedback from me

Your not wrong Fred. The sound of approaching outlanders is bad, but I understand it's due for a fix. Stick with it.

    Challenges

Be patient my friend, challenges are generally offering better rewards, but sometimes it takes a little time for the random cycle to come around.

    Some dev praise!

Also needs to be said that daily challenge rewards appear to have improved. Good move BI.

Adding A.I. enemies to the map

Hi Ace, It's an interesting suggestion, but I fear it wouldn't work as well as you suggest. For instance, and from my personal perspective, I would simply camp the AI locations and let some other outlander begin the assault, then take him/her out from distance. If no outlander bothered to engage with them, then I would consider taking them on just before or after the drop for easy loot, as they would presumably be quite dumb and predicable. As it would be of no use if they took out any outlander who approached. Not cricket you may say, but the name of the game is survival and getting off the map with as much loot as you can. I find it difficult enough dealing with human outlanders to be bothered dealing with AI's, whilst not knowing who may be hovering around training their sights on me.
