    You're right, I actually can edit the mission via text editor. It wasn't possible last time I tried it, no idea why. Anyway, I tried deleting these references, which gave me a different error ("error loading mission"), way too complicated for a scripting noob like me. Luckily, a friend of mine had the obsolete version of aforementioned addon in his PC, so I was able to use this version of addon to load the mission-works fine. Looks like there is no easy way how to cope with issues like this, that's what I wanted to know. Thanks for your help, much appreciated o7

    Well, I wanted to learn the procedure, how to overcome this issue, in general.   3. Hi guys, I need help with a problem, which could be solved easily (I hope), instead of me spending dozens of hours figuring out, where the problem lies. So: I've been running my own mission with my friends like 6 months ago. We all were kinda short on time, so we ceased to play until now. First thing I noticed was that six has been shut down, sadly, so I set up a launcher and installed/updated all the needed mods via steam instead. Looked good. Then I moved to the eden editor and tried to load my mission, but I got an error message telling me It's missing two classnames. I installed, however, all the addons which I was using before, which made me think that some classname in the updated addons got renamed, or deleted. Is there a way, how to get those missing classnames-objects deleted from the mission, so it could be loaded in the editor? Prior to eden, I always just opened the sqm file and deleted lines in the "required addons" section. The mission would then load up in the editor, and I could fix the effects of this missing stuff. I can't however do the same thing in the eden mission file, as it's hashed or whatever, not just a plain text thank you for any ideas o7

    Thanks for the reply! Well, the sqm file starts with the .raP string, its on the first line. I didn't binarize the file, I'm not eve sure what that means :) Can I somehow "unbinarize" it?
  6. Hi guys, I'm just clueless and came here to ask for help. I'm doing one simple mission for me and my friends; I decided to use the new 3d editor and worked for a while on the mission. After a while, I noticed there are several addons loaded, which I didnt have any use for, so I deleted them. The mission obviously noticed this, and gave me an error, so i went into the mission.sqm file and searched and deleted all these addons related lines, as I was used to do in the 2D editor files.     No luck there..it's apparently not visible in the 2D editor (I can see it, as you mentioned, under SOCOM in the 3D editor). Does someone know it's classname, so I can place them manually in the sqm file?

    Placement radius not working?

    Thanks for replies. I was trying it in some sort of a mine, on Tanoa, with no buildings nearby. Good to know it works, thank you-maybe one of the addons messed it up.
  12. Hi guys, this might be just my mistake since I didn't use this feature in a looong time-maybe it works differently than I was used to...anyway Does placement radius work at this moment? I tried placing an empty DSHK (RHS addon) in the editor and wanted to randomize it's spawn location a little using the spawn radius parameter. The MG, however, spawns always at the same spot, as if the placement radius field was left blank. It didn't work for other units/items either. Am I doing something wrong (i.e. does the placement radius require some input in the Init line to work?). Thanks for any ideas

  14. Hi guys, thanks for the awesome mod! I'm starting to set up a nice vietnam-themed mission on tanoa for me and my friends I'm unable to find weapon magazine classnames anywhere, can you help me out? I found the pdf with all classnames in appenedix, but those don't seem to work. I also checked the xls on your forums, but didn't find magazine classnames there. Thank you
  15. Apparently caused by ace3, which needs to be updated. WithSIX doesn't offfer the update yet though https://github.com/acemod/ACE3/issues/4087 edit: the problem remains even with the updated version (361)
