Taxiing of helicopter

I want you to come to be able to do the taxiing of the brim to which the tire such as UH-60, Mi-24, and AH-64 has adhered only with the tire.

It proposes to have the flag on API side because the distinction of the brim with the tire or the brim that has not adhered doesn't adhere in a present class system.

Something must have gotten lost in translation there... :j:

In any case, it should be possible to make a nice taxiing script for helicopters without too much effort.

I forget what ArmA1 mod did this. It was a bit of a pain since there was no such thing as wheel brakes at the time. Even a small slope caused a stopped helicopter to roll away to its doom.

Now A2 and OA have proper decent brakes but with a couple problems:

1. Not everyone has a brake pedal axis to make use of a "free wheel" feature. To have freely rotating wheels by default alienates a large portion of the ArmA audience who often fly keyboard+mouse (you'd be surprised.)

2. Even with all the joystick pedal hardware a parked helicopter would not have a pilot to put the brake on. An Exe edit would be required to code in "engine off = brakes applied."

A simple brakes on / off toggle would be good enough for most of us.

Simple (although a bit odd) solution: Reverse it. Have breaks on per defeault, and force the person to hold a 'break release' to let the helicopter taxi. For a scripted solution it'd work fairly easily. For a solution directly hooked into the existing engine - not so much.
