fragnatix 10 Posted July 1, 2010 I have tried several setting for Operation Arrowhead cause i wasnt getting FPS stable. I decided to put in the shortcut of combined op, cpucount=4 and the FPS went stable. I did not put postprocessing, but the performance is way better now, no lagging at all i have i7 930 5870 6gb ram win 7 64bits So i guess BI will release a new patch that fix that problem! ---------- Post added at 12:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:19 AM ---------- i tried PP to normal and it seems to work still good, FPS didnt dropped
bobby budnick 0 Posted July 2, 2010 I wanted to say I can confirm this. The task manager shows all 4 cores being used much more now. There are similar reports across the forum.
1in1class 0 Posted July 2, 2010 (edited) Im getting this bad lag issue also, try to do what i could with the settings but nothing went right. OA plays very bad to ArmA 2, its when you move your laging like you was playing MP but im playing SP. Hope BI fix this issue as its an big one at that. What do you mean by shortcut of combind op? cpucount=4? What is this about? How do i do what you have done? Edited July 2, 2010 by 1in1class need
-)rStrangelove 0 Posted July 2, 2010 You can add start parameters behind your arma2oa.exe in the link on your desktop. Never heard of it?
Nithrakis 10 Posted July 2, 2010 I disabled hyper threading and it helped quite a bit (solved my stuttering problems). The 1.07 patch for Arma 2 solved this problem but OA doesn't seem to have those fixes yet.
