steelblood 10 Posted July 3, 2010 Hi I'm just making a simple scenario at the moment and i came about a problem :P How do you make the conditionals on waypoints apply ? So basically i want a vehicle to only move when KAZ1 is dead so i put this in the condition "!alive KAZ1" However nothing works as it goes ahead depsite KAZ1 being alive. I've also tried syncing the triggers and still no luck. Any help anybody ? Thanks Dan
Gunter Severloh 4070 Posted July 3, 2010 Hello, Do an area trigger and sync it to the waypoint, when KAZ1 (Opfor assume) is not present then the vehicle moves.
steelblood 10 Posted July 3, 2010 (edited) Hmm can't seem to get it to work and i'd rather do it with the unit dying (I'm not rejecting the idea :P) It's just i don't know how to do the prescense ones ---------- Post added at 07:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:35 PM ---------- Got it working the unbits move to first waypoint regardless don't they ? And i synced it to first waypoint so that's why nm :D Edited July 3, 2010 by steelblood
Gunter Severloh 4070 Posted July 3, 2010 The area trigger covers an area and is just when the enemy is in the trigger, your settings would be: activate: Opfor (or whoever you want to be dead for the other guy to move) not present: make sure this is set or it wont work Adjust the size of the area to fit then sync the area trigger to the waypoint, so that when the enemy is dead (not present) then the other guy that is following a way point will move. He wont move unless the guy you want dead is not present, this can mean if hes not in the area of the trigger that can make him move too. Just one way of doing it, pretty much what I use all the time, There are many ways to setup conditions but thats one the simplest ways I know of.
Raziaar 0 Posted July 18, 2010 I too have had issues with waypoints not obeying conditional rules at all... always going no matter what. What's the point of the conditional if it doesn't want to work properly.
