    @ von quest I agree with you on keeping it simple. There is no need to having too many vehicles in the mod, which will only complicate things. Haven't had a chance to thoroughly test the mod. I'm waiting for Thanksgiving holiday. I was wondering if you could give us insight on the "meat and potatoes" of what your mod at current state can do. Meaning, how many total missions are available through SOCOM? How many ways are available for entry to enemy zones? Does ALIVE add to the SOCOM mission enemy zones when used? Are there multiple forms of extraction? etc.. The reason I'm asking is I watched a YT vid on the upcoming Ghost Recon game and it left me thinking, is it possible to have multiple scenarios with the same mission? Can I go in stealth or aggresive? Do I have multiple ways for extraction on the fly due to the outcome of the mission? I'm curious to know what are my options when the S.H.T.F. I'm very pleased in the direction the mod is heading, and was just wondering what we are capable of doing when using the mod. Keep up the awesome work your doing!

    @ monkey I like the direction your heading with the snow script, but like many that are testing are not scripters and find it a bit difficult to implement the script to missions. I agree with Pulstar that a module would alleviate majority of the issues in adding your script to any mission created. And dude, awesome job as always! keep up the great work your doing!

    @monkey Awesome job! Can't wait so I can build missions in blizzard snow maps. I only have 2 snow maps so if you could please post a list of snow maps that work well with the script, and keep up the great work!

    @Von Quest I'm trying to understand what SWC Core will do. I understand it will be an off site headquarters where everything will be done there. Now this is the part I don't understand. When creating a mission at SOCOM, will it randomly pick any map from my roster, or do I basically have to choose the map then create the mission? If its the former, can you imagine SOCOM creating a mission to a pre determined location on any one of the 20+ maps that I have? That would be INSANE!!! If its the latter, it would still be a great added feature, except that it will break the immersion a bit of randomly receiving missions from SOCOM to any region/maps (I'm seriously hardcore into the whole role-playing thing). I know its a WIP, but what other features are you planning to add to CORE other than what was already mentioned? Any other projects your working on for future updates? And I want to take this moment to mention the outstanding quality work you have done with this mod. Keep up the great work!

    @monkey I noticed that on your video there was snow on ground and trees. Is that part of the script or just the blizzard itself? If not, is it possible to add to the script? Did you add the snow to the test mission or is it an added snow map mod? I just viewed cosmic's vid and noticed no snow on ground and trees.
  6. I'm new to scripting and I'm trying to add a script so I can carry 2 main weapons (SBR/SNIPER). I think there was a mod in Arma 2 that allowed to shoulder the 2nd weapon. It would be nice for a mod so I don't have to script a mission every time, but even a simple script to place in the INIT would do. I've been carrying an SBR in my backpack and slot a sniper, but then I would have to drop sniper rifle on the ground and slot SBR from bag. I tried placing the sniper rifle in bag, but it's not allowed. Any Ideas?

    Man, I feel like a noob asking this, but is it possible to use this script on any map? I already have some pre-made missions and it would change the them dramatically with a blizzard. Also, is it possible to add the script to a dynamic weather system mod, so a blizzard would be in rotation?

    @ blaze Took your advice and was able to add supressors to my weapon using VAS. Works great, thanks. 1 thing I noticed with sound using supressor + sub ammo. I've shot IRL both supressed sub and super sonic ammo and the sound effect using sub ammo on game seems too loud, closer to what i guess super sonic + supressor levels would be. Another thing i noticed is when using optics, the iron sights will "float" on the left side of the weapon. Other than that, the mod is outstanding. Love the detail on every weapon. I know it was mentioned not to make requests especially knowing how much work is involved with the mod, but would you guys please consider adding more camos for the weapons (especially snow)? There's so many maps now and it would be nice to have camo that matches the scenery. Also, have you guys considered adding anti-material rifles to the mod (50 bmg, 12.7x108mm, 14.5x114mm, 20mm)? It would be awesome to take out high value targets beyond 2000m using a Desert Tactical Arms HTI/ Swiss Arms SAN-511/ Barrett M107 or nuetralizing lite armor vehicles using an Anzio mag fed 20mm rifle/ Barrett XM109 25x59mm (prototype). HMMM...just a thought.

    @ lecks Thanks for quick response. I completely removed ASDG from the file and still was not able to add suppressors to any weapon. Everything else works fine except suppressors. I also updated CBA just incase and still nothing. EDIT: I checked parameters and CBA is #1 so I'm stumped.

    Can anybody help? I feel like such a noob for asking this. For some reason I can't add suppressors to the ACC weapons. I tried everything possible like placing on vest and using MRT to slot. I'm a huge fan of the 300 BO and want to incorporate the ACC in my spec ops/ black ops missions. PLEASE HELP!
  12. @ ALiVE devs Outstanding job developing one of the best mods which is much needed in ARMA 3. I'm fairly new with ALiVE and it is unreal the the amount of different scenerios one can create with this mod. I have a question that I hope you guys could answer. I'm an avid player of RTS style games ( Wargame: Red Dragon, Call to Arms). Is it possible to command RTS style by zooming in and out of areas of engagement (by using camera view) without using the map? And if it is not possible atm, would you consider impementing RTS style gameplay to the mod. I believe this would bring a refreshing new meta to the game. Also, I'm excited to know what you guys are planning on further developments, so we all can have an idea what to expect. Keep up the great work!

    @Zapat Is it possible to implement GTI to a self made mission. This would be great for tactical spec ops missions. Also, is there other uses at its current state? Maybe possible strategic commands to several groups (armor, air, sea, platoons, etc.)? wishful thinking.
  14. @MCC Devs Great job on an outstanding job developing what I think is the best add on for the game. I have a couple of questions I hope you guys can answer. 1) I like the RTS concept of gameplay, but I have no knowledge on how it works nor to start it? Is there a video or anything that can help? 2) Is it possible to create a RTS style match where both teams are building bases and once ready, capture zones and a team wins via a implemented point system? And if so, is it possible for 1 or more teams to be AI controlled for single player or COOP teams?
