mattxr 9 Posted July 4, 2010 The Stra Debug 2 pbo is like that for a reason to stop people editing it and using it as a cheat :)
[frl]myke 14 Posted July 4, 2010 And again a pic which exceeds the 100kb limit. Use the Forum miniature which imageshack offers or get serious troubles with a mod.
ck911 10 Posted July 4, 2010 why not using it for singleplayer? I dont think that its possible to "ab"use it for multiplayer, cause it is signed for SP only, isn´t it? (Before the trolls start: Sometimes it is fun to play a mission with different settings. And I´m not the only who likes to use it... ;) )
[frl]myke 14 Posted July 4, 2010 §15) Do not hotlink images over 100kb (102400 bytes) in size Do not link images over 100kb using the IMG tags to display an image in your post. If you wish to post an image larger then 100 kb feel free to post the URL instead of hotlinking.

ck911 10 Posted July 4, 2010 @Myke Sorry for the oversized picture! Changed it to Link only... MattXR, the PBO does not work anymore with ARMA:OA
CarlGustaffa 4 Posted July 6, 2010 The Stra Debug 2 pbo is like that for a reason to stop people editing it and using it as a cheat :) Gaia's own words: Since I'm not planning to continue working on it, feel free to improve it as you wish. Means we won't see an "official" update to make it work in OA. Means only means is to do it ourselves. But made impossible. Why was it "made like this" at the same time encouraging us to improve on it? Now that I'm completely addicted to it, firing up the editor without it just makes me sick to my stomach. It should be included with the game as standard, available from the editor, single player missions, and even multiplayer missions if you were a logged in admin (not voted) and if other settings allowed it. You have no idea what it would mean to mans hair growth :D
ck911 10 Posted July 6, 2010 Because there was unfortunely no help from anyone so far, I had to find a solution for that by myself. The upside is, it forced me to take a deeper look into it, so I learned a lot about PBO´s :-)
Synide 0 Posted July 7, 2010 (edited) try Amalfi's UnPBO.exe (OFPEC)... resistance pbo with dodgy checksum for the config. The Stra Debug 2 pbo is like that for a reason to stop people editing it and using it as a cheat :) Who told you that? Edited July 7, 2010 by Synide
ck911 10 Posted July 7, 2010 So, I can post here the changed and working stra_debug.pbo without getting banned or so?
Synide 0 Posted July 7, 2010 So,I can post here the changed and working stra_debug.pbo without getting banned or so? lol, yeah you should be ok... it's usefulness to mission makers for both single player mode & it's multiplayer mode equivalent far outweights the ineptitude of a pub server admin not configuring his/her server sufficiently to prevent it's use by potential low-grade 'cheaters'. High-grade cheaters capabale of presenting the server with 'masked' information from the client will run much more sophisticated 'stuff' than a few 'call compile' scripting commands.
