  1. So I just came back to check up on your mod and am very surprised to see this mod coming to an end. I guess I have missed much since I have been away from Arma! From what I can tell you got screwed over by BIS, I read a couple pages back. I just want you to know, you're mod was the reason I played Arma for so long. I'm very much a solo player and usually shy away from multiplayer. Your mod really made it worth playing and sucked me in. Made me really appreciate Arma! I want to thank you for the excellent mod and all the hard work you put into it! I will follow you though and see what you do with the Unreal Engine!

  4. Hey SAok, I had a question. When I capture enemy camps not military posts, is there a way to delete if I don't want to maintain them or have them there. One time I had a crap ton and they were dragging the game performance down.
  5. With that though, are you open to donations? Honestly, if it wasn't for WLA I probably really wouldn't be playing Arma 3 as long as I have. I'm not really a multiplayer guy and usually just play single player. Thus I'd be more then willing to donate, as I really do enjoy Arma 3.

  7. So I just went to start a new wla game and was facing major lag right at the start menu. I've dropped my vid settings once before when using wla. From Ultra to very high, auto detect puts my settings at ultra and does nvidia experience. However I dropped it down to High from Very High and now it's really smooth. Very odd, is there something in the scenario effecting graphics?
  8. I agree with ChuWie and ordering paratroopers, maybe you could use the same menu you use for calling in platoons. About to start me another WLA game woo hoo!
  9. There isn't a way to not take damage is there? The usual "player allowdamage false;" doesn't work in WLA. Trying to test some things out.
  10. Hey SaOk I want to thank you for the distance tweak you did for placing objects. It's a god send and makes base building a lot easier and quicker! Also I was wondering, is there a way to get Konyo's SOAR CH47 Chinook as a construction vehicle like the Mohawk? Another thing, on the note of Zeus, I've noticed that if you place a vehicle with Zeus and then get in and drive and use it. It'll remain in the game when doing the save\load\respawn. Versus spawning one and just leaving it sit there. I'm assuming it has something to do with when it says the vehicle can be used to collect gear. I was wondering what scripts you use in conjunction with making a vehicle gear collecting enabled. Might be a way to use them or some with inanimate objects to get them to stay in the scenario. Thus allowing for some custom bases, like a air control tower haha.

  12. Flying cam would be cool, honestly though I can totally wait. Merely a hope in the future. The distance tweak you did for the next update will help plenty! You're doing great stuff and honestly should have won in MANW. The fact that you're still going on speaks volumes! This is true, I'll have to give it a try. I've used Ares save\load and that one worked well.
  13. Man wish there was a way to use MCC's object editor for making bases. Takes a while using the construction thing from the mod. I mean you can place objects using mcc but they won't stay when you do the custom save/load which is the only real way to maintain your game progress. Easier to keep everything straight too. Maybe increase the number of steps when use the "move" option. Like instead 5 make it 10. Don't know how difficult that would be. Still loving your mod though SaOk. It's the only thing I play on Arma 3.

    Actually I was looking at their thread and guess now TEI development has stopped. Really unfortunate. Honestly though, if people managed to get raptors into Arma, I'm sure you'll find a way to get Elites and such into the game!

  16. I'm sorry things happened the way they did. That's unfortunate. However I hope this mod successfully continues and have high hopes! Perhaps later down the line we'll get to see sci fi content from other games from different devs if not from you guys. Halo is huge though and I look forward to all the new content!   18. spacenavy, you guys rock! Keep doing what you're doing. Love the update and freaking love the frigate sneak peak. Can't wait to see more of it. Would be sweet if you could get it to fly or stationary in the air. Would totally put one of them in Whole Lotta Altis and use as my base!   20. i have 16g ram i7 3820 3.6ghz and gtx 970 I was using AGM I didn't know about the med system thing, however I had removed the medical portion of AGM. Definitely mods causing issues because I disabled all of them except for MCC and it's working fine now. I'm at 50% life however Ill probably get rid of animals. I'll have go through them and find the ones causing issues or lessen the ones im using.
  21. Thanks Mith! So is it like life range then, more zones, harder on the CPU? I've been having slowdown issues with WLA and not sure what it is. I might try disabling all my mods and maybe a fresh install if that doesn't work.

    Drongo's Command Enhancement

    I managed to get this working with Whole Lotta Altis. Extracted the map, edited it and dropped the module down and then repacked the pbo. I used a different tool this time and it seemed to work better.
  25. Ok thanks JCae, I give it another try when I get time. So last time I just extracted the map with pbo manager, do I need to unpack the whole pbo and then repack with the modified map or or is there a way to repack it back into the original pbo? I think that's where I screwed was repacking it. Thanks! ---------- Post added at 07:19 ---------- Previous post was at 05:32 ---------- Alright I got DCE working with WLA. Yay! However I have to go back and look at it because the high command was a little screwy and I was getting reports from everybody. Just tested it in the editor just probably just need to refresh the HC structure. High command in WLA just got way easier! Thanks JCae for keeping me on the right track!
