  1. I changed the init to nul = [] execVM "tpw.sqf"; and it worked. Thanks for the suggestion. Also would you consider adding more furniture to the selections? If I inserted more classes into the script, would the template still be usable?
  2. Still no go. I've copied the original script word for word several times, but a script error keeps showing up with "undefined variable in expression tpw_furniture_fnc_deleteitem" and I have the same problems as before. I've uploaded the scenario file here.
  3. Well I gave it a go, but it didn't work for me. However, I did notice a bunch of rpt spam: I copied the script into a file I called tpw.sqf, then in the init of the player I put this exec "tpw.sqf"; The hint with the code showed up and I had a chair floating in front of me, but I couldn't alter its position.
  4. Tpw, Is there any documentation on making the templates for houses? I'd like to try and help come up with templates.
  5. tpw, is there anyway to configure TPW FALL to allow the player to ragdoll from bullet hits, but not ragdoll from jumping over obstacles/falling?

    I use the T key. EDIT: Nvm. I found out that my sprinting (Shift+T) was interfering with tactical ping (also Shift+T).

    My movement key is w, which isn't walk, but rather tactical jog. That might be what throws it off.

    I'm unsure whether this is intentional or not but I'm pretty sure you could vault over a wall while still holding the forward key in the previous version. Was this overlooked or is it a new feature?

    Have you checked out createVehicle or create3DENEntity? You could also use createSimpleObject, but that one is a little more complex and requires fetching the .p3d file path. (also if you are using apex, you might want to take a look a look at the giant hanger at the L'aeroport de Tanoa, south of Georgetown. It fits a C-130 perfectly, The hanger doesn't show up in the editor, but using one of those methods, you could spawn each half of the hanger and cut a dependency). I also suppose you could write a new config which sets the scope of the hangers to 2, making them visible in the editor.

  11. Huh. I guess I remembered incorrectly. Have you tried the setTaskDestination module?
  12. In the destination field (i think that's what it is called), there should be a marker option. You could also use a setTaskDestination module for setting the position of the task to the marker, then sync it to the main task module.
  13. Oops. I misread the question. IIRC, you put the name of a map marker into the box and it assigns the task at the location of the marker.

    How do people get their pictures in posts to show up so big in the forums, for example the photography thread? I'm guessing that the 100kb rule is still in effect? Is there a trick to minimizing file size and increasing size?
  15. Are you using the mission folder or the pbo file?
  16. I'm not at my gaming pc right now, but in the 3d editor, under the waypoint's attributes, there should be a check box about visibility, right? Now I think it hides the waypoint on both the map and in the world, but you could always use map markers to mark the objectives.

    About the Tu-95, I absolutely love the wreck model. I love how it appears that the plane broke apart, even if it sometimes looks really weird. What made you guys decide to do it this way, instead of just breaking off the wings or something similar?

    I'd probably edit your quote before you have to deal with endless waves of hatred. On another topic, the MRZR is so much cooler than the quad-bike for spec ops missions
