wazandy 10 Posted July 12, 2010 When I insert the AH64 into the editor, how to I access FLIR? I've been pressing 'N' but it doesn't cycle optics, I just get night vision. Bit of a newb quesiton I know, sorry.
weegee_101 0 Posted July 12, 2010 I think only the Gunner gets FLIR through his targeting camera. The pilot gets Night Vision only.
Nicholas 5 Posted July 12, 2010 You need to be gunner.
wazandy 10 Posted July 12, 2010 Strange. I get no option to be gunner in the AH64 in editor mode... Even with the middle mouse menu, I see manual fire, but that's it.
fatty86 10 Posted July 12, 2010 You can't switch to gunner from the pilot slot. Either make the AH64 "player as gunner" or land, get out, and get in as gunner.
laggy 0 Posted July 12, 2010 Set "player as gunner" in the editing of the unit. Not sure if it only works on the U.S Army Apache, since the USMC one is from ArmA2, which don't have FLIR.
Nicholas 5 Posted July 12, 2010 (edited) When you place it in the editor, there is an option to choose your position. Click here for a close up. Edited July 12, 2010 by Nicholas

myshaak 0 Posted July 12, 2010 Also, it's very convenient if you set the heli to be playable for both the pilot and the gunner, so you can swith on the fly.
