I couldn't find documentation of the original author of the xCam Objects, so I emailed Silola. He replied, "He (poolpunk) is the Author of all these objects and he was part of the X-Cam team." Thank you very much for the effort and care that you have put into X-Cam objects and PLP Materials. A friend and I made a multi-story building that would not have been possible without X-Cam objects. The glass, ceiling and floor objects and staircases saved us at the last minute and we were able to run our CQC event on time. It feels great to have more variety and realism in building design in Arma 3. Have you considered giving permission for derivative works? Assembling many individual objects into a single model would reduce the performance hit in multiplayer. It would also allow custom buildings to maintain a uniform look-and-feel with editor-placed PLP Materials. And an open source license would allow others to assist with the development of PLP Materials. I would suggest the CC BY-NC-SA license. It would also be nice if you would release the source configs, MLODs and original 3D modeler models of the objects so that the quality of the objects stays high after numerous modifications. Of course, Creative Commons licenses are not perfect for licensing the source code because they don't mention the source code. You might consider using the GPL license. It's possible to add a note that there is a restriction on commercial or military use. Again, thank you for creating and updating this addon. You are clearly knowledgeable about modern architecture and 3D modeling and texturing.

One idea is to start a Steam group for Linux and Mac Arma 3 players. If you know a LOT of Arma 3 Linux players then you're probably a good candidate to form such a group. Then you can create events for gathering players together at a specific time and place. I have PM'd my Steam name so that you can add me. If you're going to put effort into scheduling events then you might as well make them unique. Most of the people that I know are bored with playing against the AI so we schedule events to play missions with first person only, formal leadership structure, no respawn, and team versus team structure (with no AI). A good starting point would be Dynamic Take and Secure.

There is a very slow start to seeding of the RHS torrents and a red text warning from my torrent client that the tracker is not reachable. For the past several months the bittorrent tracker tracker.openbittorrent.com hasn't worked for me. I live in America, and a friend in Europe also confirmed this problem in March, 2016. Different bittorrent downloading programs have different levels of severity of the warning. Transmission, for example, displays all of the text about the torrent in red and indicates "Tracker gave an error: Connection failed." In addition, the traffic is very slow to start because peers must be discovered through PEX or DHT. If a person is seeding then it takes several minutes before uploading starts to any peers. This delay could be explained by the fact that there are many more seeders now compared to when version 0.4.0.1 was initially released in December of 2015. Therefore the average peer has plenty of seeders available to it, and the peer is less likely to use bandwidth from a particular seeder. As a result, users may assume that the torrent isn't working at all and simply close their torrent software within seconds. The RHS torrents have had a good reputation in the past, providing many megabytes per second of bandwidth at times when other mirrors are swamped and only providing hundreds of kilobytes per second of bandwidth to each user. Unfortunately, with the tracker not working this reputation may be compromised. We want a prompt start to our download or upload of the RHS torrent. Therefore, would you please consider adding these trackers to the RHS torrents in future versions? The existing "Weapon info" and "Stance indication" parts of the UI could be used to provide feedback about weapon resting or deployment state. I have marked available areas in red in this picture. I vote that it be placed in box 2, which is under the Stance indication part of the UI. However, some servers have Stance indication disabled, and if that's caused by a lower difficulty setting (such as 3rd person enabled) then I change my vote such that it be placed in box 3.
