OA PBO Unpacker

Before I start, if this is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it, delete it, etc., mods.

In short, I need a PBO Unpacker that works for OA. I've tried programs like Laza and ArmA UnPbo, but they don't work or I can't get them to work for OA PBOs for some reason.

Now for the reason: I need to unpack the PBOs to find the path/file name/whatever of the OA version of the 1911 and M9s because they don't work with Deadfast's pistol replacement mod (only in OA, though).

Well, that worked, except Laza doesn't want to open the extracted Pbos now. I use it to open the config.bin, which shows config.bin (1) or whatever, but I can't expand/open/branch/whatever the config.bin to view its contents. Any suggestions?

Kegetys' cPbo. You can find it under ArmA Tools.

I must be doing something wrong as it won't unpbo OA files in the Expansion folder, but it can do the original ArmAII files!!!! :confused:

Download the latest version and it should work fine.

Did that, even tried to unassociate pbo and then reassociated.

you need depbo and extractpbo. there is a registry file that makes it so when you click on any pbo, it opens it and does its thing.

edit..... OK found the issue, unassociate PBO, restart computer, run cpbo and then it works!!! YEAH!! :bounce3:

/\ I use eliteness for unpacking and repacking pbo's - but I can't figure out it's inbuilt bin utils so I use unRap.exe to unpack bins and I just leave them as cpp's after that for repacking (unrap properly converts all the special characters - ie. square brackets etc.).

I really like PBOView, but it doesnt work with OA pbo's.

I just want something that unpacks and packs PBO's. I dont need a whole program to rebuild ArmA
