Hey I'm extremely new to writing configs and any sort of coding in general and I was wondering if someone could post below a sample of a helicopter config.cpp file with some brief explanations of what each bit means. This would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Mulllan

Hey guys! So over the past little while, myself and a friend have been working on a mod for the British Milsim community. This mod currently includes MTP uniforms with a variation of TRFs on them. In the near future I intend for their to be a uniform for every regiment/battalion (where doable). We are also working on our own custom berets to accompany the uniforms and their respective regiments. To do in version 1: Add all the Armoured Regiments - DONE Add RAF/NAS/AAC uniforms Brush up on the overall look of the uniform - DONE Some (WIP) screenshots of the uniforms: What is the future of this mod? In the future my friend and I intend on creating our own rucksacks, possibly adding in the VIRTUS equipment and more uniforms (navy uniforms, RAF working uniforms etc etc) Expected release: Approximately one month Credits: Mullan - most things config and adding the TRFs in Antell - initial rework of the uniform Regards, Mullan and Antell

This project has the aim of creating a Tanoan Armed Forces faction for the new APEX expansion. The idea is to make this faction independent, similar to the AAF, and to make it seem somewhat capable of standing up to the Rebel forces, NATO and CSAT. Due to my little experience in modding, this will be primarily based off retextures, but if anyone feels like they want to get involved and has any prior modelling/config/texturing experience then please, PM me for a chat. That isn't actually a bad shout. I think I will give that a go. However, I'm unsure as to how I can unpack EPO files as I haven't seen anyone do it so far. And to get the APEX stuff I kinda need to be able to crack them :) If I had a team modeller, by no means would I be sticking to retextures but I'm incapable of 3D modelling unfortunately.

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, due to this being a one man project, it will be on hold till I get back from Holiday in 3 weeks time. Once I get back, the real work will start

Alright, I'll try to incorporate more greens and olives, i thought the white might make a more effective colour as well because too many dark colours actually stands out more than blends in.

Ah right, my bad but thanks for the correction :) First WIP screenshots of the camo pattern, I'm not overly sure on how effective it is, if someone could give me feedback that would be great :)

So, this is gonna be the last progress update for a few weeks due to a family holiday so I'll leave you guys with these pictures: I'm also thinking of starting an expansion to add a more "Official" Tanoan Army things? We'll see where that goes.

Ok cool, unless anyone has any conflicting votes, that could be the new flag!. I've also started to rework the MTP uniforms and I'm leaving more of a "divide" between seams and stitching which should give the whole thing a nicer look :)

Okay, so I've put together the DPM uniform however I think I need a better pattern, due to the original size it doesn't look very good when it is applied to the original uniform. If someone can find a better (bigger) DPM pattern, please send it through. I also need to tone the camo down a bit as it appears really bright in game as the screenshots will show. Regards, Mullan

You see, due to the nature of how TRFs are applied in the British Army, they have to be on the right shoulder so I can't put them as insignias unfortunately. As for the flags, well they are a standard part of the uniform.

Yep, we intend on having the base plate carrier and then different variations with an assortment of pouches and such to distinguish certain roles such as medic, section commander, machinegunner etc. As for the helmets, I expect we'll have the base one and other variations will have types of scrim on them. Like I said earlier, if anyone has any requests they are welcome to PM me as to what they wish to see in the mod Glad to see someone supports this mod haha!

After a bit of downtime for this, I'm back. Shortly, I'll be releasing an MTP kitbag which blends in with the uniforms and the carryall too. As well as this, two pilot uniforms have been made including the RAF and AAC helicopter pilot uniforms. On a side note, VIRTUS has been started and we can expect to see it within a month or so :) Regards, Mullan

Looking good ^ From what I saw on a trip to the Royal Wessex regiment base near Longmoore, there is actually a small, rotatable camera on top of that box (the one on top of the windscreen) which also has a small wiper blade too. I'll try to find a ref image for you :) Edit: The bonnet isn't smooth but is more of a rough sandpaper like texture as something else to point out
