Oh... found this thread. Small,but good mod.Wish you keep quality at the same level. Actually I wanna suggest... a unification patch for RHS.Make ammo,weights,sounds,armor and armor penetration similar to RHS.Probably then I'll suggest to use this inside my PvP communities.Yet,only SP tests... and this makes me sad. -
Naval Infantry doesn't wear badges.Not for parade uniform,not for field uniform.Looks like Telnyashka and Black Beret is enough for indification. But MoD office unifrom is... diffirent.They're wear black office unifrom(as Navy),Red Shoulder straps(As Ground Forces) and Ground Forces badges.But it's was 2013,not chechen war period. Looks like they have same badges as their ground forces counterpart: Ground forces,tank,chem.warfare,VDV(Yes,naval VDV units,im not mistaken) etc etc.

Bagdes are wrong. a)Look at the size.It's smaller.Almost 1.5-2 times smaller that you did. b)Golden badges used only for parade and office uniform,not field uniform.They must be grey or greenish.Silver one are acceptable,but it's too glossy.Not recomended. (Seems pre-reform ground forces badges(aka soviet badges),but still - look at size and color) (This one must be much useful) VDV ones looks good,just scale it down. Edit - standart VDV squad are questionable.Afaik it's only 5 man squad,cuz platoon = 1 transport plane = 3 BMDs inside(which have 5 mans capability).But it's classic Paratroopers. There also exists air assault units,which trained for helicopter deployment,but assigned for BTRs or BMPs.Honestly,don't know much,but... Overall - 4/5,just because of badges.

It's modern badges of ground forces(Not only motorized).Everyone wear it. I just send thins to show where it's should be.Here is another one. Actually there is lots of badges... I suggest only Motorized and Airborne(2 images in previous post,it's chechen war time badges).

Yeap,I know that.Partially it's solve the problem.Diffirent sounds is also might be annoying.Since RHS and NIA uses diffiren sound configs - create patch for NIA to share RHS sounds is seems impossible.NIArms weapon will have no sound.

The problem is - addons incompatiblity.It's gonna be bad situation,when you won't be able to use RHS AK mags in NIA RPKs.Another point - diffirent sounds of same weapons. At least this must match IMO.

need RPKs for full immersion :P I know RHS yet not make this,but still.Probably makes sence to ask Toadie for share their RPKs,and then reconfig it for usage RHS ammo,sounds etc etc.

Chechen Wars was sort of shamefull episodes of Russian Military.USSR been collapsed,unxepected conflic,a moron alcoholic,called president... a lots of things happened this time. First Chechen war - army was sort of whore house.Lesser skilled battle-prooven soldier and a meatshield of conscripts,who almost had no training at all.And since this camo been adopted this year - it's explains,why people used such various types camo. Second Chechen war - this actually end in 2009,and also at beginning of it they,new camo been adopted.Old Soviet camo been used cuz it's still was at storages and finances for military was not enough. Lack of standart usually means this military in bad condition.And it was. Except special forces.They just take what they want.

Variability isn't a strong side of military units. Every military unit trying to make everyone look similar,but exists exceptions.As example - in my Training company we had various types of armor vests,starts from 6B12 and up to 6b23.Camo also varies.It was 2013 btw. But then I'll go to serve into rifle company,we had similar weapons(AK-74M/RPK-74M),similar vests of single color,similar helmets.Literally only one battalion been equipped with diffirent weapons(AKS-74,RPK-74),but it was fully equipped with it,they had no AK-74Ms at all. Better make everyone similar than make everyone unique.It's closer to reality.

Just adopted during it's beginning.Depends on year you planning to.If it's beginning - definitely no.Late stages - why not. Actually the main armor vest was 6B12.6B13 is an assault version,which is heavier and have better protection. 6B12 was like 6B23,but less comfortable. VSR-93 is Dubok/Butan VSR-98 is Flora M88 is Afghaninstan sand color uniform.

Su-25SM3 are able to use all variable Laser-guided,TV-guided and GLONASS-guided weaponnary.Unfortunately,new grach(It's nickname in Russian Army,translates as rook) unable to use supersonic Vichr ATGMs,as Su25T.The company 'NPK Shturmoviki Suchogo' says - we unable to realise proper laser targeting channel,nessesary for vikhr guidance. just recognize... Do Su-25SM3 have vikhr missiles?I doub't actually. According wiki(Which isn't reliable source of info :P): Su-25SM just have updated avionics,additional MFD and HUD compared to standart Su-25. SM3 according same source have GLONASS guidance and SVP-24-25 ballistic computer(Which increace precision of unguided bombs) compared to Su-25SM. There was no words about Shkval targeting system,which used for Vikhr missiles guidance. Build-in laser designator was even on Su-25,btw. The only version of Su-25,which able to fire Vikhr ATGMs is only Su-25T and Su25TM/Su39.But it looks slightly diffirent. -

Well,hard to explain,but it's not about Russia :P Firing drills means only target practice,I can refer the document,which describe normatives.There is no transactions at all. Russian army mostly doesn't have such purposes.They rather destroy building with artellery or tank at distance than clean them. Special forces are another story.They're purposed for such operations,so they have such training.But also they obviously use diffirent pistols,not PM and it's standart sheat. When I mean harder training... well probably just misunderstood,but... Well,there is not so much emphasis.Training are usually 'Just in case'. There is 3 stages of hand to hand combat: 1)Basic - Regular army training.80% of the usually have this level.It's mostly explain how to use bayonet,some very basic tricks.Nothing special. 2)Advanced - Officers(due it's part of military education) and shock infantry such as VDV and Naval infantry.This mostly shown to public. 3)Special - Special forces operators.What it's like - I don't know honestly.- 16574 replies

WIKI isn't reliable source of information. Of course exists some quantity of this pistols at internal service(Law Enforcements I mean,such as FSO,FSB and so on),but not military. This quality so small,so not every military officer ever know this pistol even exists. Well,firing drill practice aren't the strong side of Russian Military at all.Special forces usually do this(And it's far much harder than any western drill),and also they gets better pistols.But not average military officer(Pistols are only Officers equipment,enlisted personnel didn't use this,but exists exceptions). CQB are not even part of army training,the main logic of building cleaning - "if something moving inside,throw grenade inside,then check it." edit: Probably the favorite Soviet made pistol,used by special forces today is Stechkin's Automatic Pistol aka APS.Literally,it's a 60's relic(Actually PM are relic too),which been conservated due lack of purpose and complicated production technology.Pistol was great,so they never been outside of USSR,except very few exceptions. In early 90 SF gets it,because it's was very good for counter-terrorist purposes. -

PM are most common pistol in Russian Army.Some of them been produced in 60s,and this pistols probably can live same amount of time untill they will be replaced. Since all officers have AK since Afghan war,pistol is more internal service pistol than combat pistol.PM fits it's role at 110%. PMM in my opinion is a joke. -
Originally it was only 2 colors - SS-leto and SS-Osen'.Looks like now they're makes more of them.It just appears not too much time ago. Im talking about right manufacturer of Gorka suits(SSO).But exists a lot of clones of them.Some of them better,but mostly worse.Looks like OP start making clones :P In my honest opinion - as a military uniform Gorka is a bullshit.Expecially with camo.They loosing color,cuz it's 100% cotton canvas.Literally it's became color like on left guy.Situation even worse,if it have camo. As I said above now we have gorka clones :P Not too bad,but I personally don't like it,just because there is tons of gorka clones and all of them usually bullshit. Talking about Berezka Camo... it's originally NOT A CLOTHING CAMO.It's a maskkhalat,a cover over main uniform.If you see jackets or pants - it's hunter store clone for sure. They still in use,at least I used this in 2013.

Standart squads are useless,cuz it's just... wrong,at least according my Russian Military experience.Mostly used as filler gap,like better than nothing. But this mod still give you opportunity to make your own loadout and save it.Even save your own squads. -

Yes,you were right.Since HP and LP have slighly diffirent geometry this happens,and I actually forgot about the cage. Chagning the cage makes less missed rays. it's all just testing btw.Trying to remember how to make stuff. Also seem standart skyline render is awful for baking.Strange things happens. -
Actually even Crye Precision do so.You literally can own Berezka camo on G3 uniform,if you able to pay for 1000(or so) of them. Talking about EMR Gorka.
