    That is the crux of argo wanting to be "competitive". The fact that a higher level translates to better guns, better sights, armour and grenades means that a lvl 6 is not going to be as effective as a lvl 25. Until BI fixes some of the obvious balance issues between high and low level competition is downright impossible. Good luck wigh the tournament, i might be down for some competitive argo in the future, provided some of the balance issues are fixed and we play the king of gamemodes; Clash

    Tournamet is raid only? Clash is imho the most interesting choice for a tournament. Have 680hrs on PA, 1 of the 680 was spent playing raid.

    Skill Points

    There should be a system that lets you spend your skillpoints differently for each loadout slot. Current system is just dumb imho (no offense BI), the ability to easily swap loadouts and bring different loadouts to different objectives in clash would make the game more enjoyable. Also i feel the default loadouts as they are ruin the experience for a lot of new players. Would love to see some good default loadouts. That way i would not feel as bad when i snipe the lvl 2 player from 550m. :)

    Just wondering !

    From what i understand there is no official roadmap for the game and there has not been one since project argo became available in nov 2016. If they say they don't have a roadmap why not just leave it at that? And i am guessing the update will come when it is ready, but it will probably take longer if they have to take time out of their schedule to awnser a bunch of whiny posts every 5 minutes.

    No, the sight tree is locked untill unlocking a weapon at that level.

    Am i the only one who thinks that suppressors should only be available in lower calibers? I think it kinda ruins the fun of sniping when you can sit on a mountain and fire repeatedly without alerting anyone who is outside a 50m radius. Feels a bit cheaty to me...

    Hey BI Still Loving the game but i have a suggestion for the skill tree. Would it be possible to set it up in a way that lets you have different loadouts available without the hassle of disconnecting and resetting your skillpoints? I would love if you could have 3-4 different "skillsets" that let you spend your xp in different ways. Right now i end up using the same loadout on every map as there is no way to change skills on the fly. This is limits my play style as i can only play one role at any given time. Give ppl the possibility of creating multiple characters with different skills, i belive it would make the game more tactical and less repetitive. Keep dem updates commi'n!

    Hello again BI Just some more short feedback before bed. One thing that has bothered me from day one of argo is a bug that occurs everytime you switch from scoped to reddot. The peripheral of the players vision stayes blurred as if he was still in scoped, it is reset by toggling out of ADS. Before: After: As you can se the second image is a lot blurrier. Can this be fixed? The second thing i would like to adress is the draw distance. As it is ATM things are not drawn after 6-700m, this is a bit short imho. It would be better if draw distance was around 1km, i ruins a lot of the immersion for me to suddenly see the house you where trying to look at disappear behind some invisible curtain. Looking forward to launch =)

    So, ive been playing the new update a lot lately. I am questioning if the m18 and mk18 adr should be in the assault rifle category. Having them in the ar category means they have acces to silencers but they still shoot verry acurayely out to 6-7-800m I mostly snipe, and it feels cheaty atm most of the time when i engage the target has no clue as to where i am shooting from, if I kill my target his teammates have no idea of where the fire was from. TLDR: silencers on 7.62 should not be a thing.

    One more thing, the inactivity timer is a nice feature, but i would like to see it upped to 2 or 3 minutes. Sometimes you just have to go pepe or get some coffee, sucks to lose your progression in a match just because you where ten seconds to slow.

    Nice Update. It brought me out of my argo hibernation. There are some things regarding the progression that i would wish to adress however. I feel the progression system as it is today twists the balance in favor of players with xp. Some maps like sainte marie are heavily range dependent. This means I can sit with a DMR and pick ppl off one by one at +400m, a new player with little or no xp will not have accumulated the skillpoints to counter this strategy. He will not have access to any scope powerfull enough nor will he have access to a weapon capable och hitting targets reliably at these ranges. My suggestion would be to give players acces to 5-10 skillpoints at level 1. This would allow for customization right of the bat without the need for grinding 6 levels against superior opponents to get a decent weapon and scope. That´s my two cents on the matter. Keep up the good work, enjoying this update so far.

    Is that the way it is going to stay? I like learning the areas and reaping the benefits of knowing the battleground. I the game is going to switch areas once every 1-2 weeks with no possibility of playing old areas it ruins a big part of the fun for me. And what is up with all the blocked doors and ladders. I see a silo on delta and i want to go up on it, but the ladder is disabled for some stupid reason, also the bunker on foxtrot ( i think) is locked and inaccessible. Why? Did we lose the keys? Did HQ call and say that we have to play outside? Who locked the mud brick building on echo? I understand that you are trying to balance the map in some way, but please let us decide where to go. Furthermore the weapons and scopes seem to be a particularly haphazard choice this time around. Why does the machine-gunner have the MCRO? It blocks way to much of his view when zoomed to 1.5x. Marksman is almost useless as you have 6.5mm and 7.62mm which only seem to be effective at ranges <200m. If i was sniping and trying to hit a difficult shot, would i not opt for a caliber that is going to have some knockdown when/if the round connects? I feel that you have on this map increased the range of most engagements but at the same time you have decreased the effective range of a lot of the guns. I hope to se some actually useful classes in the future or at least the possibility to let the players decide what weapons to use.

    New Clash area is sub-optimal. I understand that you will use this platform to try out different ideas and different locations. I appreciate your efforts and enjoy playing PA. However i want to be the first to voice my disappointment in the new location for clash. Le Port was a urban setting with a maze like lane layout. The new setting for clash has multiple un-climbable ladders, doors on buildings that do not open, and is a open alpine rural area with a lot of vegetation and rocks. The latter is in my opinion is a lot less fun to play, and i really hate being forced to play a, in my opinion boring map. Please let us chose what area we want to play and please do not lock the game to a single area at a time.

    These are a few of my thoughts after playing the game for a week or two. I mostly play clash and i feel that is the gamemode most people are interested in. 1: I would like the GPS to show teammates locations and the direction they are facing, it already shows the airdrop and being able to se where my teammates are would improve teamplay. Being able to set the zoom on the GPS would also be helpful 2: Ping/Spot circle needs some improvement, i would like it to be higher in visibility and also be player specific. It can sometimes be hard to distinguish the ping you are interested in. maybe different geometries for different players, so that it is easier to tell who pinged where. The ping needs to be more exact, it often gets caught on leaves and is hard to place when peaking through windows at low angles. 3: We need the ability to make a 5 man party from steam friends and have its members play on the same team. 4: Having blue text in chat when playing in the orange team is confusing. maybe find a neutral color for chat? 5: Grenades need a buff 6: Lobby timeouts are to long, why is there a 70s timeout after a 30s cooldown? 7: To many mixed gamemode servers In conclusion i really enjoy this game and i think it is a cool development of the arma engine. I hope that BI can make something successful out of the prototype and i am looking forward to being able to customize my loadout. My recommendation would be to keep adding a few new areas but also keep the old ones as knowing the area is key to success.
