  2. How can i export my preset mod list to share it with my friends ? In which file is it registered ? I have a lot a different presets and i'm playing lan with my team, i made presets for every map we play and would like to share it with my friends so they don't have to manually create the same presets. I tried the "export mod list as file" but it only export the mod list, not the presets... Thanks

Hello, I created a mission with Warfare Thai mod activated, so when i export my mission and want to test it without Warfare Thai activated, i can't, as there is a dependency to this mod, even if nothing in my mission comes from Warfare Thai. I tried to open my mission in the editor after launching the game without Thai but i can't... Is there the way to remove that kind of fake dependency ? Thanks
  4. Hello everyone, I recently noticed that in a few Ravage missions i have created, there is a problem with the item spawn in containers. If i host a local server and play with my friends, i'll be the only one able to see and loot the items added with the "additem"' command. To fill containers with items, i used the command "this additemcargo ["rvg_canisterFuel_Empty",1]; this additemcargo ["rvg_toolkit",1];" in the INIT field. What am i doing wrong ? Thanks for your help.
  5. Hello, I'm making an ofp remake of serial killer mission, and i've got an issue. At start, i have a "Resource title not found" window opening. As i know only basics of scripting, i don't even know what a "resource title" can be. I have searched a little on the internet but couldn't find anything interesting. I have checked all my triggers and i don't know where the error could come from.     Hello everyone ! I experience some troubles with the last Ravage updates. It seems the loot system has changed a bit. I edited a few missions i made for Ravage a year ago, to make them compatible with last update, but now when playing in multiplayer, loot is really meagre inside the houses. With a friend, we played on my "Malden Incident" mission, and we just found 2 or 3 items inside the houses in more than 3 hours of playing. So i edited my mission, and tried to increase the loot chances amount, but i can't figure how it works. Is it in percentage ? I read many things on the Fandom board and it seems many people are experiencing trouble about the loot system. Any idea ? Thanks
  7. The Caribou Incident A Ravage coop mission for 1-4 players. Introduction A.K.A a bunch of bullshit that you can skip ! I'm proud to introduce you my first public mission released on Arma 3 (the last time i shared missions on the internet was for the first Operation Flashpoint !). I have played hundreds of hours on Ravage mod. I enjoy it really much. I think i've tried every published mission using that mod on steam or bis forums. I enjoyed some, i've been frightened sometime, but most of the time missions where just a bunch of modules put together with only a survival aspect. After playing a lot of "just survive" or "escape" missions, i wanted something else, to play with my buddies and feel something more intense in the Ravaged world. I have made 3 or 4 missions with Ravage modules before sharing this one and i hope you will love it. Pitch : You are 4 US ARMY soldiers left on Caribou Island after the White Pleague started. You have to find your way through the island and to complete three objectives : - Find the laptop containing secret documents about the virus (2 random spots) - Retrieve the infected blood from patient zero in a CSAT LAB. (static spot) - Escape with a helicopter that you'll have to repair first (3 random spots) Features : - You are 4 US ARMY soldiers : you start with nice weapons, a bunch of ammos, maps, and you're not civilians or desperate survivors like in most Ravage missions. - Each soldier has his speciality : 1 team leader (starting with a gut knife and binoculars), 1 rifleman, 1 sniper and 1 gunner-engineer (starting with a bag and a toolkit). - Lots of points of interest : CSAT lab, random bandits camps, CSAT roadblocks with ammos and water, old us army base where you can get hoses and vehicules, gas stations where you can get toolkits and empty cannisters... - Random starting position for the US ARMY team - Punishing death system : you respawn after 30 seconds at the same place without your bags, loot or weapons. You only respawn with your uniform/gear/vest and a 9mm handgun ! But your friends can loot your body just before you respawn if they are fast enough ! Teamwork is important here. - All types of zombies. A lot of hordes walking around. - Vehicles wrecks presence set on medium, and a few manually placed wrecks in strategic places. - Time acceleration set on X8 so maybe you will have to play during the night. (with zombies spawn increased). - Lots of hostile bandits/survivors (population factor : 2) - RHS equipment in the loot system. - Even if you are well trained soldiers, survival system is there and important (lack of food on the island, strategic place where you can find water, radiation system on...) - Should be FPS friendly now (most of units use caching system and i tried to put as less as static objects as i could to keep FPS high.) - Mission needs 1-3 hours playing, depending on the way you handle it. Requirements A.K.A What you need to play this mission : - CBA A3 - Ravage 0.1.52 - Cup Terrain : CupCore and Cup Maps - RHS USAF/AFRF/GREF (0.4.5) - Caribou Frontier (only for the Caribou Incident version) Known issues : (as i'm some kind of noob modder, could get some help here !) - Briefing and tasks are not showing on the loading screen before starting mission. When you start mission, it works well, so you should take cover and read the briefing and all the notes. - There is no popup to tell you when you have completed a task, only a hint message, but don't worry tasks are well checked in the briefing menu.   15. I looked inside the sqm for chat/sidechat commands or stuff like this : nothing. I also tried to copy past the static objects/triggers in my mission to a new one, i've got the same issue...

    A few issues on my yesterday evening play, in multiplayer. (I was hosting locally) : - I fixed a car and took it with some friends. We put some equipment inside but then i was the only one able to retrieve equipment from the car. My friends could put equipment inside, but not retrieve it...Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I am the one who repaired the car, and with the ravage_owned fnc ? It was a car generated by the wreck module. - During all the evening, my buddies could take a look inside wrecks and see some First Aid Kit (that they shouldn't probably see!), but actually not take it (which is normal i think, as there shouldn't be any FAK in the wrecks). For me, i wasn't able to see any FAK in wrecks, so the bug was only applying to them. Hope it will help.
  17. Same problem to me with a GTX 1070. I recently bought a new computer especially to play Arma 3 and it's really annoying to get that kind of pop-in with a 2000 euros computer...

    When i launch the map i have an error : "Cannot load texture p:\mog\data\rubble_nopx.paa" Then in the editor i have : "No entry /bin/config.bin/cfgVehicules/DestructionEffect.scope" AND "No entry /bin/config.bin/cfgVehicules/DestructionEffect.side" When i play it in game and someone destroys a building i have an other error : "No entry /bin/config.bin/cfgCloudlets.housedestructionsmoke" Also, i have regular crashes when i leave any mission made on that terrain. Hope it will be fixed. PS : Great job on the terrain, it offers really amazing urban combat !

    If i can make a suggestion : There is a wiki for Ravage mod, and it could be really great if people who know how to modify loot equipment list, dynamic weather system or other stuff in a missio, without modifying ravage, could make little tutorials on the wiki, as there are a lot of useful informations on this topic but it has 189 pages for now and it is sometimes hard to find what you want in these pages...

    That's why there is a "Zombie Blacklisted area" module which comes with Ravage, in which you can define an area with specific size where zombies can't go !
  21. Yes, survival is not the point of the mission, even if the system is still present, it's more like a classical tactic mission with a lot of ravage features in the background. I wanted to avoid some things like players spending 2 hours to find a map, dying and then try to find a map again for two hours. That's why i wanted to create a mission where you play armed forces in a ravaged world. Playing Usarmy soldier doesn't make players invincible...Also there are CSAT troops on the island who are heavily armed... I like that mix of Zombies/Bandits and scavengers/Armies. Everyone is against everyone. Not for now. The mission is made with a scenario (look at the notes) so it won't make sense at all to play that scenario with civilian survivors. BUT, i'm thinking about making a mission where you play a group of desperate survivors just at the beggining of the White Plague on Caribou Frontier. Just in the middle of the fight between US and CSAT. I also wanted to avoid unending mission : a lot of ravage missions can be played for dozens of hours (yesterday i spent 8 hours on Escape without finding a vehicule, it was really painful). This mission can be ended in less than 2 hours if you are lucky. Friendlies survivor have 25% chance to be traders. I have to say that i have never met one of them in any Ravage mission (except hand placed ones)

    Could we have a list of Arma3 Terrains which are compatible with Ravage loot system as they use Arma1/2/3 buildings ? I know already for CupTerrains but as i play Ravage everyday with friends for months now, we are getting bored of Altis/Tanoa/Chernarus terrains and wanted to try new ones... I know that Chernobyl isn't compatible and that Esseker is. I wanted to know about Panthera Island, Australia, Bornholm... I couldn't find it. Thanks a lot for the amazing work !
  24. Hello, I'm using Arma Apex eden editor. Since 1.64, i can't create random start location : I put some soldiers on the map and connect the team leader to empty markers (named or not) with a "choose random location" link. I launch the mission (in the editor or in multiplayer after export) and my team is always spawning at the place where i put them on the map. I tried to relaunch the mission, to put names in the markers, to connect the whole group to these markers or just the leader, to put {vehicle _x setpos formationposition _x} foreach units this; in the INIT of every soldier of my group... It still doesn't work. any idea ? It's a multiplayer map with respawn system (you respawn where you died) and everything else is perfectly working.
