ALiVE - Advanced Light Infantry Virtual Environment 1.0 (GA)
Tuskegee_99th replied to ALiVEmod's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
My non-ALIVE missions suddenly don't work either as of yesterday. And I noticed that even a freshly created mission using either the 2D or 3D editor which works fine on my local machine, will not work on my rented, dedicated server. Dave -
MCC Sandbox 3 - Dynamic mission creating tool for ArmA 3
Tuskegee_99th replied to shay_gman's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Another issue I'm experiencing is that I can't get the MCC settings module to actual change the mission settings. The GAIA settings module seems to work fine. But when I place the MCC settings module and change some of the settings, preview the mission, login to MCC and look at the missions settings they are always still at the default settings. Any ideas? update: MCC settings module does work. It doesn't seem to include the setting for 'resistance alliance' which made me think it wasn't working. Dave -
Cant see or select rolles in Multiplayer (EDEN EDITOR)
Tuskegee_99th replied to Danish_Ice [NBG]'s topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
I've created missions with v1.56 with just 'playable' units, no 'player' unit and the missions works fine locally and on my groups dedicated server both vanilla and with the normal mods we use. As a matter of fact it as never not worked. update: I found a way to create the problem by copying and pasting my playable group on to a different terrain in the 2D editor. After the paste the units were set to not-playable and, at that point, I got no slots. Dave -
MCC Sandbox 3 - Dynamic mission creating tool for ArmA 3
Tuskegee_99th replied to shay_gman's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I've been using MCC4 with 1.56 on my groups dedicated server with CBA, RHS, and CUP Terrains, and others, but not ACE3 yet. It's mostly been working just fine. I will say that, occasionally, I get the same behavior. The "Generating Mission" starts, but seems to get stuck either before or after objectives are created. The progress indicator is not freezing but it never seems to finish creating the mission. I've only been using the Altis terrain since the update so I can't speak about other terrains. I do know that MCC says that with ARMA 2 terrains you should use the 'zone' method. I will add that this behavior is just occasionally, the vast majority of the time it creates a mission using the mission generator just fine. Dave -

Tuskegee_99th replied to G.Gonzalez's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Yes I've noticed that as well when my game is running at 2560x1600 resulotion. When I drop back to 1900x1200 the menus work fine. Dave -

Looking for help with dedicated server and MODs
Tuskegee_99th replied to Tuskegee_99th's topic in ARMA 3 - SERVERS & ADMINISTRATION
I have the latest version of the hlcmods and it's not a problem with a missions not starting, the server won't even start with the @hlcmods activated. Dave -
Looking for help with dedicated server and MODs
Tuskegee_99th replied to Tuskegee_99th's topic in ARMA 3 - SERVERS & ADMINISTRATION
Hi Jack, I believe that any MOD that has models, textures, items, etc. and creates class_names has to be on the servers and clients. I know some mods like sound mods only need to be client side with the .bikey on the server. As I said @hlcmods worked fine on version 1.54 of ARMA it was after the update to 1.56 that the server will no longer start with that mod activated. Thanks Dave -
F3 Mission Development Framework (F2 for ArmA 3)
Tuskegee_99th replied to fer's topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Looks like this thread might be dead for now but, if not, I can't seem to get the 'body removal' module to work in a MCC4 dynamic mission. I realize that the script needs to be run manually after MCC has spawned AI units, but even doing that dead bodies never seem to get cleaned up. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Dave -
Looking for help with dedicated server and MODs
Tuskegee_99th replied to Tuskegee_99th's topic in ARMA 3 - SERVERS & ADMINISTRATION
Hi Jack, Thanks for responding. I am very familiar with that page, have read it extensively. Keep in mind that the issues I'm describing started with the 1.56 update, I've had the server running with previous versions for months. 1. Yes 2. Keys are in the correct place 3. Command line is correct (except of course those times when I make a typo :)) 4. And I do have verifysignatures =2; in the server.cfg One of the CUP developers mentioned that the red indicators on mods in the server browser are probably not reliable. And, since the CUP Weapons does work I'm inclined to ignore that one and the DLCs being red as well. What I'd really like to figure out is why @hlcmods now prevents the server from starting, worked fine with 1.54. Dave -

MCC Sandbox 3 - Dynamic mission creating tool for ArmA 3
Tuskegee_99th replied to shay_gman's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I was trying to save the mission, in-game, so I was not in either 2D or 3D editor, just using the MCC4 UI, and then just paste into a text file. But when I would tab out to my text editor, there was nothing to paste. Dave -
MCC Sandbox 3 - Dynamic mission creating tool for ArmA 3
Tuskegee_99th replied to shay_gman's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hi all, I have 2 quick questions... 1. Does the save mission as a .sqm to the clip board not work in ARMA release 1.56? I tried it last night and nothing was saved to the clipboard. 2. What's the simplest way to implement dead body/vehicle cleanup in a mission template for MCC dynamic missions? Thanks Dave -

Tuskegee_99th replied to CUP's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hi All, Looking for a little help here with CUP Weapons. After the 1.56 update, on my rented/dedicated server, CUP Weapons has a red dot next to it in the mod list at the lower right of the server browser. CUP Units and CUP Vehicles are green as are my other mods, except for the DLC addons which always seem to be red. As with the DLCs the server runs fine and all of the CUP Weapons assets are available and seem to work fine. Just wondering why, now, it show red. I've tried putting a fresh copy of 1.5 on both the server and my client machine, no change. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks. Dave -
DynaSound - A sound mod by LAxemann (Release)
Tuskegee_99th replied to laxemann's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hi Laxemann, I've tried all the sound mods I could find and yours, in my humble opinion is the best. I've been using it since it's release. I am confused however reading the last few posts, do you consider the 1.11 version of Dynasound ok to use with the 1.56 release of ARMA 3? Or should I just be waiting for you next release? Dave -

[MP][COOP] COMBAT ASSAULT - Official Thread
Tuskegee_99th replied to code34's topic in ARMA 3 - USER MISSIONS
Hi Code34, First, wanted to say our group is really enjoying your Combat Assault mission, we've been playing it every night for weeks now. In the notes for version 1.34 you indicated easy porting to other maps. I wonder if you could explain how to go about doing that? I tried to figure it out myself with much luck. Great mission, and thanks for any help you could provide.
